The thing is, I've never thought or said "this person is DEFINITELY gay/straight/bi". I always say 'they give a vibe'. Doesn't mean they are, but I sense a possibility.

For example, pre-burned Kabal gave me gay vibes. I know that sounds weird, but I have a feeling Kabal was pretending to be someone he's not when he was working with Stryker. Granted, I believe Kabal cared for Stryker as a fellow officer, but his little act of "Golly gee, Stryker....what's going on here? Who's that weird chick? How'd that guy shoot lightning out of his hands?" is a SIGNIFICANT difference between his post-burn self act of "That guy with the skull helmet surrounded by overly-bizarre people? Yeah, I could take him down".

Anyway, the pre-burned Kabal gave me vibes mostly by his mannerisms and attitude. He didn't seem so much as buddies with Stryker as much as he seemed.....clingy. I don't know. Again, VIBE. Not 100%.


And before anyone jumps me, I'm not saying this simply because I want Kabal to pair with Stryker. Believe me, if there is anyone I would ever want to pair with Stryker, it's me.

He did seem concerned about Stryker at the end of his chapter when talking with Raiden.
On the other hand, he did seem to wanna "hit" Mileena while Stryker immediately went to "Definitely foe!'
Story mode was just a blast until the very end. XD

I could not agree more with that last sentence.

But I don't consider general concern for a friend a sign that would trigger a vibe. If they showed how post-burn Kabal acted around Stryker....AT ALL....maybe I would be able to make better judgement.

But you know....character development is useless and all.

Anyways, I don't think sexuality matters at all. Especially if their sexuality is never stated or implied. These characters are imaginary, and so are their orientations. If you want to believe that a character is straight, you are free to do so. If you want to believe that a characters is gay, you are free to do so. These things aren't directly stated, so the rest is up to the imaginations of the fans.

Sadly, we all know full well what happens when the imagination of the fans comes into play....

I will never get the Sub/Sareena pairing.

Bi Han showed some kind of complacency in not offing her, and had some sort of mercy (more like giving her a shot at proving herself worthy) towards her (not offing her, plus she offered her help).

Kuai Liang showed compassion, but not attraction towards her. And Sareena isn't to be trusted in the first place given her ending... as best I can remember, correct me if I am wrong.
