the Undertaker is confirmed to face CM Punk at WrestleMania.



Undertaker is expected to return shortly, possibly as soon as RAW this Monday night. Punk's promo this past Monday where he referred to himself as an "icon" was to set the stage for the match.

He worked a house show last weekend in Texas in which he teamed with Sheamus for a tag team match. No doubt trying to work off the rust.

Paul Bearer passes away




WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer. Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years.

Our deepest condolences go out to Moody’s family, friends and fans.

RIP Paul Bearer

Remember first time I saw this guy was with Undertaker on kid show in UK, I was scared (was very young at the time and didn't know Undertaker was wrestler). Paul did his thing then Undertaker look at TV presenter and guy pass out. Paul turn to TV and said tune in tomorrow. I was so scared because I didn't know what happened.

Quite sad to think he won't do one more terrible (but somehow awesome) return with Kane or Taker'.

I'd like to know what he passed from, I didn't even know he had any health issues of that was the case, or perhaps it was just a heart attack

so far reports from dirtsheets say he was in the hospital for several days. he also lost alot of weight from what i heard also

those same dirtsheets are reporting that at the recent gathering of the Cauliflower Ear club, he had been experiencing breathing/respitory issues and that he'd had a blood clot. damn thing's will get ya every time

After news broke Tuesday evening that Bill Moody, famously known as Paul Bearer, had passed away, there was a push among some WWE circles to posthumously induct the legendary manager into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
Bearer addressed the topic to Chris Yandek of CY Interview in an interview in January, stating, "I know that I will [be in the WWE Hall of Fame]. So that's all I need to know. Whether it's next year or whether it's five years from now, I know the time's coming. ... I've been very, very blessed in professional wrestling because I'm just a Alabama kid, from the Alabama Gulf Coast that grew up watching local territory days wrestling. ... I have been all around the world. I performed in all 50 states, 28 countries and I got a paycheck every week."

Don't know of anyone here can confirm this, but a friend of mine told me tht he read online that rumor had it, Taker and the WWE have something planned to honor Paul Bearer at Wrestlemania after Takers match with Punk

i didnt see anything on that but if thats true thats great

It should just be something simple like Taker being in the ring, the lights cut out, lights come back on (whether full lighting or just dark purple lighting) and the urn is just sitting in the ring with Taker nowhere to be found.

When he mentioned to one company official that he tore his good knee up about a week ago, it was brought up that he should consider retiring. While Rey avoided surgery this time, he is one major injury away from having to need a complete knee replacement. Rey currently has about one year left on his contract.

Aha, that's a riot. Taker was always going to win, but now with Paul Bearer's death there IS NO WAY IN HELL that Taker is losing.
