Hey,

I am not sure if this has been discussed within this thread. but remember recently like within the last week or so ed put a comment relating to who has played street fighter the movie game? Maybe that is a hint that digitized actors might be returning? street fighter the movie game was digitized with 3d backgrounds. maybe this ties in with a "reboot" so to speak, as MK1 had digitized acttors as characters. any thoughts?

Please no... This would so suck balls. SF the movie game sucked balls. It worked on MK in the past... But now with all the new technologies they shouldn't use "real" actors.

Its already confirmed that they are doing motion capture. They aren't going back to primitive ways.

If you think about the idea it is not really a bad concept considering the newer technologies out there now days but I think he was asking the question to refer to a possible thought towards making a game based on the MK movie(s). Either that or he was actually really interested in the Street Fighter Movie game.

It all depends on how it was done. The thought of real actors is not that bad really. Look at the WWE games...granted the character models are a bit stiff but in MK they already are a bit stiff anyway. It would add a bit more of a unique feel to the characters. It might also give the game more realism.

Still not amazed... Seeing stiff characters like in WWE or even Deception would suck. And doing motion capture doesn't meen the game will use graphics like in SF movie or the old MK games
OMFG! Ed Boon said he likes The Wall album by Pink Floyd about a month ago! That must mean Pink Floyd are in the game! YES!

Lulz.

Why is Ed turning his back to us?

The a$$holes at WB must have forbidden him from posting MK twitters, or something.

You do realize that he is probably being spammed with tons of questions...half of which he probably can not answer. I would think he is more than likely just overwhelmed and there are just too many people asking questions. Than again they may have told him to quiet down to add to the hype and get people going. I would not jump to call the WB a$$holes as you put it...them "a$$holes are the ones bringing us the game we are waiting for. Like the old cliche states "Don't bite the hand that feeds".

If the rumor of the magazine spot is true than we should have info in the coming weeks before E3 but I do not think we will get more than that until after E3.

Those "a$$holes at WB" are letting Ed and the MK team make a classic M rated MK game when they clearly could have told them to make MK VS DC 2 instead. Don't go blaming them because Ed stopped posting hints, or what people thought were hints, on twitter.

Be patient. E3 is in 2 weeks. They'll announce the game there, if not a little sooner. I actually think it might be revealed a couple of days before E3. During Spike's GameTrailers TV E3 Special. They always have exclusive game announcements there and WB announced the sequel to Batman Arkham Asylum at the Spike Videogame Awards. Either way, I'm sure it will be announced at E3.

Hector's update says:

"8 days"

I'm thinking it might be a countdown to mk news...
EDIT-ah nevermind. He's probably just referring to the World Cup. DAMN IT.

I don't know actually. He could be talking about something MK related...never know. There are a few things it could be. Like you said...it could be the World Cup but it could also be MKast, web site reveal/opening,pre-E3 events or it could very well be MK9 info. We won't know until 8 days...but I do know whatever it is...it is 2 days before E3. Some one could ask him what he meant but if its MK related he probably won't be able to say.

It's been a crazy busy week...and we're only two days in...of a 4 day work week...WTF? You'd think we're getting ready for E3 or something.

As tweeted by SLKBoy. Cant remember exactly who that is, but I know he is on the team.
