@everyone...Once Crow reveals all I will show the revisions I was unable to enter and things that were extended that I removed before I entered. Plus I used the hero machine to make an image of the extra bonus Alt costume as a treat. I was going to draw it by hand but was not feeling up to it...in anycase I have a good amount of extra stuff to show to make up for the bio I entered. Edit: I am fixing to play some Black Ops and hopefully when I return everything will be up and I will reveal stuff.

So I guess we just pass a box of tissues around?

Aaaaaand now that his profile's up, I can finally tell you a bit about Merrick's creation:

I chose the name Merrick for a few reasons. First, and least importantly, we only know one male Edenian by name, Jerrod. Merrick sounds like a name that could feasibly come from the language that produced Jerrod. Merrick is an Arabic name. It has relation to death and was used to name the fourth planet from the sun. That planet is also named 'Mars' after the Roman God of War. In other words, Merrick's name is a representation of the path he's being inexorably drawn to. He goes from a pacifistic healer, to a hypocritical doctor and, were his ending to be true, all the way to a death-dealing conqueror. A march leading from his name being completely wrong for him to describing him perfectly.

Now, the thing about his ending is that it is, of course, not true. But Merrick is headed that way regardless. I like to think Merrick is suffering from millenia long cases of both PTSD and survivor's guilt and, as such, he's subtly unhinged. While he is not some raving violent lunatic he's already managed to change into a completely different person from who he was and all he really needs is another little push, negative or positive,s to go off the deep end. A villain just waiting to happen.

I know you took a lot of time on this and thank you so much for organizing this, but mine isn't right, I sent a completely updated one with a picture, a friendship and revised bio, revised ending and revised moves. I asked if you received my update some weeks ago, but I never got a response, so I guess not

Don't jump the gun just yet, Merrick fights on the side of the angels. It may only take one particularly good or bad day to push him over the edge, but that day hasn't come.

Read Marek's profile. Good to know the guy trying to steal my character's thunder with his name is pretty well made himself.

Crow It's no big deal but can you put the primary costume first on the character Ekimaru, so people don't get confused :D

Awesome, thanks for the comment. And the funniest part is I literally only spent about an hour working on my character before submitting. I was afraid of being one of the weaker entires. Oh well, there's still time to sit in the corner and cry in the fetal position, haha.

Same here, I sent a revised attachment on Keilenaten, with a pic of her. It's blurred one. I think it's okay though. It only had another move or two, and one or two of the moves there were changed, and the fatalities were a lil different, but with the same end results.

Not yet, just took a look at my first opponent Limbo, and might I say, Dayum. I must best a God of Gravity for my first challenge. That is just wrong, I did not see that in my visions, dang it!! Onward to view my better, as it were. Edit: And, DAYUM! Although, I must admit my only complaint is the ending was doubleposted. For a moment there, I thought I was having Deja vu.

If anyone has anything they'd like me to fix concerning revisions, please let me know some time before the contest begins. I don't particularly want to make revisions during an active contest, but if you have something for me tonight or early tomorrow, please send it over.

Okay, so here's some more detailed information on Lorsid.

First of all, I'd like to point out that the descriptions of her primary and secondary costumes are some other characters. I only sent images, no descriptions. Also, the primary costume is the plain black image, and the alternate is the blue one with what looks like electricity running through it (signifying she is made of pure energy).

So here's Lorsid's story completely revealed:
When Raiden sent the message back in time to his past self, the Elder Gods of the original timeline realized what he had done. Their plan all along had been for the realms to be destroyed by Armageddon, and they couldn't risk Raiden saving the realms in another timeline by changing the events that happened therein. Therefore, the Elder Gods created their very own warrior powerful enough to win the tournament and sent her back in time to compete in the tournament (in the MKII - 3 portion). They gave Lorsid the ability to transform her body into various forms and create weapons with her very flesh (similar to the T-1000), allowing her to transform into a ball (as in an actual ball, not just a tuck and roll sort of thing), produce spikes from her body, and also produce a whip, which is her primary weapon. She also has the ability to create portals and teleport.

Then, as her ending states, after winning the tournament, Lorsid brought about the destruction of the realms by immersing them in complete and utter darkness and chaos, thus bringing about the Elder Gods' plans for Armageddon in the new timeline as well.

Other than a few minor typos on my end, everything looks good.

I suppose I shall reveal the origin of Ire inspiration wise:

Ire's visual design is loosely based on the character Gore from Quake 3, his timeline takes place in the same time period as Mount and Blade. Other than that, everything is all original.

Understandable, my first checks were Merrick (to make sure everything was in order), Hana (1st round opponent), Marek (Some name stealing jerkass, who knows ), Sapheera and Greyia (2nd round opponents if Merrick gets past Hana).

For those interested, Marek was originally gonna be the ressurected body of one of the souls that make up Ermac (hence the anagram for his name, along with the trademark K in place of a hard C, lol) but this was back during the Armageddon/vsDCU days, and since then I just remade him as a rogue Shadow Priest instead. I've had a lot on my plate recently, so I worry the ending I submitted might be too generic or weak, and the origins of some of his powers and fatalities may seem too vague.
