Whether he is human or reptile form I hope they give him a damn voice actor. I was really upset in mk9 when he had no voice, I feel as though it helped him become more of an obscure character.

Human Reptile should be the default skin. I agree with the op about how the extra skins should fit his fighting styles.

I just wish he friggin talks again.

Three Stances.
- Human Reptile Ninja upright.
- Reptile curved hybrid.
- Reptile Lizard without mask (to be able to bite) Hooded Serpent.

Never hope for Reptile to have any specific form; you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I think the safest assumption however is that we see a body-type extremely similar if not exact (just updated graphically) to MK9 just with different clothing/mask/hood/etc.

It will be interesting to see the direction NRS is going with the game. Reptile has changed in each installment of the game to this point. However this is the first sequel in the reboot of the franchise and therefore we cannot be sure if the trend will continue or if Reptile will be the same as in MK9. Extremely interesting to see which path they will choose.

I prefer the humanoid lizard look, like MKSM and MK9. My main problem with Reptile in MK9, as with most characters in MK9, is that he seemed way to over-designed. I really Liked his MKSM look, just do something like that with a better mask instead of head wraps and we are golden.

It feels like the character designers go way overboard with the reptilian imagery. We get it, his name is Reptile, and he looks like a reptile. His costume doesn't need to be covered in reptilian designs. Scorpion felt the same way, it just makes it look to complicated to me.



This would look so much better to me if they dropped the metal Cobra ornamentation.

And for the love of god, if he looks reptilian, give his some real teeth. He looked like a toothless old fool in MK9 when he took his mask off.

My hope for Reptile is that he becomes less of a peon and more of the badass we all know he's capable of being.

Costume wise, MK9 was my favorite of his. My personal preference is a variation on that, adding more lizard like qualities, but not overboard like Deadly Alliance. That, and MK4 were my most hated Reptile looks. At least MK4 he looked threatening. DA made him look dumbfounded.

Have both..... Would be dumb to have him devolve have human as a alternate costume.

I liked his Shaolin Monks appearance. I wouldn't mind they do something with that for his next appearance.

As long as they stay so far away from the Deadly Alliance look. I get it as to why they did that to him (conquest explains everything) but it just looked extremely cheesy to me.

IF... they are to make that look come back, at least do something interesting with it.

Especially for the people that want reptile to be boring human again and people that want smoke with scorpions spear back, I hope they turn those characters extremely different than before.

I love Reptile in every form, except for the boring human form, so pointless.

I liked his MK9 look most, but some more reptilian stuff could be awesome.

I mean just because he's disguised as a human does not mean he is human.

I wouldn't mind a slightly more reptilian look. One thing that I would like to see change is his mask. I want his mask to be kind of like a cobra's hood that wraps around his face. I think that would be badass.

I don't care, it still looks boring and human.

+ we already have scorpion and sub-zero, hope reptile leaves the ninja group together with Rain and ERmac.

If they do make Reptile have his human disguise back, have it be just this. Nothing fancy, nothing outrageous just this. (Maaaaaaybe with some minor changes but nothing that throws off the original look)

Well for three games in a row he was disguised as a human. Ever since MK4 till now the only Reptile look I've seen have a lot of praise was from Shoalin Monks. People just hate full blown "lizard" Reptile.

mk4 reptile wasnt that bad. deadly alliance was the worst. just make him a ninja again. i hated his mk9 look. he look like he had mental retardation.
