I could name a million things the WWE has done right latly.

Benoit and Guerrero Holding the Heavyweight Titles

Undertaker coming back as the deadman with Paul bearer

Making Triple H tap

the re-draft

Storylines that are actually entertaining

..just to name a few

I don't know about you but the WWE has been on a role latly, everything right now is going good.

as for the draft, aslong as Benoit, Eddie and Cena arn't strip from their titles, and kane and Undertaker both make it to SmackDown!, than I'am happy.

Ok, here's all the news that I found today:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Details On Kurt Angle's Serious Injury:

Kurt Angle recently informed WWE that he is once again feeling numbness in his fingers, which is believed to be caused by his surgically repaired neck. Many in the company aren't very optimistic about the injury, since it's expected that tests will reveal that he will need to undergo yet another surgical procedure.

The situation is being taken very serious, as most believe that if Angle undergoes surgery again, there's a strong possibility that he'll be forced to retire.

Those close to Angle have said that he hasn't been his usual happy self lately, with the threat of his wrestling career coming to an end taking its toll on him emotionally.

Whether or not Angle will be forced to have surgery again should be known within the next few days.

Reason Behind Draft Lottery; Smackdown Talent Upset:

The idea of the draft lottery was conceived as a way to hide the fact that WWE will be losing or already have lost several of their top stars. WWE will not have Goldberg, The Rock, or Brock Lesnar anytime soon; Mick Foley's not going to be wrestling a full schedule; Kurt Angle will be missing some time due to his injury; and Triple H will be leaving for a while to shoot another movie. Thus, WWE has to make some roster changes in order to make the holes seem less obvious. Some were very excited to hear the news, since the company will most definitely be elevating a few mid-card wrestlers, due to the fact that there aren't too many established main event stars left.

Some of the Smackdown superstars, who were in Manchester last night for a house show, were upset with the way in which they found out about the roster changes. Most of the talent had no idea this was taking place, and some found out via telephone from their friends and family who were calling to ask about the storyline.

Eddie Guerrero's Title Run, Wrestlers Vocal About Brock Lesnar, Note On Chavo Guerrero Sr:

Since joining the company, Chavo Guerrero Sr. has become one of the more well liked people in the locker room by providing a comical relief with his sense of humor.

Now that WWE has made Brock Lesnar's departure public, several of the other wrestlers have become very vocal about how they felt about Lesnar while he was with the company. One wrestlers was even quoted as saying, "He's not a team player at all. No one likes him. He's a jackass. He's not very social. He's not one of the boys. How you see him on TV is pretty much how he is in real life."

Eddie Guerrero is not only leading the Smackdown brand as their champion, but he's also started to get strong support from those in the locker room. One wrestler was quoted as saying, "Eddie represents this company well. He's great. Houses are up. We had two sellouts recently, something that didn't happen when Brock was headlining as champion.People are chanting Eddie's name before shows. He's a phenomenal champion for us. Eddie eats, talks, and sits with us. If anyone deserves his success, it's him." In addition to Guerrero's growing popularity with the other superstars, attendance has been up since he won the championship.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's all the news I could find today. Smackdown should be not to bad this week.

Goldberg belonged in the WWE and will likely be back once filming and promoting of his movie are through, and the WWE can find a way to bring him back into the picture.

Yes it is a tragedy that Crash Holly died, he was very comical in the WWE. I wish that at Mania the WWE would have done a nice tribute to those superstars that died last year, being there was so many, but I guess with everything else going on that night, they just didn't have time.

The difference then was that Vince and Flair got to choose then and their who they wanted on their shows. This time it's a lottery, and since loterry is used to describe a random selection, this may be just that. And I'd like to believe that the selections were not pre-made, but will actually be made on RAW, live, and where anything can happen.

How much of a discace will it be if Benoit and Eddie happens to be stripped from their titles because of the lottery. that would be the biggest bullshit ever.

All the bigger title contenders leaving means more of the mid carders getting a push. There was a different rivalry every month. I remember when they had Bubba Ray as the #1 contender. That was crap. But they have better athletes now so I wouldn't mind seeing guys like A-Train & Test getting a push. Also if they're gonna have a cruiserweight title they might as well put all the ones that won't have a shot at the US or Intercontinental title on one show. Guys like Spike & Hurricane were wasted on Raw.

Again, it's called a "Lotery" which means the results can't be pre-determined otherwise what would be the point. As for any champs, I seriously doubt anyone will be stripped of his/her title, unless of course they're either Raw or SD tag champs, those are the likely ecceptions.

Jus cause its called a "lottery", that doesnt mean it cannot be predetermined. I hope ur rite, but im still skeptical.

Yeah, I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Steve Austin had the following to say about Lesnar's WWE departure:

"The guy decided to make a change in his life. Why is that a mistake? That's not a mistake. He's living his life the way he wants to live it. I back him 100 percent. Whatever he does, maybe he'll have success at it - or whatever happens - but I think the way Brock left, he left the opportunity wide open for him to come back. If he chooses to come back, I believe we've got a spot for him, and I believe he and Vince McMahon are on good terms. You see a lot of people leave and come back."

Some news on Lesnar:

Brock Lesnar informed Vince McMahon of his decision to leave WWE two weeks ago. Vince then told Lesnar to take a week and think about it. When Brock still had his heart set on leaving the next week, Vince OKed it. Brock was set to beat Goldberg at WrestleMania, but WWE changed the finish to Goldberg winning even though Goldberg was also leaving. The reason for this was because WWE was apparently "angrier at Brock."

Brock and girlfriend Sable actually broke up the week before WrestleMania but have since worked things out and are back together. For those who keep emailing us asking about Brock's former fiancée Nicole and his little daughter, that is another reason why he left WWE. There had been some personal issues at his home in Minnesota over the last several months which led to Brock and Nicole splitting.

Brock was said to be very embarrassed and "pissed off" at the reaction he got from the MSG crowd during his match. He left the building quickly after the bout and did not attend the post-WMXX party.

Brock's friends seem to believe that the whole NFL thing was more or less just an excuse for Brock to leave. Brock has apparently been fed up with the people in wrestling as well as all the games. (Torch)

See ya later Brock.

Hmmmmm.... That whole NFL thing felt strange(at least to me), eventhough we all kinda subcribed to it.

I guess it's easy for those people who heckled him at MSG to assume whatever with the prevailing 'rumor' already in mind. However, it's another when a more clear explination comes out. Some of those people who found out the actual reason why Brock left should feel a bit stupid right about now.

It makes sense to throw out a false trail to protect the aninimity of one's personal life from the general public. The business gets to everyone. Ask Bret Heart, Austin, Hall, Nash, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan. It kinda takes someone with tough skin to weather the business aspect of professional wrestling and especially working for Vince.

Hope Brock finds peace wherever the next road he takes leads him.

BTW! When did Sable leave her husband! wow wow WOW!

The MSG crowd had no remorse for him or Goldberg. As much as I dont like the way he left, it just wont be the same without him. He could deffinitly whoop some ass. I wonder how WWE will fill the gap........

I'm 100% sure that the lottery has already or will be pre determined. I predict that The Dudleyz, WGTT, and Christian/Trish, and Undertaker and Kane will be on the same show. I also think that they should put HHH and Kurt Angle on the same show, THe Rock should go to Smackdown, because it was named after his catchphrase, Evolution should be split up, and every single cruiserweight should all be on the same show.

Sounds good. Althought the Rock is leaving again, so he prably wont be on that much longer. I like the idea of all the cruiserweights bein on the same show, but there may be too many for that. Guess we'll have to wait.....

Goldberg's already been in two movies, "Universal Soldier: The Return" and 'Looney Toons: Back In Action', now is going to be starring in 'Santa's Slay' a horror/comedy where he plays Santa. Trips is in "Blade 3: Trinity' and I'm not sure what else.

I didn't find any news worth posting today, so I'll try tomorrow.smile
