Sektor is most evil and dangerous than Cyrax,his supernatural appearance is most dangerous because rocket firing and inside and outside teleport for back kick,im playing against him more time on a Trilogy and now on part 9,off course,is most hard for playing.Hsu Hao is interesting,i ̇m not ever play with him,but im watching him on a Deadly Allience,fighting style has combines with wrestler,since is muscular,and he have and something cyber parts on your body,more interesting his weapon,Sun Moon,off course,and his fatality.

Anyways, I vote Sektor because I think he has a future in MKX, and I can't even imagine myself voting for Hsu Hao in this matchup.

I also voted Sektor- he's one of my best guys too. I realized that I actually missed him over the years, and the Scarecrow imho is the best fatality in MK9.

Additionally, I *want* to like Hsu Hao: a super-strong, grappling arch-rival for Jax? Fine idea. Where it falls apart is his ridiculous cybernetic heart gizmo; it might as well have "Punch me here" written across it. One of Sektor's homing rockets fired into that stupid glowing bulls-eye and this fight is over.

Hehe, you'd be surprised of how many people who can actually think for themselves and not just do as they're told.

Point is, Hsu Hao is simply just not that good of a character. Not in design, not in gameplay, not in story... And people don't like him because of those things, NOT just because someone told them not to like him.

Hsu Hao isn't worse than half of the MK characters if you look at him with objectivity. Design, gameplay, story,... He does better than many others. You can't tell ("you" doesn't refers to you especially, but to Hsu Hao haters in general) he's among the worst MK fighters and say that Sareena, Dairou, Fujin the Raiden wannabe, Li Mei and plenty others are better and more interesting characters. That'd just be foolish.

Besides, he was just a "don't adore him, don't hate him" character before Boon and his team decided to make him the black sheep of the franchise. Don't tell me after that that most of Hsu Hao haters think by themselves.

One of my favorite things about Deadly Alliance was how the MK design team finally broke away from the exact same body build for every fighter. After twelve or so years, we FINALLY saw some variations: a fat drunk, a winged vampire, Reptile got a tail, and we got a man-mountain named Hsu Hao. Hey, it was a nice change of pace.

Hsu Hao is hardly legendary, but THE worst MK character...? Come on. There's a Joel Schumacher Robin look-alike in MK4, a Ken Masters look-alike in Deception, and a red, naked-er Mileena in MK9 who bleeds all over the insides of her thighs. And then...

I'd like to corral Ed Boon and Steve Beran and ask why Hsu Hao even got in the game in the first place if they hated him so much.

Ever since I first laid my eyes upon HH, I instantly hated him. Call it what you will, but I dislike this character greatly. Going with Sektor, muh ketchup.

I'm a Hsu Hao fan but my vote goes to Sektor. Sektor is vastly superior and remains one of the most interesting characters in the series.

I remember John Vogel being the most vocal opponent of Hsu Hao, at least on his Armageddon card.

All anyone has to do to defeat him is just punch him in the chest and you're done, it's easier for Sektor because he can just fire a missle and BAM! Hsu Hao is dead.

He's literally the worst MK character. Including Mokap.

Am I foolish to believe that everyone you mentioned is much more interesting than him to me? Hsu Hao is surely not my least-favorite character, but he's definitely one of my most forgettable ones. The reason Hsu Hao didn't grow on me is because the Special Forces characters never excited me in the first place, not because Boon-sama told me so.

Hsu Hao is honestly not as bad as people say. He is honestly one of the few MK characters who's story had an actual ending, even though it cost him his life.

Hsu Hao was LITERALLY a henchman.....nothing more....nothing less. He was given a task, and he did whatever it took to get the job done. Unfortunately his ass got caught and Jax ripped that soulless "heart" right out of his chest.

You can't name one of Hsu Hao's styles "wrestling" and only give him one or two grapples. Now that NRS knows how to do proper grapple characters, maybe Hsu Hao should be given another chance. But as is...nah.
