You have gotta be shitting me if the Mania main events are Orton vs HHH part 548,908,540 and Edge vs Cena vs Big Show. Taker vs HBK is the only thing worth seeing. Even the MITB has random ass people in it, Mark Henry? Definately not seeing it this year, but I will definately check out Taker vs HBK.

Actually, Flair's pretty much the only person who absolutely will NOT wrestle Jericho at Mania.

Indeed. My money says The King will finally get his chance to shine at wrestlemania. Once again, I like the angle, but just wish they had something else lined up for Jericho other than doing the job to a legend.

Why's that?

health reasons or just the fact that he wrestled last at wrestlemania?

Didnt Jericho call him out for RAW next week?

I could see a Lawler/Jericho match. Seems reasonable.

Yeah like I said before it's gonna be jericho and king it just seems to fit. But what I also think will happend is that they get some of the legends and at the end of the match the all gang up on jericho or something like that. I can see that happening.

Because Ric Flair retired one year ago..

Yeah Jericho called him out- So what? It's still not going to happen.

Flair may go back on his word, but it wont be that soon.

The only way Jericho can job to the King at Mania is if every god damn legend in the world runs in and hits Jericho with their finisher. Otherwise it'll make the former world champ look like shit.

Absolutely, or they would've already announced it.

It won't be Hogan or Austin either.

I hope we're not stuck with Lawler... He really isn't up to par. This is a big feud, Jericho's still in his prime and he deserves a better Mania match and opponent.

lol, did you ever watch King Kong, bro?

Lawler is a perfectly fine opponent for anyone; certainly better than half the other piles of Useless that WWE could give Jericho. Problem is that I don't think today's fans really get Lawler anymore. Not that he's a complex wrestler. But those people are impressively dumb, and too used to watching the likes of Orton and Edge, whose bullshit has conditioned fans to ignore things which should matter (like, you know, logic). Lawler vs Jericho would be a great match that nobody would care about. But actually I'd rather watch a great match that nobody else cares about than a terrible match that people are glued to, so I kind of hope that by some random left field stroke of Vince McMahon 'genius' that he stupidly books it for Mania.
yeah I did and I guess it could happen.

And speaking of legends I downloaded the demo for Legends of WrestleMania. And I gotta say it's really fun and the graphics are really awesome. The controlls are pretty good and take some getting use to but fun all the same. You can play as Hogan or Andre in exhibition or as Austin versus The Rock at Mania15. You have certain objectives to relive the moment which adds a bit of difficulty which is good.

I'll defianetly be buying this and well

That's the Bottom Line LOL

In Jim Ross’ recent blog entry he mentioned that he will be doing an interview for a new DVD titled “Rise and Fall of WCW”, suggesting that a new DVD documentary on WCW is in the works.

I'm def getting this.

You know, I probably already know the answer to this, though for some reason I'm having second thoughts about this Taker vs HBK match...

Will there be like, anything happening if for some strange reason that HBK won the match instead of Taker, ending his winning streak at Mania? Becuase, for some reason I'm having this thought, not a big one though, that they might make this ending possible... but yet again, how many times Taker has been up against someone we thought might actually win instead of Taker himself and was proved wrong?

I'm just asking and like a thought or two because I'm just not quite sure exactly if this could really, really happen. But like I said, it's not a big thought in my head either, I'm sticking to Taker winning but this just came on like a day ago.

you're like the only person so far who's liked the demo, and wants to get the game, besides myself of course! wink

Taker's streak will never end, ESPECIALLY not to Shawn Michaels, someone who doesn't have that many years in the business left, just recieved the honor of retiring Ric Flair a year ago, and who Taker doesn't even like all that much.

If someone does it, it's going to be a strong new guy who Vince has a hell of a lot of faith in. Someone with shitloads of talent. Someone with more potential than Mr. Kennedy had two years ago.

Yeah I got the download to the graphics are good but the controls are terrible and need fixing.

But I like how they do the build up before the match with real time video.
Other than that some of the mannerisms need fixing to for example: When The Rock has the belt and goes on the turnbuckle he doesn't throw the belt over his shoulder.

I downloaded it last night and I gotta admit...I was not impressed at all. The matches felt more like a chore than fun. I love the atmosphere and most of the roster, but damn, I don't think I could actually enjoy the game enough to spend a significant amount of time with it.

They've spent YEARS trying to build a respectable engine in the smackdown series. They've finally got a nice balance that has most fans and press alike, happy, and they dump it all for a mainly context sensitive affair. How hard would it have been to just cut and paste the legends onto the smackdown engine. True it would've been pegged for resting on it's laurels, but at the very least, it would've had something going for it other than nostalgia. DAMN! The first wrestling game since....forever that i'm super psyched about, and they drop the ball, big time.
