u seem to really like kane, i use to like him but i dont like him as match now but coincidently his the only guy i have wwe smackdown: here comes the pain with lol

That is the real John Earthquake Tenta. RD the one who runs Wrestlecrap is good friends with him and Mr. Tenta also wrote the forward for RD's Wrestlecrap book. It's very sad that he has cancer, but he still seems to be in good spirits. BTW, I don't know if anyone remembers Dr. Death Steve Williams, he also has a battle to fight. In a recent RAW magazine, JR. mentioned the Dr. has throat cancer.

Character Development News, Faces And Heels Switching Roles:

At several recent RAW and SmackDown! brand house shows, wrestlers have been instructed by road agents that if the crowd is cheering a heel or booing a babyface, they should go with the crowd’s reaction instead of tring to fight it and keep to the conventional script. This was evident at the show in Manchester, England when Edge cut a heel promo before the match and clarifying Ric Flair as the babyface for the match as he has always been a crowd favorite in England.

On RAW a few weeks back from Montreal, Shawn Michaels was kept off camera because the company is pushing him as a face for his Hell in a Cell Match with Triple H at Bad Blood and for obvious reasons, Michaels always gets major heat in Montreal.

Bad Sign For WWE, Big Show Update, & More:

WWE’s Bad Blood in Columbus, OH this weekend still has good seats available. The RAW brand show in Dayton, OH also has good seats available. This is definitely a bad sign for WWE as their top brand’s shows still have good seats that are not sold.

The Big Show was at the Toronto Blue Jays game last night against the Dodgers and threw out the first pitch. He later showed up in the announcer’s booth in the bottom of the fourth inning. He mentioned that he went to college with pitcher Darren Dreifort and catcher Doug Mirabelli and mentioned how he once got knocked down in the dirt getting fooled by one of Dreifort’s curveballs. Show also said that his wife is from Toronto. He was quite funny and the announcers talked about the size of his hands (he wears a size 22 ring) and how when he is at BBQs he has to make sure nobody puts his fingers in a bun.


Hogan/Austin, TNA Confusion, AJ Styles, Fozzy, More:

Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin will be working together for a “Day Of Champions” event on 7/11. The event is put on by a group of people who work with the Special Olympics, and it is apparently a fund raiser of sorts. Also appearing at the show will be Mr. T, Magic Johnson, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Donald Trump, and others.

Fozzy is returning to the stage on 7/5 in Winnipeg, while Chris Jericho is in town for RAW.

Apparently last night at the TNA PPV, in the Kazarian vs. AJ Styles match, they missed the finish. The bell rang, and after the ref held up the count, the music played. They wanting to continue but since the bell rang they just ended it. While this is most likely just a rare mess up by the TNA crew, there could be something more behind it. We will keep you updated on this.

Yeah, I've always liked Kane. I just don't like how the WWE treats him sometimes. That guy is huge, wrestles pretty good for a big man, and has a cool look to him. he should be a fully established Main-Eventer now. he shouldnt be loosing to freakin Eugene, or getting getting his ass handed to him by Shane McMahon, or being put in World title matches just so Benoit could kill sometime till his next big feud. Anyways, Who else thinks that a Stable with Paul Heyman, The Dudleys, RVD, Undertaker and Mordecai would kick ass. They could call it The Ministry of ECW or sometime like that.

Imagine the Undertaker/heyman storyline leads to Paul Heyman Vs Paul Bearer in a "Urn on a Pole Match" at the PPV. The Winner gets control of The Undertaker lol.

i just watched smackdown this week, it was pretty interesting i thought the whole eddie guerrero thing was funny stealing jbl's car and busting it up lol (go eddie), as soon as i heard that the dudly's were getting a new ring entrance and stuff i thought to myself that the undertaker will say yes i mean its pretty obvious

SNAKE_EATER, I've got no idea when the ppv's come out on dvd. It usually varies, sometimes it's like 2 or 3 months after the ppv, or 1 year after the ppv. Just keep your eyes peeled to the stores, and check online. Like your idea for a feud between Orton and Chavo Jr. Too bad it'll likely never happen.

Update on Brock Lesnar/NFL Situation; ESPN Reports:

ESPN SportsCenter did a brief story last night on Brock Lesnar's NFL tryout. During the segment that aired at 10 pm PT/1 am ET, they posted his name about three times. Each time, they spelled it "Brock Lesner." I happened to catch the segment again during the show that aired immediately the next hour, and someone who's a wrestling fan must have pointed it out because they fixed it then. The segment itself didn't tell us much we didn't know already, although they did note that then-Bucs head coach Tony Dungy tried to sign Lesnar out of college.

The Minneapolis Pioneer Press has a pretty detailed article online covering Brock Lesnar’s workout for the Minnesota Vikings, which took place yesterday. Brock ran a 4.75 40-yard dash, which is quick for a defensive lineman. He didn’t do as well with the agility and football drills. He was called a “project with a capital P'' by Scott Studwell, the Vikings' director of college scouting. Studwell added, "He's got physical tools, but he has a long way to go.'' But, even though he is 26, which is late for a guy to come into the NFL, the prevailing feeling is that someone will sign him to a contract.

Triple H Movie Put On Hold; Will Not Leave WWE:

Triple H was scheduled to take time off so he could film his leading role for an upcoming WWE Films production, but that movie is now on hold due to various problems.

This means that Triple H should be available throughout the summer.


Matt Hardy To Possibly Undergo Knee Surgery:

Matt Hardy could need major knee surgery soon due to the fact that a current injury could lead to a torn ligament.

Hardy hyperextended his knee back in early May and then injured it again a few days later. His current injury is labeled as a torn MCL. The plan is to have him rehab it for awhile.

The Madison Square Garden house show on 6/26 has Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a New York street fight and Chris Benoit vs. Kane for the World title. With that said, it means both Triple H and Shawn Michaels should be around until that date. Shawn will be taking several weeks off because his wife is expecting.


WWE Shooting SummerSlam Commercial, More Backstage TNA News:

WWE is shooting a SummerSlam commercial this week in Hollywood. Triple H, Tajiri, Edge, Shelton Benjamin and Batista and several UPW wrestlers will be featured in the commercial.

Jerry Jarrett was back with TNA at both the PPV and Impact! tapings this week. He was at the show keeping the timing under control and working the Gorilla position. Bob Ryder had been filling his spot.

Chad Collyer will be returning to TNA on Wednesday. He is expected to sign a contract.


Loads Of Backstage NWA-TNA News & Notes From This Week:

- Everyone was happy with how Impact! came off last night at the TNA PPV. Word is that Fox Sports also liked the show. TNA feels that the most important thing for them right now is to have Fox Sports like the show so they can get it moved to a better timeslot.

- Shane Douglas continued his new role as an agent yesterday. He helped put together the tag team titles match.

- TNA flew basically their entire crew to the Impact! taping last week. This week, only the guys who will be used on the show will be sent to Orlando.

- None of the wrestlers have complained about the six sided ring yet, and most everyone feels that it makes TNA look innovative and cutting edge.

- TNA is working on improving the look of the Asylum to keep up with Impact!. Laser lights and smoke machines were added recently.

- Due to Christopher Daniels shoulder injury, his program with AJ Styles has been put on hold. Styles will now feud with Kid Kash. The Daniels/Styles program will likely happen once Daniels returns.


Chris Benoit/Edge SummerSlam Update:

The current Chris Benoit/Edge angle could lead to them facing each other in the main event of Summerslam in August. Of course, as with anything, this plan could change if Triple H decides he wants to headline the show against Chris Benoit.

Well i don't really care either way, Benoit has proven himself as a believable main eventer, ever since his days in WCW due to his performances in the ring "The greatest non-champion" deserves to hold the belt a bit longer. Kane also deserves the belt, ever since he held the title a few years ago he has proven that he can do everything, be a face, heel, neutral or romantic (story with Chyna & story with Lita) Through this he has proven himself worthy to hold the belt and be a believable champion. I saw him in Ruthless Aggression in Aust. and he was great!
Really it doesn't matter, I don't care which way it goes.
