Well, the reason Regal was fired from the GM spot was....*drumroll* Second substance violation! 60 days of no WIlliam Regal! yes, he's an awesome heel GM, I will give him that, but it was funny to watch him take that Mic Check from Kennedy Kennedy. In a move that's supposed to land you flat, Regal tried to fold up like an accordion. grin Funny stuff, imo.

I didn't like the main event as Orton once again ruined it. Why was Regal fired? He did'nt deserve it. Guys like Orton should be fired for his horrible kick in the head. He always likes to injury people. We have seen him more than enough in matches where the WWE title is on the line.

HHH vs Cena would have been much better.

Oh, Regal did deserve it, he was horrible as GM. But I agree with you about Orton. Finally someone else besides me dislikes Orton. Everyone around here seem to be big Edge and Orton ass-kissers, and niether one of them is any good, imho. But whatever. I agree Cena vs. HHH would be better. But seeing Triple H pwn Orton once again would bring a smile to my face

WWE have announced this morning that William Regal has been suspended for 60 days due to his second failure of the company's Wellness Policy.

Damn well then:
Rey Mysterio is scheduled to make his first WWE appearance since his injury at the Saturday, June 14 Raw brand house show at The E-Center of West Valley City in Salt Lake City, Utah. WWE was scheduled to hold a TV taping in the building two days later, but scheduling conflicts caused WWE to make it a mere house show. Mysterio will not be wrestling as this is simply a mere appearance during the show. Also, Cena will be wrestling Umaga, Triple H will be wrestling Randy Orton, and Shawn Michaels will be making a rare house show appearance when he takes on Snitsky.

Last year it was called WWE One Night Stand as well, and no longer featured the ECW theme at all. So, nothing new there.

Man, this is confusing shit. On one hand, you're a total mark for thinking Orton actually injures people with the kick to the head. On the other hand, you say Regal didn't deserve to get fired even though he was a heel who pissed off marks like MkGeek.
Bit of an oxymoron there.

Exactly. IMO two of the best wrestlers today, period. Orton didn't do too well as a babyface the last time, but I'd like to see him try again.
Edge is always excellent. He's no Benoit in the ring, and no HBK on the microphone, but he's a great all rounder, always gets heat, and he seems to be pretty safe and well behaved too.

I'm not sure if I should take offense to that or not grin tongue

Also, with regards to Orton and Edge, I have no use for either one of them, so I laugh at all of you who think they're so "great"

I don't see what's so funny, Edge and Orton are the ones making the money and appearing on TV, and so we get to see more of them.

And don't be offended Geek, you're a half-mark and there's nothing wrong with that!

Yeah, Orton's always kinda seemed awkward as a face. He's got the whole "i'm better than you mentality" down to an artform, and I love him for it. Then again, if this was ten years ago I would've probubly been saying the same thing about the Rock, so you never know.

Dead on about Edge as well. There's no one thing he does perfectly, but the total package is solid to be sure.

lol oh well smile all is well, anyway.

As for AJ... I don't think he's quite the old AJ yet. But I'm really hoping this will lead to his big main event babyface push, and hopefully a world title.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one...As much as i Love TNA, they are crap at pushing there own talent. Just like WCW was for everyone but Goldberg and Sting.

Also, was i the only one that though the WCW Thunder Referance a few weeks back was insulting to WWE itself considering that they have 2 useless shows on the air?

TNA is growing very slowly though. And IMO WWE is dying a slow and agonizing death. Vince built it but I think he is killing it now. Ever since UFC started getting big, wrestling as well as boxing has started dying. I used to love wrestling. But the guys they have now are either getting too old or are crappy(Edge, and Orton). My faves are The Undertaker, Kane, Finley, Sting, and I cant even think of anymore. I liked Benoit, Eddie, the stieners, scott hall, stone cold, the rock, hogan, and most of the 90's wrestlers. Maybe cuz I was younger. But now I very rarely watch it. Its changed too much. And Im into MMA now.

WWE is not dying at all, it's not as strong as it once was, but it is in no way dying, slow or otherwise. As for UFC, it's big yes, but nowhere near the size of wrestling, and I doubt it ever will be. Yes there's a large fanbase there, but come on, I doubt Vince even sweats the UFC, and if he is worried about them, then there's no sign of it, I think WWE draws better ratings and PPV buys than UFC any way. And yes wrestling has changed alot, but c'mon dude, get with the times, things need to change if they're going to survive. Shit WWE hasn't lasted this long by sticking to the same boring formula, and WCW died cause it never knew how to evolve. And boxing is doing fine as well. I think you give MMA way too much hoopla my friend, but whatever

WWE isn't dying at all. Just because it's not the huge spectacle it once was, doesn't mean it's dying, for God's sake.
It's amazing how little credit people usually give the WWE. The WWE is LIGHTYEARS ahead of TNA, and it's not dying not by a long shot.

Dont get me wrong. I didnt say WWE wasnt still big. I said it was dying. Maybe it isnt, but its definately going through a depression of some sort.
Your right about WWE being light years ahead of TNA. TNA is still small. But it is growing pretty fast. WWE started out just as small or smaller than TNA did, but it took them 20 or so years to be as popular as they are today.
Vince is a damn good business man(although a complete asshole). He knows entertainment. But you have to admit the last couple of years hasnt been great for him.
Boxing hasnt been well. UFC is hurting them, but boxing hurts itself the most. Boring fights and boring fight cards, along with a crappy heavyweight class is hurting them. Most MMA fights are entertaining and it doesnt even matter whos fighting. If you havent been to a show your missing out. The raw and real brutality of the sport is beautiful to me.
Wrestling fans love comedy, and somewhat death defying acts(Hardy bros). I love realism and brutality. Thats why Im an MMA guy.
