It's funny because the IWC (Internet Wrestling Community) only likes people who aren't being pushed to the moon. Once Ziggler is pushed everyone will realize he is overrated and stop caring about him and they will begin to wish he would leave or something of the sort.

Rules of the IWC:
- When someone gets pushed to quickly after squashing people (or they think it is too quick [ex. Ryback]) they hate the person and try to make every joke they can even when the topic of discussion is not related to that person

I actually believe in this one, despite this being a negative set of rules. Not the making a joke part, but the hating a person pushed too fast. In my very humble opinion, a little build up to a feud is better than having a dude pummel literal nobodies, face a couple glorified jobbers, then get shoved into the main event. All because he has "the look". And yes, i'm talking about Ryback. And you can make the argument that he's over, but the reaction at Survivor Series says otherwise. He cam out to nothing. Not cheers, not boos...Nothing. I think they just need to take the Goldberg approach and have him crush the midcard, THEN move him up.

You mean he's the BEST overseller. If he was the worst overseller, he wouldn't be overselling much.

I liked it. Both Elimination matches were very cool, and Dolph became a true main event star by pinning Randy Orton clean in the middle of the ring.
The triple threat was fun too, and we got to see the debut of Rollins and Ambrose.

Agreed, love it all

No, I mean worst overseller, and I mean that in the context that because of it his in-ring work is utterly comical, which it never should be. He's the best AT overselling, yea, but to say he's the best overseller (and spin it positively) is like saying that AIDS is the best disease.

Keep in mind, however, that you actually CAN make overselling look good. The Rock made a living off of that during his feuds with Austin. Michaels walked that line as well sometimes. So did Flair. The difference is that they knew how to do it without making it look obvious (exception being a select few times when Rock took Stunners). Ziggler just ragdolls everything and it looks completely retarded. He's an embarrassment to fans like me, who have been watching since pre-Attitude Era, when the quality of the wrestling was light years ahead of what it is now, even among the jobbers.

If I were working with him and he did that shit, I'd go stiff on him. If he's going to make it look bad, then I'm going to make it feel bad. Not to mention that on the mic, he's average at best. Apart from berating AJ last week, he hasn't cut many good promos in recent memory.

There were even multiple botches in his match with Cena tonight. It's very rare that you can say that John Cena carried his opponent through a match, but that's precisely what happened tonight.

I was considering buying a ticket, as it's about an hour away from me, but I'd rather catch the free stream from either my house or a friend's.

Well with the change of:

Punk Vs Ryback

Becoming

Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Ryback Vs The Shield in a 6-Man-Tag TLC match

Sounds pretty interesting.

Agreed. And I for one have never wanted Cena to lose a match then I have when I found out it would be Cena/Ziggler in a ladder match for Zigglers MITB briefcase

Cena shouldn't win because he doesn't need the briefcase to get a title shot at his current status. Though I do believe Ziggler is highly overrated.

It's a nice enough alternative to a perplexing main event -- Ryback never had a lot of business going anywhere near ladders and doesn't need to keep doing the job, month over month -- but damned if this doesn't just continue to feel like the usual inconsistent, clumsy booking.

Barring a late change on one of the weeklys, they've already bumped the tag titles from a PPV again! How many months of legitimate rebuilding was that? Could be a PTP interference, or something to keep it cooking, but they had better options.

They could've saved themselves a lot of trouble if they'd just followed the damn thing to its logical conclusion. All they had to do was put Ryback in a handicap table match with The Shield and everyone could've come out smiling. Ryback gets a much needed win, Punk gets to very naturally side-step for an injury time-out, and if they wanna work with the Shield, they can palm off a table loss easy enough. Especially if he only has to put one of them through. Meanwhile, PTP could be getting a tag title shot and everyone could keep giving a crap about those belts.

Basic storytelling, basic booking. Two well built matches instead of one.

Oh I agree with you on both fronts, but Ziggler does need a win or he'll return to medioric hell

What I didn't like about the main event was that despite Dolph winning, because it was AJ's heel turn on Cena, it was all about AJ/Cena and not Dolph. And of course, the last shot of the night was Cena, standing fine and dandy, grinning. God I hate that so much, why can't he just sell a little? He just lost a ladder match after taking a bump from the ladder, while getting betrayed by a girl he likes, thus losing his chance at revenge on Dolph and a guaranteed shot at the world title. Would it kill him to NOT GRIN?!

pretty much this.

It lost all meaning during Swagger's reign. A title unification match at Mania would be awesome.

I thought it was great match. It was like watching WWF again. It got biggest pop during whole PPV. The Shield could be one of best thing happen to WWE if they Vince doesn't fuck it up

I love everything about The Shield. Their entrance music is great in my opinion and all 3 of them play their role flawlessly. I love during their entrance how Roman is on his own while Rollins and Ambrose are together because it really shows Roman as the powerhouse of the group. Ambrose is magic on the mic and Rollins is great all around as well.

So, Punk vs. Cena at Mania for that if Punk retains at RR?

This, his gimmick is stale and if anything it seems he's losing more fans instead of winning anyone over, he's hopefully not turning into the "Triple H" of this gen

Here match you guys might like
ICW REWIND: The Infamous Glasgow Street Fight - Fear & Loathing 4

Give you wee bit of back story. Original main event was ICW Heavyweight Championship Vs. Ownership Of ICW between James Scott and B.T Gunn but match before main event , Jester and Whiplash broke the ring. Mark Dallas (owner of ICW) made the most of a bad situation created new main event on the spot. Glasgow Street Fight , 2 teams of 3, fall count anywhere, anything goes. Best bit was police riot van showing up after match (That wasn't kayfabe, someone outside thought they were fighting for real)

Well the tickets I wanted for the Rumble are gone and now we have to settle for upper level tickets. Shit.

Does anyone have any experience sitting in the upper level at the WWE event? Was it still enjoyable?
