I think MVP is the favorite for a few reasons. He is on fire; look at his push over the last few months following the losing streak angle. Virtually no losses, and his victory over Shelton for the title. As you said, there are some people who you know won't win so I won't mention them...
Christian: Vince hates him. He's not going to get any respect unless Vince has a change of heart or Christian remains with the company until he dies.
CM Punk: Won last time. He's not Edge, and I really don't think they will give him another shot at this right now.
Kane: As I said... he just has next to no credibility in big matches. He's passed his prime now anyway, and he just doesn't want to be pushed. Really a no win situation.
So that leaves MVP as the "biggest" of the stars of the guys left. It just makes a lot of sense to me.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense for him to be the favorite, I'm saying it's sad considering the first money in the bank practically consisted of top stars only.
It almost feels like the briefcase should have an IC or US title shot instead of a world title shot.

I don't understand how Vince can hate Christian and yet bring him back to WWE by offering him more money than TNA.

Vince is a business man and he does what's best for the business in his eyes.
I don't think he really liked Eric Bischoff but he hired him for the buisness and also to cause controversy.

Two different situations: Vince hired Bischoff because it would be controversial and I'm sure because he had faith in his abilities as a performer.
He brought Christian back but what's going around is that he doesn't even think Christian is all that good.

I would have to agree with everyone MVP looks like a good candidate to win MITB . I would like to see CM Punk win it again but they booked his title reign pretty weak so I'm not so sure about him winning.
I actually can't wait to see Jeff and Matt Hardy go at it that should be a great match. And of course Taker vs HBK The Streak against The Showstopper . And the fact that Undertaker has never beaten Shawn you could call it Streak vs Streak .
Not a hole lot going on this WrestleMania but those matches alone are worth the buy for me.
And as far as the Smackdown main-event Edge V Big Show V Cena well
I think it will come down to Edge or Show. I don't hate John Cena I just don't think he should be Champion. Actually I think someone new should be Worlds Champion .
And Triple H vs Orton I liked the build up to the match it just seems like WWE can't think of anything new.
And the Jericho match well
And the Diva Battle Royal . I'm just interested to see who they bring back. Im betting on sunny I would say Sable but I doubt it Lita or Trish I don't think so who knows.
And JBL Vs Rey just seemed rushed to fill a spot .
All in all I think WWE needs to create new superstars and let the Veterans step back and give new people a chance. You can only do the same match over and over till it gets stale. I.E. Randy vs Hunter or Cena vs Edge.

Yea in WCW he was in the n.W.o his nickname was Rodzilla. It was built up as Hogan and Rodman vs DDP and Jay Leno I believe. I don't remember how long it lasted but yeah he did wrestle.

I was mainly referring to how it reminds me of the golden age of wrestling, where things weren't taken so seriously and things were purposely cheesy. I miss the "fun" of the old style of pro wrestling.

April fools?
also WWELegends is a pretty cra* game.
the roster is fun and the chain moves are pretty good aswell, but everything is just way too dumbed down.
I feel like i dont have full control of my character.
Importing the SVR09 roster is a nice touch though...

The four Divas announced for the battle royal are Torrie Wilson, Victoria, Molly Holly and Sunny. As a result, three spots are left in the match.
- Jeff Jarrett has been pursuing to sign Torrie Wilson to TNA since her departure from WWE in spring 2008. Gail Kim also tried to convince Wilson to join the company back when she was still with TNA.
Torrie has never gave a definite answer on if she would or would not sign with TNA in past interviews. Torrie and Jeff have a good relationship but the main reason she has stayed away from wrestling is to stay focus on her clothing store in Texas.
Inside sources feel that WrestleMania 25 has not generated the usual mainstream publicity because longtime promoter Bob Collins is no longer with the company. Collins worked with the local media in the hosted cities for the event to generate publicity.
John Saboor resigned as President of the Central Florida Sports Commission last year to replace Collins as the VP of Special Events. Saboor was instrumental in convincing Vince McMahon to bring WrestleMania 24 to Orlando.
There has not been negative feedback about Saboor's performance, but rather that Collins is missed after working with the company for over two decades. The company's excuse for the lack of media coverage is that Houston is not a major market and there is no celebrity appearance like in the past with Donald Trump and Floyd Mayweather.
ECW World Heavyweight Champion Tazz has left WWE after his contract with the company expired.
Tazz actually gave notice to WWE that he was leaving a few weeks ago, so the departure was his decision. While saying his goodbyes, he was telling people at the WWE TV tapings last night that he needed a break and that it was time to go home and recharge his batteries.
As far as what's next for Tazz, there is always that chance he can come back to WWE one day. As far as we know, he is leaving on good terms. Independent bookings like conventions or signings are a possibility but sources close to Tazz don't expect to see him taking up a bunch of different independent dates because he always seemed against that. Also don't look for Tazz to be wrestling in a ring because of the injuries from his past. Tazz has had tryouts with talk radio stations in the past, so a career in the talk radio field is possible.
You may remember that TNA stars Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin appeared on MTV's Made program, training an openly gay teenage guy how to be a wrestler. TNA is set to work with MTV and Made again and this time a female will be the focus

i own more wrestling dvds than you! not sure the exact number, but it's more than 52 for sure. the new Legends game is good, i hope they make it a regular thing. the draft is always a let down, but who knows, here's hoping Christian to SD or Raw! Royal Rumble was better than NWO. I always look forward to the big 4, and that's it as far as WWE.

Rodman also did some Indy stuff, including a real good match against Curt Hennig, that sadly, not many people will likely see, and he was the winner of Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling, and he was also in the Hogan/Rodman vs DDP/Carl Malone match in WCW

Well, the big weekend is here(no matter how small it seems in comparison to years past). WRESTLEMANIA! I still have fond memories of going over to my grandfather's house where he ordered nearly every wrestling ppv available and watching it with him. So no matter how much the card sucks this year, i'm still pretty excited. Now, onto my predictions.
WWE Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton- My money's on Mr. RKO walking out with the strap, en route to Triple H being traded back to Raw to continue the feud, and eventually end up with the title....again.
World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show- Edge and Cena are the favorites with the Big Show appearing to be nothing more than a mountain for the eventual winner to climb. I'm going with Edge for the win though. Although I wouldn't be suprised to see Cena walk out with the strap.
Intercontinental Champion JBL vs. Rey Mysterio- This match was obviously tossed together at the last minute to get both men on the show. They're building it as a way to get the I.C. title back to it's former glory, but let's be honest, are either men really capable of doing this. The Mysterio marks likely going to be mad at me for lumping him in with JBL as incapable of bringing a title back to it's former glory, but....that's just how I feel. I think JBL is gonna pull this out somehow.
Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy- Jeff vs Matt, brother vs brother, extreme rules.....why can't I get past the notion that this would've been more entertaining if it were Jeff Hardy vs Christian. Anyway, I think Matt is gonna come out of this the winner in an increasingly futile attempt to make Matt Hardy stand out more.
WWE Tag Team Champions vs. World Tag Team Champions (The Miz and Morrison vs Carlito and Primo)- The WWE still has tag team champions!?!?! With the lack of spotlight tag teams have been getting lately, you'd think Eric Bischoff was in charge. Miz and Morrison win.
Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker- THE MATCH at this years mania IMO. It doesn't get any better than what these two have been doing the past month. The build up for the match has been nothing short of stellar. Finally, The Undertaker actually LOOKS, like he won't make it out of mania with his streak in tact. I almost hate to see the build up end. But I know this match is gonna be a classic. Obviously The Undertaker is gonna win here. It wouldn't make much sence otherwise, but the ride getting to this conclusion will be well worth the wait.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match- I must echo Zent's sentiments about the MITB matches as of late. This match used to be stacked to the brim with legit contenders to any title they choose. Now, Mark Henry and Kane are involved....awesome. I hope in my heart that Christian will win this, and take his place on top in the WWE where he belongs. But with Vince's negative view of Captain Charisma, it doesn't look good. My heart is hoping Christian, my head says MVP.
25-Diva Battle Royal- I......DON'T......CARE.
Chris Jericho vs. WWE Legends- Chris Jericho....one of the hottest heels in the biz at this moment....is going to job for a bunch of older gentleman....tragic.
WWE Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton- My money's on Mr. RKO walking out with the strap, en route to Triple H being traded back to Raw to continue the feud, and eventually end up with the title....again.
