Yeah I wonder what role Jeff Jerret will play in this Double J Double E Double F ha ha jk. I like Stings new deal its really cool. I wonder where Big Kev stands on it. Someone mentioned something about the whole story thing with WCW like the New Bloods and Millionaires Club. But I think it could work out better in TNA

i disagree, the last thing TNA needs to do is recycle more ideas from WCW that didn't work then, and wouldn't work now! TNA is so far above that

Just because it didn't work in WCW doesn't mean it won't work in TNA.
Look at the NWO in WCW that went great for them, then look at the NWO in WWE.

my point is that TNA needs to stop recycling ideas from other Feds and come up with something original for once, and i stand by what i said, it wouldn't work in TNA either, there's not enough good talent in TNA to pull of such a storyline

You can't name me one Fed that has not recycled ideas from others.
It constantly happens now and forever will in wrestling.
Plus if these feds didn't copy or recycle wrestling would not be were it is today.

Yeah but there is a limit. Wrestling is by nature cyclical and repetitive, but you still see WWE give you little shocks and surprises every once in a while.

TNA does give it's audience shocks and surprised once in a while. Their idea of "once in a while" just happens to be every four minutes, so nobody cares. God that's a horrible promotion. I wish it would fucking die already.

But I don't see any reason why TNA shouldn't try things that failed in other promotions anyway. I think the New Blood vs Millionares Club was fundementally a solid angle. Old guard vs new guard. In fact it's so fundementally solid that WWE ripped it right off in WWECW, so it can't be that bad of an idea can it.

This market is already so oversaturated in Japan that in my opinion, even if WWE agressively pursues it, they will get crushed and it will be a huge wasted investment. As strong as the WWE brand is, they can't compete with the money of FEG and former DSE affiliates, let alone politcal and criminal power those groups have.

Besides, HUSTLE is already a way better "sports entertainment" product than WWE. It's both more sporting and more entertaining. And if you're Japanese, which most Japanese people coincidently are, then you don't have to speak a foreign language to understand it.

Maryse should have won. Michelle McCool is a good wrestler, but Maryse has that and more. Maryse oozes charisma and has talent. I don't see McCool as having much charisma at all. I just see her dating the Undertaker. Michelle does have talent, but Maryse is just the total package. I really enjoy watching her.

And RAW GM should have chose HBK instead of Jericho. And who does Orton think he is? He'd better learn respect.

if you ask me, McCool shouldn't have become champion in the first place! to have her defeat someone with Natalya's wrestling ability was just plain retarded! and in their matches since, Natalya has always dominated and gotten the pin on McCool! this is why the Diva division is a joke on Smackdown, becaue a Diva like McCool gets the title, while more talented Divas like Maryse and Natalya get the shaft furious

Both of them do not belong in a wrestling ring period. Has anybody else herd or seen the new movie "The Wrestler". I herd it's a great movie here's more info about it. http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2008/09/toronto-less-os.html

The first TNA event in Albany, NY last night was actually something every WWE event in Albany wasn't, and that's FUN.

Matches

I. "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt vs "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal"

Winner:Jay Lethal via flying elbow drop.

II. Roxie & Traci Brooks vs Jacqueline & Awesome Kong

Winners:Jacqueline & Awesome Kong via awesome bomb. (Bad thing about sitting 6 rows behind ringside, you can kill the rumor of Awesome Kong having a dick. *frown*.)

III. Jonny Divine vs "Showtime" Eric Young

Eric Young goes underneath the ring, and out comes Super Eric. Winner:Super Eric via the Celtic Cross. He actually did a descent one.

IV. Monster's Ball Match. Abyss vs Rhino

Other than the obvious chair shots, garbage cans, etc, Abyss put Rhino on one of those suitcases with wheels, and pushed him into the wall.

Winner:Rhino via his 2nd Gore.

*Note, the last 3 matches were all title matches, and none changed hands. I'll just post how they won.

V. X-Division Title Match, Consequences Creed vs. "Mapleleaf Muscle" Petey Williams. (Canadian Destroyer)

VI. Tag Team Title Match, Beer Money Inc. vs Team 3D

Team 3D got a huge pop. A fan at ringside yelled to Brother Ray as he was getting a steel chair, "Hey Bubba, you're a cheater!" Bubba goes to the guy and says "I'm a cheater? You're a fucking homo!" (Not angrily)

James Storm spit beer in D-Von's face and Roode school boyed him for the win.

VII. 4 man elimination TNA Heavyweight Championship Match, Samoe Joe vs Booker T vs Christian Cage vs Kurt Angle

Booker T was eliminated first, don't remember by who or how.

Christian was eliminated next via an Olympic Slam.

And of course Samoa Joe beat Angle via Musclebuster.

After the main event, fans got to get their picture taken with Kurt Angle inside the ring for a mere $20...

I'm on the left in the Undertaker shirt!!!!

I'm super psyched that Jericho won... too bad it didn't make any sense and I wanted a proper Jericho vs Punk world title match. Man that would've rocked so match on a PPV.

You so do not understand anything at all. It's not the GM's decision, it's the WRITERS who WRITE the show. So basically what they write, goes. And ehh, where have you been lately with Orton? Orton is a good Heel, why should he learn fucking respect? He sucks as a face.

As for me, I actually missed the entire PPV event becuase I thought it was next Sunday but when I saw the results I was like, wow. Though, I'm sorry, I can't take Jericho seriously anymore with those new tights he's got. Muck!

I don't care what anyone says about "spotmonkey" or any of that nonsense but...

That Rey/Bourne team was fabulous. They were both on their games, it was a really awesome thing to see. Best tag match in a very long time in WWE.

Legend Armlet thinks wrestling's real.

As for Sydal, personally I've never seen him as a spotmonkey. Both in the WWE and the indies he's always done a great job of balancing psychology with high spots.

well, Zentile was right about CM Punk dropping the belt to Jericho... but I really hated how it came about... didn't really make that much sense for Orton and the other guys to go after Punk (except, maybe to get heat on Orton and obviously have the title change hands)

is Punk really injured or did management just realize 'this was a big fucking mistake and we'll just get the strap off of him ASAP?' I kind of feel bad for him though. It's like they wanted him to fail from the start. Having him feud with JBL? I can't see a more mismatched (stylistically) or boring guy to put in the ring with him.
maybe they're just setting up a Jericho-Punk feud though
oh, and I thought the championship scramble matches were fucking stupid

I think they did Punk a favor getting the title off him (especially considering it didn't really make sense) without having him actually lose to an established star. Which would potentially have been much more heat killing than this.

Re: Sydal. I think think he's like AJ Styles without the suck, when he wants to be. He just doesn't seem to want to be very often unfortunately. In WWE I guess it's understandable that his wrestling would be shady at best, but outside WWE his wrestling just had too much wacky shit and not enough fundemental structure or psychology (especially his Dragon Gate work, oh lawd, but that's DG for you). When it did though he was pretty fucking awesome as far as flyers go. I can't stand watching him at the moment myself but I hope he can develop into a WWE flyer with decent psychology. Plus he makes a great babyface.

Well the arena was like a quarter filled. Just the ringside seats, and like 3 rows of the regular seats were filled. I sat in the 6th row behind ringside. The souvenir stand was near the wall, the end of the ice rink, cuz the local hockey team (Albany River Rats) play at the Times Union Center (the place where the event was.) Like i said before, unlike WWE events, this was actually fun. My cousin's friend (standing in the middle) takes pics and was ringside most of the show. He got his shirt autographed by Traci Brooks & Earl Hebner, you heard me, THE Earl Hebner!
