Ferra/Torr gets my vote. I really need a rest from Johnny. But!!! the ending from him in MK9 was very promising. Ferra/Torr makes the cut because they are grabbler and i really love playing with grabblers. I also love the look of them :)

Although I love Johnny Cage I didin ́t like how he was portrayed since MK2. Ferra/Torr gets my vote

I was really hoping to see Johnny become the new "Liu Kang" so to speak, and I honestly thought they were setting him up for that after I saw his MK9 ending (since some arcade endings wind up being semi-canonical). He still could be, I suppose, since info on MKX's storyline is so scarce atm.

Anyway, yeah, Cage all the way.

Cage... i dont know enough about Ferra/Torr to vote for them over someone like Johnny.

I know nothing about Ferra/Torr, but I do know that he looks 100% better than Johnny Cage, also he's a monsterous duo, while Johnny Cage just looks human with glasses on.

I do not dislike Johnny as much as Sonya, but still hne's only a human. And humans are silly wabbits tee hee hee

Shao Kahn's a solid performer, but the times don't really favor him. There's a groundswell to move on from the iconic boss, and going with that flow is a strong cult following for Rain. Rain was DLC in the last game. That should help bump his numbers a little as people look for a main roster upgrade. Should be an interesting battle. Not the only one, either.

With all the assumptions about the MK-MK3 staples, people have really overlooked the intrigue of tomorrow's match. Shinnok has had a massive swell of support in the build to MKX. Tanya lost a lot of steam once MKX revealed it wasn't a straight MK4 mulligan -- but interest in Shinnok isn't fading as fast. He's also up against a much softer opponent. Reptile has been a notorious under achiever in previous events (contrary to ninja theory). He's lost a lot of respect the more he's been a lowly minion. 2011 didn't do him many favors. More attention from the masses and hopes for MKX might help, but Shinnok looks the best he has in a while. Shinnok beat Kabal who, before Round 1, was top 15. That's a big ripple in the ranks!

Fujin/Sonya's another interesting one. The female characters have a knack for attracting the organized nutjobs and obsessive fans, but again, Fujin has the cult of absence, post-2011 MK4 revisitation, and a role as response to a vote of no confidence in Raiden. The winds of change are blowing, and we know we've got Cassie to take some shine off Sonya.

Quan Chi/Smoke looks predictable on the surface, but time is healing some of the wounds of Quan Chi's omnipresence. Smoke was a controversial winner, last year, too. Could be a dark horse result.

There are a few other matches that should at least get interesting numbers.
If more fans took a sports/competitive mentality they'd probably get a bit more out of it. The devil's in the details. We saw Havik take 48 from Cyrax, Tanya take 41 from Kitana. Those are pretty big shifts. Some wins are the shifts in numbers, liking and seeking improvement. It's unreasonable and illogical to expect some characters to overwhelm others. It's a tapestry, an ensemble. Liking a character over a more popular option shouldn't have any bearing on your expectations or enjoyment of the overall experience. If it did, you probably wouldn't still be a fan of the games. (Then again, maybe that's why there's so much pointless whining all the time).

I wouldn't say he was judging your opinion. It's a fact that we don't know enough about D'Vorah to judge her or say she rocks/sucks. I personally really like what we've seen so far from her but there's just not enough info for me to say she rocks.
