Well I don't know about you guys but I really want to know how they design, build and layout the story mode, so I'm going to ask a couple of those type of questions since they will obviously avoid the questions most people will ask like "Is Tanya/Fujin/etc in story mode?".

Yeah, not sure why they're doing this when in reality they will sidestep everything.
How about something like this:
"Why do you cocktease the involvement of MK4 era characters in the story but actually make none of them playable?"

There is a fairly good chance I think that they might show the portion of story mode in the stream that they're showing at GDC.

Quan and Kenshi were both in MK9, Shinnok was glimpsed. Why continue teasing other 3D characters if none of them are playable? #Kombatkast

Ask them about these "QTEs that can lead to different paths".
Will we have a fucking villain arc for fucks sake? Stop trying to be like the fucking Justice League of America NRS. I just can't believe for the life of me that MK vs DC had a more thorough story mode then the sequels. They should just drop the chapter bullshit & have the storylines where you could choose a character & complete their storyline like so.
So much for being creative, eh Boon?
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
One of a few aspects that japanese game developers do right.

Just skip the questions bit and show us what they want to(or can). If they can't show anything then don't bring it up lol. Show a character and stage, I'm fine with that.

I asked them if Bi-Han would play a part in the story. Boring question I know, probably won't even get answered for spoiler purposes, but I'm really curious.

I probably won't watch the stream or anything else at this point, because I don't want to know much of the story before I get the game, since its only a month away.

LOL I just checked, got several favorites but didn't look who from. That's hilarious. I hope it blows the fuck up on their end.

This. I won't play their stupid PR games, because they're making the rules and they suck.
I feel the mutual respect between NRS and the fanbase is gone. Lately, they're treating us like idiots and I'm not fancying that. The fun part should go both ways and I'm not feeling it anymore.
If they got something to show and tell, well, I'll be there to watch. But I'm not taking the role they're offering again.

I for one don't want them to spoil the story through a stream one month before the game's release. I haven't waited this long just to be spoiled now. I know the premise and the rest I will find out as soon as I have the game. The only thing I'd also like to know is if Mythologies was retconned in the last comic chapter (which would be a disgrace). Why people want story details at this point is beyond me.

Agreed, unless a stream is showing off character play styles, I don't want anymore spoilers.
With Both Deception and MK9 , I had spoiled everything for myself to the point that when the game came out my hype level was pretty much gone.
I don't want to see anything about the story from here on out except for what's going on the comics.

I got one that's probably far-fetched as hell.
Did Shinnok or Quan Chi also send a message back in time at the end of Armageddon, knowing what Raiden would do, or somehow interfere with his causing Raiden's visions to be vague so that they could more easily take advantage of Earthrealm if things went awry? Or was Quan Chi always just supposed to be "there" for no reason and kinda ignored in MK1-3 because the developers like him?

Same with MK9 for me. By the time it came out I knew the entire roster (including unlockable characters), had the script to the story, and had played the game via a demo with four characters of which two I mained eventually.

Problem is that this is a double edged sword.
They don't have to let us know we can ask questions if they have already set up what they want us to know. On the other side, we don't have to come up with question we know won't be answered anyway. Like asking which characters are in there and playable. You know they're not going to answer those kind of questions. But then... they also don't need to pick up these kind of questions in the stream and then say "oh, we can't answer those, but soon, just have patience". They just need to pick out the question they want to answer, otherwise they are just marketing and hyping at that point. And that is nog what fans want.
So both sides are to blame... .

I gotta ask them if MK9 is meant to be the same universe as MK1-Armageddon. MK9's intro retcons Armageddon's ending and some of the things so far seem changed without an explanation. Sub-Zero holding up Scorpion's head in his village could be Quan Chi messing with Scorpion's memories when resurrecting him, but the Kamidogu are now different without an explanation so far and that makes me wonder. Maybe they've been borrowing some ideas from DC.

Originally I had the feeling it was supposed to just be a retcon because you could see Hotaru, Li Mei etc in the crater but Taven wasn't there even though they could've dropped his model in. But with the new story hooks I'm not so sure.
If people aren't fans of the direction the series is taking the devs could revisit that and say "well this universe had similar events that led to an Armageddon of it's own, but it's not the same."
I don't think they'll ever cross over the universes for a game storyline or continue both at the same time if that's even the case, but it'd be interesting to know.
