definitely a character that you either love, or you hate, i find. Of course, i fall on the side of loving her. Has ridiculously easy combos, and she is so fun to play as. Im alright at online, but actually won my first couple matches in awhile using Skarlet. The fatalities are just icing on the cake.

She's amazing. One of the best in the game.

Very fast, but takes a little bit more effort to learn. Has TONS of specials.

While I'm not crazy about how... familiar most of her specials are,
I can't deny she's a force to be reckoned with.

And in an ironic twist, she's *great* for taking out Kahn.

Take Scorpion and give him Mileenas double sai projectile, you have Skarlet. She isnt all that great. People are just excited about her right now. I played as here for about 10 minutes, and went back to big mamma.

Big mamma stomped and kicked Skarlet all day.

Overall, Skarlet is the same shit we've seen before, just a diferent combination of it. Mileena-ish combos. Kitana zoning game, Scorpion/Smoke teleporting.

Slow start up on projectile, highly punishable but annoying teleports.

Fatalities are pretty cool.

Worth having but nothing going to blow you away. Let the excitement cool down and youll here more balanced things said about here.

Has no low hits in any combo, unless I missed one, thus mix ups are lacking.

she has tons of potential. ive seen some nice stuff online already and its just day one. im not too terribly excited bout her but who knows given enough time i might main her along with kitana

She is amazing and fun to play with. Fast , lots of default combos and special moves. She is cool ! XD

Are you kidding me? Skarlet is probably one of the stronger characters in the game period.

She has a long range attack that can either be a low hit, overhead, or a high hit.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's her little blood dash or whatever it's called. It can be cancelled into ANYTHING, even her teleport.

Do you not know how bad you can fuck with an opponents head because of that?

Her combos are extremely damaging if you do them right. I do a BnB that is
JIP F3 1 xx down slash -> F4 xx down slash, JK xx blood drop.
37% in an 8 hit combo.

She also has two low hit combos that seem like they don't combo into anything, but if you follow up with her dash special, you put your opponent in a 50/50 situation where you can either cancel into her down slash or cancel into her slide.

If skarlet is in the air at the same time as an opponent she can use her blood drop teleport and it will always land because of how fast it is.

Her xray is slightly on the weak side, but the reason for this is because it is an overhead and an anti air. It is also easily combo'd into resulting in 40%+ damage.

The only reason anyone would consider her weak or an ok character is because she has a bit of a learning curve. After a few hours in practice mode, she is easily in the top 5

This chics mix up game is by far the best in the game, It's fucking ridiculous. Love her. :)

Her lack of being able to combo out of a low hit intro string is more than made up in her ability to have a long range mix up attack. She is a beast.

Skarlet looks fun, but, I'm still undecided about her.

I'm not sure I want to buy her (specially not now that so many things about her are missing), but, I think I might end up buying her in the end.

I only like a few things about her, but, her overall look and design just isn't doing it for me.

i have come to the conclusion that even with this character that is pretty unique in my opinion (you can make any character seem similar to another if you try hard enough), people will still say that she is generic. If you arent happy with this, i guess they is nothing left to do except hope that Rain and Kenshi get a bit more of a welcoming treatment.
