I like that better than HHH retaining the title.....

Yeah, I like that also, it makes sense. Ok, here's some tidbits of news I found. My news source is TWNPNews.com:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rumors continue to circulate that Bill Goldberg may indeed return to the WWE instead of taking a break from action and the main reason behind that is Steve Austin. Steve Austin and Bill Goldberg have apparently formed a strong relationship in Goldberg's short stint in the WWE. Austin is pushing hard for Goldberg to return to WWE and also has become a medium between Goldberg and WWE Management.

As of right now, there has been no official word on whether or not Goldberg is close to reaching a new agreement or whether he is done for good, but tonight's outcome of his match should speak volumes about his future in the WWE.

According to BlackJack Brown, Goldberg is now 'likely' to stay with WWE because of his new found friendship with Steve Austin, something that Keith reported earlier. To update on the matter, it seems that WWE are frantically planning how to get Goldberg back into the title picture while moving Lesnar out of the mix.

It is rumored that Goldberg will be victorious tonight and move to SmackDown! to begin a feud for the SmackDown! championship with Kurt Angle. It makes sense to book Goldberg as the number one face in the company if he does say.

Taker Not Coming Back As Dead Man?; WWE HOF News:

On WWE.com, one of the main 3 featured stories pictures Kane vs. Undertaker promoting WrestleMania XX. In the picture, Undertaker is shown as "The American Bad Ass" character. Still, he's scheduled to come back with the original "Dead Man" look this Sunday on pay-per view.

"Superstar" Billy Graham was hospitalized all day yesterday at Mt. Siani Hospital in New York according to WrestlingObserver.com. He was released late last night and is expected to be at the Hall of Fame banquet today.

Major Heel Turn At WMXX?; More WMXX Spoilers Inside(Don't read if you want to be surprised!):

The original plan for the Big Show-John Cena match at WMXX was for a title change. If you look at the SmackDown! roster following WMXX, The Big Show is one of the most valuable people with his size. Although the original plan called for a change, that may have 'changed' again.
The Undertaker's streak will not end tomorrow night. His return should also be accompanied by Paul Bearer.

One source backstage described the Rock & Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair, Randy Orton & Batista match as 'expect the unexpected'.

The Eddy Guerrero-Kurt Angle house show matches have been lackluster. Reports we have received have said the match has had several missed spots and hasn't been as good as everyone would expect.

As of last check, WWE still hadn't decide on who to put over in the Lesnar-Goldberg match. The feeling amongst most backstage is that with both leaving, Austin will play a major part in the match, possibly with stunners to both men. If they go for the clean pin, Goldberg would be the most favored to go over due to the fact that Lesnar has lost huge WWE PPV caliber matches before and people remember Goldberg's losses. As we just said though, a decision had not been made as of last check.

The plan was for Benoit to win the World title at WMXX but don't put your money on that just yet. We've got HBK and Triple H involved in this match as well, remember?

Possible WMXX *SPOILER* + Confirmed SD! Main-Event:

Thanks to Jay for the following:
While I was watching Smackdown! last night, during commercials, they advertised the Smackdown! event for March 16th in Boston, MA(I live in MA, that's why I got this commercial).

They announced that Eddie Guerrero would take on Kurt Angle in what they called "Wrestle Mania reVenge". Now my guess is, this means Kurt Angle will be walking out of Wrestle Mania with the title, seeing as how they advertised it like it would be "reVenge" for Eddie Guerrero.

I can't say I can guarantee that Kurt Angle will be walking out of Wrestle Mania as champion, but from the way they advertised it, it seems like that's gonna happen.

Also, I'd say that's about 100% confirmation for Angle vs Eddie on Smackdown! next week, other wise it'd be false advertisement.

Paul Bearer Returning Tomorrow Night @ WM XX?; HHH/Benoit & More:

At recent house shows leading up to tomorrow night’s WrestleMania PPV, the main events have mostly featured Triple H against Chris Benoit. Those within the company have spoken very positively of the quality of the matches, and individual performances from the two. They’re also expecting this Sunday’s match to be quite a match, as Shawn Michael’s is being added to the mix.

Paul Bearer, the Undertaker’s former Manager, has been publically hinting that he would re-unite with the Undertaker at WrestleMania XX. Those within the lockeroom have stated that they’d be very surprised if this were to happen since he was extremely outspoken against the WWE after he was released.

Steve Austin will be the Voice of Ozzfest this year and will be doing all radio and TV commercial voice overs. Of the request of Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, Austin was chosen to do the voice overs.

Nothing yet, they keep 'looking' for him in the back, but the match hasn't happened yet.

So far:

John Cena won the US Title
Booker T and RVD kept the belts
Trish an Christian beat Y2J
Evolution beat Rock n Sock
Trish/Sable beat Jackie/My Wife

No not yet, right now it's Goldberg vs Lensar with the crowd SCREAMING "You sold out! You sold out!" and Lawler has admitted Brock is leaving.

Aside from what I posted above, Chavo has also kept his belt.

the crowd is really mixed tonight..first they cheered goldberg, and kinda bood him when he speared brock...then the entire crowd started chanting "na na na na hey hey hey goodbye"..lol. they must think that hes leaving.

im pissed that austin stunned goldberg though.
I'm glad Golberg won. I've always seen Lesnar as McMahon's Goldberg.

Damn, I cant believe what they did to the Undertaker, all that hype for nothing, at least Paul Bearer came back, but UT wore the same clothes he wore when he was buried.

I think that was the point. If he was buried in those clothes, wouldn't it make sense that he'd still be wearing them straight from the grave? I think the idea was that in the weeks before Wrestlemania, his "spirit" was causing the paranorma around Kane, and at Wrestlemania they finally brought him back. That's why he was wearing the same clothes, he was just brought back from the "ground", so to say.

I also doubt the hype was about what he was going to wear. It was about him returning to his former role and taking out Kane, looking like he did fresh from that mound of dirt. So really, we got what we were hoping for, Tombstone, rolled-back eyes and all.

Also, his hair isn't gonna grow shoulder-length in 4 months, give that a break.

taker ws a big dissapointment.

he acted oldschool, but it just want the same.

all in all, this wasnt a good ppv at all. you think wmxx would have been great, but it was ok as far as ppv goes. crappy matches...crappy crowd...undertaker over hyped for nuthin...and i bet hhh still has the belt b4 the nights over..even if im wrong on that, wm sucked in my view. molly is bald, trish truned heel?..at least goldberg won...but then austin stuns him?.....this wm want about the fans...it was about hype and $$$$$. fuck you vince.

out of all 20 wm, this is one goes on the bottom of my list, for damn sure.

I gotta agree with that Scorpio. So far only one belt changed hands, that sucks. Hopefully HHH loses the damn belt once and for all, I knew this WM was overhyped, I predict the Raw and Smackdown ratings to take the biggest plunge in history. Only one title change? C'mon.

It takes about 5-10 minutes to change clothes. It takes 10 seconds to put on a coat and hat. I doubt Taker's focus after resurrecting would have been how he looks, much less going after Kane.
