But what I'm assuming you're alluding to is that many people will vote against Sub-Zero (if he makes it) in the finals regardless if it's Shang or Ermac he's facing.

I'd probably agree with that, especially if it's Ermac. A two time winner would be a travesty to so many people on here. Something fun is taken so seriously.

Sub-Zero is one the most popular characters in the game. (Probably top two with Scorpion if we're being honest.) That will never change. It's why I love reading people raging about Sub-Zero and Scorpion's popularity. Screaming into the wind will not change their popularity. Voting on a fan poll will not change their popularity. Ermac or Shang or Noob winning won't change it either. But some people need to feel like they have some kind of control over things and this lets them do so. More power to them.

I voted for Sub-Zero.

It seems to be that almost every one with either a Kitana or Jade signature/icon has left the game.

I think JR will still hang around enough to tell us who he's voting for. The other guy, though, we've probably seen the last of.
Still, even during the Shang/Jade match we barely totaled a page and a half of activity.

I actually hadn't realized I didn't announce my vote for this round. XD

I voted Noob this time, because his overall appearances in the franchise has impressed me more than Sub-Zero has.

Subbie is one of those characters that I like, but I rarely play. I just like his story for the most part. But in MK9, his Cyber Sub-Zero form was INCREDIBLY fun to play as, and I loved that desperate twist in the storyline because funny enough, Smoke as a human in MK9 is another favourite of mine. So if it was up to me, Sub-Zero would continue to be a cyborg ninja.

Alas, with MKX, it is apparent he is not. And I actually quite dislike Subbie's new looks in MKX.

As for Noob, I both like his story, looks and gameplay in any game he's been in, and he really impressed me in MK9. I also LOVE the whole concept of controlling shadows and having the power of shadows. ^^

So Noob's got my vote. ^^
