Stryker!!! He was fun to play, he may not have a great design, but he is cute! And stryker has always been one of my favorite combatants since his debut

Jacqui was just really bland and boring.

The first one is a little too close to call, it was pretty much a coin toss for me.

First Match: I voted Goro. Although Goro did not participate in Story Mode and his role as the sub-boss again was poor, his role in the comic is great. Also, improving his moveset as a character would be easier than Ermac. I believe there are too many Shokans. Goro should take Kintaro's unique moveset and Sheeva should get her own unique and new set of moves. Ermac needs a new set of moves as telekinesis should solely go to Kenshi and his soul powers would improve Shang Tsung's character.

Second Match: Vote goes to Kurtis Stryker. Before MK9, Stryker wasn't that good of a character. MK9 improved his character in many ways. He looks like how I would've wanted him to look like and his voice, moveset, and storyline was great. He should be the only character that gets guns. (He;s the original cop, so no guns for Cassie Cage, Jackson Briggs, Jacqui Briggs, or Erron Black). Jacqui seems pretty bland in MKX. Her attitude could've went to Cassie and her powers are copied from others. Cassie has copied moves too, but she still stood out greatly. And there are too many characters with guns to make a character stand out and she stood out the least out of all new characters.

As a new and different character entirely, sure. As the Ermac we all know and love? Not even close. Loose the mummy look, give him something closer to his MK9 appearance, make the floating stop and we're in business. I can understand the whole "getting away from the pallet swap ninja look" but this is ridiculous.

My vote goes to Stryker btw. I like them both don't get me wrong but Stryker was one of the sole survivors during Shao Khans invasion in the original timeline which drew me to him in the first place, and even in this timeline he still lost Kabal as a partner and in the end had to fend for himself. He's a badass who is more than capable of dealing with catastrophic events when he has to. It's just too bad that he had to die by Sindel's hand and end up a revenant. Jacqui can hold her own as well, but I get the vibe that she ultimately needs a team to survive.

I went with Jacqui. To me, their moves are both a bit weak and their looks are a tad generic, but neither of them are "bad" to me. I see more potential in Jacqui though. A potential relationship with Takeda, a friendship with Cassie, her Dad, and the Special Forces all provide a solid foundation that could springboard her toward some interesting story possibilities in the future.

Maybe she goes bad and betrays the SF. Maybe she washes out of the military and becomes a loner and that affects her relationships with everyone. Maybe she becomes this bad ass pit fighter because of it or a million other things!

Stryker, I dunno, I just don't see a ton of interesting stuff with him. He's a revenent, but he was a riot cop. I dunno, dead or alive he just feels like a foot soldier with not a ton going on. I like him, but I like her more.

I liked where they were heading with it, but not what actually happened. Ever since I saw his alt in MK9 I wanted that to be his new primary look, it was perfect imo, so I am glad they kind of went with that, but it just isn't the same now lol Now his face is showing, he looks like a withered old man, he is all scrawny like twig, and like you said looks like some sort of mummy lol

I guess I am kind of nitpicking but man am I disappointed with his actual look in this game, which is odd since his MK9 alt is my favorite look for him ever.

It's the floating and lack of a mask bro.

I love his look in this for both costumes. I like the "scrawny" body type. He's not really scrawny though, everyone else is just so jacked lol. Also love the way you can see his body withering away because there's so many souls in it. I would have liked to see his MK9 alt in this but to me this is still my favorite Ermac look.

Stryker. Don't like either of them, but he is the lesser of two evils.

Also on the Ermac thing, I agree. MKX is the worst iteration of him we've seen. His gameplay is equally disappointing.

I can kind of understand why people don't like the way he looks but wtf is wrong with his gameplay?

They are on even level for me. But, I guess Daegon has more going for him with ties to Edenia, The Red Dragon and Shinnok, so him.

Taven

I really liked playing as Taven during MKA Konquest. He has a lot of potential of being a much more awesome character, especially with his ties to Edenia and being the good son of Argus. He would be a great fit for another hero rather than Liu Kang or Kung Lao. His voice fits and I love his attitude as well.

Daegon has just as much potential as Taven does, however, we need more hero characters rather than the main ones and Taven would fit that role perfectly with more development.

The idea of giving one point to Taven or Daegon is too horrible lol...

I don't want them to appear in any future MK game.
