1: Fear

Wins because he's more original than his opponent, but his bio is entirely too long. I know there is no limit, but this is an example of writing a novel length bio and I thunk its really going to turn me off in the later rounds.

2: Salzar

Despite him looking like Green Arrow, his story connects him to the mk universe better than his competition.

3: Russle

This was tough .... But ultimately I just dont think another ice character is needed.

Match 1: Fear- I love the mind manipulation angle.

Match 2: Aurore- love the attitude, costume descriptions, savate fighting style( I loved it on the show human weapon), and specials.

Match 3: Russell

These seem to be getting harder as we go along...

Day 4 Match 1: FEAR

This was almost a toss up, but Id say that Fear had a bit of a better moveset. I really liked Scorch, and debated this one a long time. His whole story would actually make so much more sense than the actual one in game, and if it was only up to story then Scorch would have had it, but swift or smooth gameplay is something I lean towards, regardless of a characters back story. Fear had that, along with a nice malevolent story. Fear could be tough to beat lol

Day 4 Match 2: AURORE

Aurore had a very well polished bio, matching ending, and better moves than Salzar imo. This one was not really close, even though both Aurores fatalities reminded me of other fighters', but I dugg the ending for her too though.

Day 4 Match 3: RUSSEL

This was actually really tough, the hardest for me so far actually lol. Frigid story was so strong that it made up for a slight lack of originality, as hes yet another cryomancer in the game, but it would be awesome to see that whole history played out, especially with the theme of time manuevering and all that business..Anyway Russels madness got this. A wild and unorthodox style, but just right. This one again came down to gameplay, because Frigid, I feel, has the stronger story.

Difficult decisions- especially the second bout.

Match 1: Fear.
Match 2: Aurora.
Match 3: Russel. (Difficult decision, both were well written and interesting, as well as nicely drawn. In the end it came down to that I think we need more strange characters and less ninjas)

Whoever created Fear though needs to know that his Bio is waaaay too long. Great storytelling though, and a great fighter.

My problem with Fear is that his story has nothing to do with the new timeline. He's preparing for battle in Armageddon, but then something about he wants to defeat Liu Kang to win Mortal Kombat? Does this mean he time traveled back to the events that take place in MK9? I don't have a problem with that idea (my character does it too), but there was nothing in the bio that stated that. Also, the ending was just incoherent. Like really, I read that Khameleon's Fear's wife, he's Reptile's father, and Chameleon's his brother-in-law, but that's all I got and none of it is properly explained.

I'm really thinking about skipping this entire round. None of the characters are really worthy of moving on, with one exceptions: Aurore is decent enough (though the randomness of relocating to New Mexico of all places puzzles me, but I guess if Sheeva lives in Australia...). Salzar is ok, but his moves and fatalities are just too bland. His fatalities should have made use of his crossbow

Frigid is just a combination of Sub-Zero and Shang Tsung, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like his costume is just photoshopped. If it is a drawing, I'm impressed, but it doesn't look like it. We've already got 3 ice-based warriors; we don't need any more.

And Scorch only has 3 specials? And again, he just seems like a combination of two characters (Scorpion and Sub-Zero). Not to mention, there is NO physical description whatsoever.

Russel is a shitty name in my opinion and aurore is too repetitive fear could easily be integrated into the mk universe because he has the style and history and overall is very well thought out Salazar because i dont like Aurore at all. and frigid, he could be good and his description shows that he is NOT just another version of sub-zero and overall looks preety cool cant wait for next round keep up the good work

horrendously long bio, but fear is pretty cool and anyway takes this one by default. scorch's 'invisibilty, fire and ice' moves give him zero originality or uniqueness.

...erm, didnt like either of these to be honest. this was basically kano v sub-zero, and sub-zero is more cliched so i pick kano. russel for me, but really not impressed by this match-up at all.
