More arenas would certainly be nice. If it's another round of characters, my hopes and guesses would be something like this:

Revenant Pack:

Want: Smoke, Kabal, Stryker, Jade
Guess: Smoke, Nightwolf, Sindel, Kabal

Want: Tasia, Reiko, Havik, Frost
Guess: Reiko, Havik, Kintaro, Spawn (becuz comix!)

Mk9 had 32 characters, Injustice had 32. I think MKX will have at least 3 more characters, I mean Baraka, Rain, and Sindel are already there. Not to mention a Fujin and Bo Rai Cho model in the story.

Those two are mandatory inclusions, especially Reiko due to his role in the comics where the story doesn't suck, unlike the game's story.

Li Mei, Bo Rai, Rain, Havik (though I have a hunch he is going to be held over to MK11), or another new character so long as its not a waste of space, like Jacqui, would be wise inclusions, too. More stages is a must. 12 was never acceptable, and I have no idea how they thought it was. A revenant pack would be a good idea, too. Throw-in the revents that already have models, and make them playable, even if they just have one variation.

Idk I would rather have fully fleshed out characters than ones with only one variation. That would be a real waste of space.

I really want the life of MKX extended through DLC. I want as many characters as possible.

This game needs more stages, more brutalities, more costumes (SZ's MK9/Shredder), more Reiko, and more Shang Tsung.

I'd pay for pack 2 since I find pack 1 pretty much useless and won't buy it other than Predator and maybe Tremor. I think that stages are a must, at least another four. If two characters, then Shao Kahn and Reiko. If four, then add Shang Tsung and Sareena. Add another 16-20 costumes (for new characters, DLC's, Goro, and SZ) and another 1-2 brutalities per character. I'd pay another 40 bucks for it.

Why's everyone acting like Baraka, Sindel and Rain aren't the highest priority? Like Tanya, if they're fightable that means they were partially done by the time of release.

I'd be fine if they went the Capcom route and did 4 Kharacters & 4 Arenas

Tanya wasn't in MK9 the three others were. They're not "partially done" they just brought over the MK9 gameplay assets.

This. Plus the fact Boon made it clear there are others in line even before the likes of Baraka.

If we do get a second pack, Id like them to exchange costumes for arenas. 4 arenas and 4 characters is much more worth it to me than 15 more costumes I may or may not ever even use.

In total, 8 characters, all the costumes, however many klassic fatalities we're gonna get and 4 arenas is one hell of a way to support the game post launch and keep interest. Id applaud the hell out of them.

For the love of God, just bring Reiko back already NRS.

That'd be some crazy good KI goodness there. I'd luv for that, or maybe even making alternate arenas for the couple currently without them.

All the returning characters got completely new normals, new animations for their specials, etc while these 3 are straight up copy/pasted from 9, so definitely not. Unless they decided to go the lazy route, BUT i doubt it seeing how story mode Tanya had a couple of unique animations and still got completely redone.

Fujin, Reiko are easily my numbers 1 and 2 for most wanted DLC characters. If we get 2 more I hope Sareena and any one of Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke, or Noob-Saibot.

Sindel, Baraka and Rain also have new models and voice acting. As for their MK9 animations, you know that's how all the other returning characters started when they were making MKX.

Except the problem here is that if all 4 of them are released, NRS will face a huge backlash for it having already been technically 'on disc' already and I doubt they're looking for that sorta publicity. The only reason Tanya made it as DLC was because she was already heavily requested during the production (something Baraka and Sindel did NOT experience) and Boon loves the character. Rain's automatically out because of his prior statements about paying twice in a row for the same DLC, and Baraka/Sindel just aren't blowing up NRS's twitter feeds as much as other characters are. As for new models and voice acting, that doesn't count towards much considering literally everybody had updated looks and voices, even Bo' and we know he damn sure ain't gonna be in a future pack.

I honestly wouldn't hold your breath for Sindel, Baraka or even Rain, especially Baraka considering how he got offed in the story, it's blatantly obvious they have no plans what-so-ever for him as a playable character in MKX. If anyone makes it, it's likely gonna be Fujin, Noob Saibot (because Rain is out, Smoke was deconfirmed by Boon and of course they'll throw in another ninja), Cyrax (because people are demanding the return of a cyborg) and another 3D era character, probably Li Mei so that the pack isn't so penis heavy.

Plus, not to knock the characters, but if they really want to push the sales of a second Kombat Pack (without any guests included), I hate to say it but I can't see Sindel and Baraka selling that well..... Noob Saibot and Cyrax on the other hand would lead towards selling much better, imo, and packaged with Fujin and another female for us die-hards would be icing on an already delicious cake.

Huge backlash my ass most of the casuals already figured they were DLC anyway and let's not forget we're at a time where Arkham Knights season pass is getting grumbles of irritation. THAT'S not even a huge backlash and that's a much bigger issue than 4 extra characters that used to be Story NPCs but like Tanya would get a moveset overhaul.

It's also common sense, if that was referring to me. Certain characters are needed to sell a pack of DLC. For this one it was clearly the guests as the focal point. However Baraka, Rain and Sindel just ain't gonna cut it. They're too 'niche' for the general public. Sure they're known but they aren't exactly 'necessary' characters that people would go nuts over. They're not 'big' enough to lead that charge. Ninjas and cyborgs however.....

And just for the record (and I've made this pretty clear the past several months) I want a pack of lesser characters. I want Rain, I want Fujin, I want Bo', I want Li Mei and I honestly wouldn't even mind Baraka after how freaky looking his updated face was in MKX......but it's just not gonna happen and that's the honest truth of the matter. And I honestly refuse to lie to myself and pretend it's even possible because of course it isn't, they're gonna go with the most demanded and the more popular. That's good business. If they go in for a second pack, it's gonna be full of character types people will recognize (ninjas) and the characters fans have bitched about the most (Fujin, Rain, Cyrax, ect.) because it'll be a guaranteed big seller and that's the goal, especially without a guest involved. In fact, I'd go a step further and say I'd even bet $200 that if we do get another pack of 4, it'll include; Fujin, a ninja (Rain/Noob), a cyborg and a female. If any of those remaining 3 from story mode make it in, it'll only be one of them max. That I can pretty much safely say. As Boon put it, there are way too many other characters being more heavily demanded than Baraka and Sindel (which is kind've a shame as I don't think they get enough appreciation).

I'm sorry but Fujin and Li Mei have even less of a chance of selling than the NPCs already in game. At least they have a general recognition from not just the old trilogy but MK9 as well.

But say you bring in those characters throw in a Ninja who has most of his shit taken and given to other characters in game already so why even waste the time and the only important one being a character who was not at all in Story mode much like Noob Saibot. Might as well just call it the Cyrax pack instead.

Pretty fucked up to hint at a story pack and not include any of the NPCs that were fightable in Story.

It pisses people off either way you slice it so you might as well just do what people have come to expect: Work on the NPCs in game and throw in a surprise character.
