His character might be done in a week! Lol jk

I think crow is gonna split the bracket voting up which sucks because I'm in the third bracket and will have to wait longer.

I'll have no internet at all! So will be FREE for a week without typing, searching, downloading, uploading, anti-virusing, updating, editing, facebooking, porn watching (fack did I just let that slip?).

So will have no idea of the outcome to any battle. But I hope to get the second round at least. Shoulen has a good story, look, set of moves that fit his abilities, good finishing moves, x-ray also fits his abilities and ending leaves a sense of continuation. So all I can do is wait till I get back to see the aftermath of the battle(s).

EVERYONE, GOOD LUCK! CANT WAIT TO SEE EVERYONES CHARACTER!

SHAMONE M,F'ers!!! lol

Erzhära and some characters a like, are created too powerful beyond what is needed, which makes them unbelievable.

If my character had a power which called on the power of the Elder Gods to vaporize my opponents body to nothing, that is unbelievable. But a move like that would kill everyone.

The character has to be believable to the MK universe.

Interesting to see how "overpowering" some characters are made out to be.

Erzhära "overpowered"... L-O-L. Skarlet is more "overpowered" than her. But you can believe one thing... "You will suffer!" grin

Right now, I'm looking at running three matches each day, one from each of the brackets. After the first round, I will probably lessen the amount of matches per day to slow it down somewhat. That would mean round one would take 16 days total. Do you guys think that sounds fine?

As far as prizes go, it will probably be announced some time shortly after I reveal the character pages. MKO has a stockpile of prizes; right now I'm trying to decide what's more appropriate to give away for this particular contest.

I don't know, man.

The name Malice alone gains interest.

As weird as it may sound, I'm ten times more excited about the actual competition and seeing all the characters than winning the prizes.

I mean, I'm positive the prizes are going to kick ass, but that's not the main reason I entered the tournament.

I have a question... The preliminary round was to figure out who went into the first brackets of the eliminations, right? Well, what about all these other characters that have not been seen? They dont get voted on before deciding whether they are given the chance to fight? Kinda seems unfair to the first 8 of us that had to sweat out two different "firing squads" if you will.confused

As well, with suh a long deadline leading into the close of submissions, as callous as it sounds, it rather serves you right, so to speak, for submitting your characer so late. I obviously don't mean that in the sense that you deserve punishment for not being first out of the gate, but it's really only fair that the last to audition should be the ones competing for their spots.

And to the person commenting that no one really knows much about their first round opponents, that's only mostly true. I'm up against Komodo from the Prelims. And while I have confidence in my character, Komodo is strong enough a concept hat I'm not going to make any arrogant "You're done for!" comments anytime soon.

So just how the fuck do you know when I submitted my kharacter? And even so, who the fuck are you? Crow took the time to submit it, right? So apparently I was entered in plenty of time. This rude attitude I'm giving you... yeah... serves you right.

It's true. 8 people have advance knowledge of who they'll be facing.

Actually, I was in the top 8 and have NO idea anything about Snake. But Snake's creator may know about Eternus. I hope this doesn't prove as to be as scary as it seems. Hahah

Will prizes be for only the winner and runner-ups? Or will there be finalist prizes, consolation prizes, etc?

Everyone will receive a complimentary 5 dragon points, just for entering a character. I will probably end up giving smaller prizes to second and third place, since the final match is a three-way contest. Like I said, I still haven't decided. It would be easier to make this decision if a certain something didn't end up sucking terribly.

Relax guys. I was referring to the Prima guide. We have one of the KE versions and were going to be giving it away as a prize, but due to the abysmal reviews and general lack of content, it's sort of a dud as a good prize. If it had not sucked, there's a good chance I could have used it for this contest due to the art related content it was supposedly going to contain (this being an artsy type contest).

Whew, that's good to hear.
Well, looks like I've got two weeks to sweat it out until my match.
Good luck, everybody!

I would push it up to 4 rounds a day to cut 4 days off the tourney, maybe alternating 2 and 2 from each of the three brackets. I don't know if people would find that too much though.

Thoughts?
