I wonder if they'll give Johnny his shadow powers?

Great episode, and look they managed to dig up Victor Lucas and put him back on the Electric Playground set that he and Tommy Tallarico used to work on.

The whole power rangers and "you got saved" thing was funny. Ed boon can act too lol. This Johnny is very likable. Looks like Shang Tsung can freeze time as well. I love how the whole supernatural element is being introduced into the series when he appeared.

It just gets better and better, doesn't it. He was an awesome Johnny Cage.

Shang just stole Taven's time stopping powers. XD
Oh well, he's not even around at this point anyway, haha.

Very good and highly amusing. Do not understand the purpose of censoring for a few days?! I know, I know... the world will end if we hear someone say, "fuck you". Matt captured Cage very well. Would have to see more to know who portrays Cage the best. Ed Boon's cameo and the Power Rangers sub-plot were both nice extra touches. The spin kick @ 2:20 in the video is awesome! My only complaint is the actors who play Cage and Kano look too similar. I would have lightened Matt's hair a bit.

I guess after the whole eye thing, they're gonna play it safe. Still, this is the kinda stuff we should've got 15 years ago instead of Annihilation. Hmm, what an appropriate name, lol.
devilwithin The boy kicked out at the world. The world kicked back a lot fuckin' harder.

I haven't been fan of Johhny Cage but I'm liking the legacy verison. Enjoyed this episode.
YESH! YESH! THIS IS DELICIOUS!
Yeah, I used Bison on MKO. Sue me. I am so far absolutely digging the new Cage.
Next week: Kitana vs Mileena. Wow, looking from the preview they made Mileena look like Kuchisake-onna. If that is the case, fuck the tarkatan mishmash gene splicing, EPIC WIN! May even bother to give a shit about Kitana.
What can I say? I loved this episode. Matt Mullins was awesome. Knowing that stock footage is actually him from his high school days makes me dread ever running into him if he's pissed off.
The fights were great, far improved over the last few efforts. The background and celebrity turmoil actually made me care about Johnny in a mere 10 minute runtime.
The only criticisms I have are the obvious censoring (they didn't do a very good job DOING the censoring either), a BIT heavy on the fake commercial (though "Ed Goodman" FTW), and the fact Johnny doesn't fight anybody who can give him a real good fight.
But, yeah. Great episode. I was looking forward to this one.

lol that was pretty sweet. I hope they make a movie!!!!
Matt just made me love Cage even more! He was a great choice for casting. I would totally watch his show Asshole producers. I really hope we get to see him again, along with Jax and Sonya. And I have to say, interesting way to start off the episode and introduce Johnny.
Tsung was a little on the short side, no?

Victor Lucas still does that show! Its on all the time in Canada. They are both filmed in Vancouver so thats probably why they got together.
Fuckin' awesome stuff. As a Power Rangers fan it was great seeing that little reference in it, especially considering the JC actor actually worked on Kamen Rider, which is a sort of Power Rangers cousin show.
I didn't really feel the Shang Tsung actor. A bit too young for my tastes.
But the whole episode was awesome. Can't wait for the next one.

Well this blew the first two shitty episodes out of the water... but like its predecessors, the ending sucked ass.
THAT is supposed to be Shang Tsung?
