we are not asking for every character, every arena, every fatality, etc., to be revealed. those who are defending wb are going off the deep end. all we are asking for is realistic footage of characters and arenas already announced. as if an actual game play video of kitana, or cyrax, is gonna ruin launch day surprises. and anyone who has hopes of mk2 days where secrets and surprises ran wild, those were days before a little somethin' called the internet...

Let me tell you about wait time, Diablo 3: announced 2006: One gameplay video, some concept art and other things. No news for an entire year, not a damn thing. Duke Nukem Forever: 13 years, gearbox is getting it done after everyone else was shit-canned.

MK? we are getting info like candy compared to these two examples, and I am sure there are more out there.

Being that they've already told us the roster is pretty much all older characters (which is fine by me) I don't know why they are being so strict. MvC3 is coming out at the same time frame and there are tons of direct feed videous out there of it yet WB won't let us see anything of MK, that's kinda crap.

The only thing that had be worried was when he said the game will be out in March OR April.... PLEASE BE MARCH :( I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER!!!

Doubt it hombre, Probably either February or April, or possibly later. MvsC3 at the moment is March 2nd, MK2011 is March 1st. According to Gamestop's current release schedule, it'd be really shitty if WB decides to split the difference between MvsC3 and SF X Tekken, then we'd be getting it some time late next summer or fall.

WB is more likely to think financially, they will release it before the march fiscal if they can. If not they'll put it out when NR is ready to give it the go ahead.

You're right, financially it's also smart to release it no where near a huge fighter like MvsC3, as of right now and for weeks now, they're slated for 1 day apart. Obviously that will change, hopefully it's Capcom that changes their date, but I doubt it, I see Capcom wanting to go heads up with WB/NR, so more then likely it'll be the time frame of MK2011 being changed.

I agree. Let's be realistic here. There's at least 7 months left before release. That's a shit load of time for info to come out. That means we're not going to be getting new screenshots and new confirmations every couple days. It's going to be a slow pace to the point that when something does come it'll be unexpected and special. Do we really want constant badgering for new info to be the identity of this site for half a year? How long are you going to watch this pot before you realize you'll be waiting 7 months before it boils?

I think they need to release Shang Tsung, Kano, Sonya Blade and Raiden.

Then stop with reveiling, the other characters need to be a surprise, especially Kabal and Baraka.

They should cut that last robo-character whatever it is, as it would ruin the magic of Cyrax and Sektor. Cyrax and Sektor go sooo wel toghether, another robot/cyborg would only spoil their magic and uniqueness, its like putting two Indians in it, nightwolf and his brother, which totally spoil nightwolf.

man, i would love to see shang. Even if we don't get to play as old shang it still would be cool to see him.

This game is going to sell like hotcakes. I can anticipate them breaking a record or two, or at least outsell any previous MK game to date.

you can actually see old shang sitting on his throne in the background at the start of a video interview from pax. it has kitana, etc., in the fight. you can also see old shang sitting on his throne if you watch the 1st trailer from e3 very carefully.

Hair modeling aside, why do the people playing this game and giving us videos insist on hopping around like spazzes?

They are so thrilled to play this game, it reflects their inner joy.

Had to take a dramamine to get through the videos. Hopefully we get some matches from the developers, so we can actually see some special moves and a match that shows off more than the up button.

I can see it now, online for MK(9) is going to be a jump fest. Jump back, jump forward kick, rinse repeat.
