The whole of WWE is a mistake, sorry if I offend, I'm just stating my opinion, the fact that WWE is still considered "Wrestling" is a joke, a pure disgrace to a great sport.

How people watch it is beyond me, I can't even watch it for 20 minutes without getting disgusted. IT FUCKIN SUCKS. Are some people retarted? Can they not see how much WWE blows. When I watch something called World "Wrestling" Entertainment I expect to see some good wrestling. Not Punch, Punch, Kick, Slam. How many matches does the average Raw or Smackdown have a night? 3? 4? All it is, is LAME ASS STORYLINES, If I wanted to see a fuckin terrible story line for 2 hours I' d watch a bad movie.

Am I getting across to anyone? Do you guys see my point?

Watch this and see if you can still call WWE wrestling.

Im sure ALL of you have heard of those 2 guys, I dont want to come off as a stupid dick who knows nothing, and I'm not saying you guys dont know about wrestling, Im just confused about how people watch WWE.

So I ask a serious question. Why do you guys watch WWE?
I really truly want to know.

Thanks for reading, sorry if I approached this the wrong way.

WWE does suck. It does. That's why I mostly try to watch BattlARTS, NOAH, DDT, NJPW, Fu-ten, GAEA, etc.

But WWE does have some good talent, and they do occassionally hold matches which are actually quite good. It's rare, but they're in there. I just keep an eye out for those matches. But only because it's accessable and it's on television multiple times per week. If I had to go out of my way to watch WWE, then I wouldn't, just like I don't go out of my way to watch any other promotion I feel is poor (TNA, ROH, Mutoh's AJPW, etc).

And seriously, the Marufuji/KENTA match you just linked to is one of the most questionable matches in NOAH's existance, and displays a large part of why Marufuji fucking sucks. That match is so wrought with flaws that it makes me want to punch Marufuji in the face every time I hear people talk about it. I haven't watched much WWE this year but I guarantee that WWE has had half a dozen matches at least as good as that if not better so far this year.

But I think I know where you're coming from because I've been there as a fan. I went through this whole phase of thinking such and such was "great" pro wrestling, and then finding out that I was wrong, and that this other stuff was "great" pro wrestling, and then finding out I was wrong again, and so on. I just watched shitloads of pro wrestling, chewing through different styles and eras. Eventually after watching tons of Billy Robinson, Volk Han, Jumbo Tsuruta, the Destroyer, Akira Maeda, Nobuhiko Takada, Bryan Danielson, Shinya Hashimoto, etc, I finally found out what good wrestling was. And it can potentially occur in almost any promotion to varying degrees. Once I got to that stage I went from "fuck WWE, it's horrible" to "fuck WWE, it's horrible, but it does showcase quality pro wrestling sometimes within it's own style" and I came to appreciate what little good WWE can offer.

I think that if you keep searching and watching different stuff, you might get past your absolute dislike of WWE like I did. I do hate WWE and Vince McMahon especially, but when a pro wrestling match is good, it's good, regardless of what promotion it occurs in.

The WWE has released...

-- Shannon Moore

-- Domino

-- Nunzio

-- James Curtis

-- referee Nick Patrick

About time they got rid of them. Maybe Shannon Moore can join TNA and get a World Title run now.

I'll have to watch that KENTA Marafuji match, because I consider Marafuji to be the best pro wrestler in the entire NOAH roster.

lol?

He can't wrestle any kind of match which doesn't just involve a series of escalating highspots. He can't tell a story whatsoever. Which means that as soon as a big move gets botched in one of his matches, that's it, the match is screwed and everyone loses their heat. It happens over and over again with him. He's a typical flippy retard who pays no attention to actually working or having his wrestling make sense. Which becomes painfully apparent in that match with KENTA where they botch a highspot, lose their heat, then perform a series of like half a dozen completely heatless no sold suplexes on one another where one guy takes one, jumps up, takes his sweet time running around behind the other, delivers the suplex, and they just go on like that. *facepalm*

Plus, his abuse of thrust kicks is stupid, especially when he very obviously misses half of them by a mile and still does that melodramatic fake thigh slapping thing for an 'impact' sound when everyone can see he missed. Ugh. Also he's supposed to have bumped up to heavyweight but he still wrestles like a retarded Toryumon student. His offense is just piss weak and nothing like a heavyweight's should be; nobody wants to see a heavyweight in NOAH doing stupid indyriffic bullshit moves which look like they belong in CZW. If you're going to wrestle like a Jr Heavyweight, BE a Jr Heavyweight. Not a roided up glorified Jr Heavyweight who proceeds his stupid flippy finishers with a bunch of fake looking dropkicks and thrust kicks. On top of that, it's being very generous to even say that his selling is "passable."

Plus... not really a strike against his actual wrestling, but he just can't get over. Akiyama's experiment to book him as the GHC Heavyweight champion bombed so badly that they immediately had to take the title off him after one defense because nobody wanted to see a tiny shitty midget as champion; so poor were the gatesales and such heat did NOAH get from its fans.

If anything I would say Marufuji is the worst wrestler in NOAH.

Well you have far more insight of NOAH than I have, so you are probably right.
I haven't watched many Marafuji matches, I watched his match with Nigel McGuiness which I thought was good for the most part and only suffered due to the general ROH style where they don't sell a ton of moves. I saw a couple of other matches and I didn't like him particularly, until I saw the live NOAH show in the UK, European Navigation 2008. I was in the crowd and he was one of the very, VERY few wrestlers who actually took his sweet time to interact with the crowd, and his match was very good so that's the impression I have of him.

I'll watch that match with KENTA as soon as I can be bothered.
Thank you for the long post by the way.

But about Marufuji, i've seen him number of times in person and in NOAH and what you are saying makes no sense to me at all.
Have you seen him against American Dragon or him teaming up with Kota Ibushi against Kenta and Ishimori those match were fuckin great.

And his match with Kenta the first one for the GHC belt was a 5 star match.
To me there's nothing at all wrong with Marufuji.

And he's nowhere near the worst wrestler on NOAH.

-- Michael Hayes will be taking Freddie Prinze, Jr. under his wing. Prinze, Jr. is slated to work under him on SmackDown. Prinze, Jr.'s hiring was not really a major topic of discussion backstage compared to other mainstream stories involving the company in the past.

Well, on the Bright side, I love Michael PS Hayes...so maybe he can teach Prinze a thing or two...

Also, i missed Smackdown, but read that The Brian Kendrick beat Super Crazy...

Am i the only one who Loves THE Brian Kendricks new Gimmick?

Lets all hope Hayes can keep the spainish jokes to a minimum.

Smackdown sounded like a bust aside from the end when edge just goes ape-shit on everybody. With the undertaker returning, nobody expects edge to win, so hopefully these spots for the last two weeks will make him seem a credible threat to the undertaker.

It doesn't look good for Killer Walter Kowalski.

His wife Theresa just called Bruno to inform him that Killer had a massive heart attack.
Doctors don't expect him to last through the night.

Yeah. I mean he's not ALL bad, he has his moments. He had a lot more of those moments when he was a Jr though. But given the right opponents he can be carried without going too wrong overall, especially in tags, because then he has somebody to bail him out and help bring some kind of direction to his wrestling. But he still does the same stupid offense regardless.

The GHC heavyweight title match? Why? I really liked some of their other matches against each other, including their great jr heavyweight title match, but I can't see how anyone can call that mindless poorly executed spotfest a great match. Although I marked when Marufuji did an Asai moonsault and almost decapitated himself on the guard rail. tongue

That's the match I was talking about those guys made poetry in the ring and gave it their all in that match they had everyone glued to the ring watch them beat the hell out of each other, seeing who would come out on top. That to me is a great match.
