Well, Ermac is compiled by souls, he can't steal them or control other people's souls as Shang Tsung can.

Anyways, Ermac has my vote. ^^

This is the first long-shot win we've had in a while.

Shang Tsung. Even though I like Ermac more, I thought of backing the underdog. And besides, hearing, "Your soul is mine!" never gets old for me.

How are people picking the glitch over the original villain of MK? Yikes.

In fairness, Ermac has grown in to a really cool character, but Shang Tsung is a freaking sorcerer, he can shape shift in to anyone, he was one half of the Deadly Alliance and he always tends to be one of the more important characters in the main story. Ermac is made up of souls, while Shang Tsung devours them to fuel his dark powers.

I don't see how Ermac wins this, but I perpetually underestimate his popularity. I definitely like him a lot and have voted for him multiple times, but this one kinda confounds me. Oh well.

Let's look at what Shang Tsung as done compared to Ermac, shall we?

-Fucked up in MK1.
-Fucked up in MK2.
-Fucked up in MK3.
-Got owned by Quan Chi in the MKD intro.
-Almost got to the top of Argus' Pyramid, but then Liu Kang said no.
-Got his soul transferred into Sindel.

He's fucked up in every game he's been in except for- Oh wait, he fucked up in MKDA by even trusting Quan Chi in the first place, while Ermac hasn't exactly messed anything up much, the only thing Ermac has messed up is getting his ass kicked by Stryker some how.

Ermac is better than Shang Tsung for these reasons IMO.

Also, Shang had one of the worse MK designs ever in MK3, while Ermac has had definitely some of the best designs.

I love both of them but Ermac getting his butt waxed by Stryker was due to the inanity of the story mode.
Kintaro jobbing to Stryker was far more embarrassing.

Gotta say I thought Shang Tsung was gonna take this one easily. So I voted for Ermac. Bad voting on my part.
