I think I found my new main, won my last two online matches with her, but one was a disconnect so it didn't count.

Ah-ha! I was right.

The unblockable part refers to her stabbing herself and doing 7% damage. She can't block her own move.
The enemy can block the projectile and take 6% damage instead of 15%.

op i never cared for the female kharachters but i am enjoying skarlet alot honestly.

got a 8 win 7 loss ratio player 1 vs 1( relax i know i suck)

got one win with two with Kitana, 1 with ermac and the rest all Skarlet.

Not two mention three King of the hill matches I fought with her and won. :p

Then in Mk10, the lady in purple will become ur new favorite.
Ive been a Kitana fan since day one, and won't ever change.

I had one test for Skarlet to pass - could I picture her as a secret character in MK2 who'd evolved the same way Jade had?

She more or less succeeded. Thinking of the evolution of Jade from a faster Kitana who used gold fans to a unique character who had a boomerang projectile, I'm pretty sure they sat down at a table and went "well, if Skarlet had existed in MK2, she would have been what, a faster Mileena, basically? And what would we have changed along the way?"

Sais become knives, telekick goes backwards, roll is replaced by a dash. Voila.

Been waiting for her to become as real as Ermac became in UMK3. While I admit she's a little on the bland side, and am disappointed she's another grunt for Kahn (seriously, he's got enough now), it's a decent start. Let's see where she goes.
