Wow, i can't believe how many people are pissed about this. What's the difference if MK people are fighting comic characters. It's all SURREAL to begin with. I think this idea is great. It will show a more CREATIVE side from midway. Yes the 90's were great for when MK started. But not everything is gonna remain the same. It's like a trend.

i must say, after getting a heartattack Sub Zero still looks amazing, but i cant believe that im gonna play a game with crappy DC characters cause thats what they are.
Even if they would join fatality's and the game looks amazing, damn it i refuse to play it.

Exactly. And DC is badass. People just form their opinions around the shows. Batman vs. Sub-zero, and a new fighting engine is enough for me.

How bad can it be? It's most likely not canon(If it is, I am done with MK) and if there are fatalities, its going to be badass....don't worry about it.

I have agree with the feeling that this was hoped to be the rebirth of the franchise as something new and darker. A crossover gimmick strikes me as neither. The only thing that can salvage this debacle in my eyes is if they don't try to make a story for it and just let it be this little goofy game for fun until they make the REAL MK8.

Unfortunately, I think this'll be the third strike for a lot of fans.

I can deal with Batman. And probably Joker too. I won't lie. I love batman. And subs and scorps are in. So thats potentially the 4 coolest characters of all time in one game, which i can get down on.


But if you take away MK's foundation, they WILL ruin it.
