Why are you bragging about not paying for it if you don't even get to watch it??? I am going to watch Bad Blood, but not Great American Bash, SD ppv's usually suck. As for HBK, I hope he bloodies Triple H and wins, but I guess I'll have to wait and see.smile

SmackDown Beats RAW, Droz Update:

Last week's edition of SmackDown! came in at a 3.3 rating, defeating the same week's RAW, which drew a 3.2.

Droz recently underwent surgery in his leg, and this is what he had to say in his WWE.com column: "I am now laid up in the hospital with a little more than four weeks to go. Evidently, when the doctor went in, he found the reason why my leg hadn’t been healing. The bone had a very bad infection in it. From what I was told, he had to shave three millimeters of bone off and then sew the muscles back up to close the wound. I also have 21 staples in my leg to keep it closed right now, and I hear that everything looks really good, so hopefully this will be a one-time deal. As for the infection that was in there, it was a kick-ass, top-notch infection, because they now have me on antibiotics for three weeks. So, as of right now, I am going to be laid up in bed for a total of three straight weeks, and then for the last two they will be working me in and out of bed, testing my leg in my wheelchair" (Read the entire article here: WWE.com).

More Backstage Heat On HHH, Big Rock/RAW News:

While not officially confirmed, it is expected that Rock will be at RAW on June 21st. The show will be in Miami, Florida which is Rock's hometown, and Rock revealed on a WWE webcast last week that if he was around at home, he would definately be on the show. There is still some thought that Rock will be at Summerslam this year as well.

There was a lot of talk going around this weekend concerning Triple H. While he worked this Saturday in Boston, he skipped Sunday's Rochester house show, and there is some feeling backstage that the company can and should be using all of the big names that they can for house shows, due to recent business being down. Triple H missing the Rochester event while the rest of the RAW crew worked hard rubbed many people the wrong way, though, with HHH's position he can basically pick and choose when he wants to work.

Mordecai/Taker @ Summerslam, Cena's Rap Album; & More:

There is a strong possibility that Undertaker will wrestle Mordecai at Summerslam this year. On the subject of Mordecai, he is a favorite character of Vince McMahon and will most likely be pushed pretty hard once he improves his ringwork which is said to be subpar at the moment.

From what I've heard, John Cena's transition into a face was fairly easy, as he isn't doing anything differently than when he was a heel. Cena has also just recenlty finished his rap album. There are 30 tracks currently, and once they decide what songs will be on the album a release date will be announced.

Official WWE Raw Preview Post Bad Blood: Who Is Champ?
Thanks to WWE.com for the following:

RAW comes to you this week from the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. It'll kick off less than 24 hours after the conclusion of the huge Bad Blood pay-per-view extravaganza! Feel the fallout from Bad Blood live on RAW this Monday night!

Who will walk in to the Nutter Center as the World Heavyweight Champion? As the Tag Team Champions? As the Women's Champion?

Will Eugene still be undefeated? Will Triple H and Shawn Michaels even make it to Dayton after their Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood?

Last week on RAW, the Lita-Kane situation took an ominous turn. When Kane approached Lita, she said, "I thought you said this was all over." Kane said, "I lied." What will Kane have in store for the raven-haired Diva this week?

Find out on Monday Night RAW at 9/8 CT on Spike TV.

Goldberg/Austin, Bret Hart News, Benoit/Christian:

Chris Benoit and Christian will be the guests this Thursday for Byte This! over at WWE.com.

Reports are stating that Bret Hart will most likely host the DVD that will be coming out about him. There is also still a lot of feeling that he will appear on WWE TV by the end of the year for a one-shot deal to say goodbye and/or get revenge on Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels.

Bill Goldberg's official website has just added a picture of Goldberg and Steve Austin on the set of "Santa's Slay", Goldberg's latest movie. In the picture, Austin is sitting on Goldberg's (with a white beard) lap asking for a Red Rider BB Gun.

The following is an updated card for this Sunday’s Bad Blood PPV:

- Hell In A Cell: Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels.
- World Champion Chris Benoit vs. Kane.
- World Tag Team Champions La Resistance vs. Chris Benoit & Edge.
- Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin.
- Women's Champion Victoria vs. Gail Kim vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus.
- Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko.
- Eugene vs. Jonathan Coachman

The Ultimate Warrior has posted a statement on his website regarding the spread of rumors that he called NWA:TNA looking for work. Details On Brock Lesnar's First NFL Tryout This Week:

I Heard this morning on the local rock radio station here in Minnesota, 93X, that Brock Lesnar will indeed be trying out for the Minnesota Vikings This Friday at their training facility, Winter Park. He will be trying out for a defensive end/back position. Coaches and trainers were said to be skeptical of Lesnar's football playing abilities, but the feelings of many outside the teams inner circle are optimistic due to his obvious power and strength, not to mention the potential of more national coverage for the team due to his signing. We can only wait to see how his tryout goes.

New Miss Jackie Photos, Brock Lesnar's WWE Return, more:

The July issue of SmackDown! Magazine, with Bradshaw on the cover, features an article and brand new pictures of the lovely Miss Jackie.

The Ultimo Dragon has yet to receive his WWE release papers. He is currently living in Mexico.

Brock Lesnar recently stated in the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he is keeping the door open to a possible WWE return. He also stated that his April motorcycle accident was more serious than was originally let on. Lesnar suffered a broken jaw, a fractured left hand, a bruised pelvis, and a pulled groin in the accident. "I am luck to be alive," Lesnar told the newspaper.

WWE Apologizes For Bradshaw's Nazi Salutes In Germany:

WWE has just released the following statement concerning John Bradshaw Layfield's "Nazi Salute" from the 6/5 Smackdown brand show in Munich Germany.

"WWE and John Layfield deeply regret Mr. Layfield's actions in the ring at our event in Munich, and apologize if it has offended or upset our fans. Mr. Layfield has been reprimanded for his actions."

From what I was told, WWE management in Munich basically just told him not to do it again and there was nothing else done about it at that time. He wasn't even fined at the time from what I was told.

But once the story broke in the wrestling media, it became a public matter and WWE had to react. From what I have heard, WWE has already felt some heat over Bradshaw's actions from some of the people that they do business with. I know for a fact that the issue has been raised at CNBC, where Bradshaw works as an on-air analyst, and it would not surprise me to see something arise from that situation.

What Bradshaw did was the sign of a massive dumbass. He should have known better that shit like that wouldn't be appreciated ANYWHERE. Just extremely bad taste. He should go to jail if stuff like that is illegal in the first place. Lord knows, German or not, anyone would've jumped at the chance to beat him for that stunt. I wish Vince would repremand his ass hard for it.

lol, you guys should read this....

-- John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield has been fired by CNBC in the past few hours, after finding out and investigating the “Nazi” incident which occurred on the German leg of WWE’s European tour. More information on said incident can be found on the newsboard a few posts down.

-- CNBC, as I said, investigated the incident and a spokesperson for the company said that they “found his behavior to be offensive, inappropriate and not benefiting anyone associated with our network”.

LOL!, I might like the JBL charater, but this is fuckin hillarious. I remember he was braging about his CNBC deal on his latest column and now he gets fired, hehe. looks like that germany inncodent has come back to bite him in the ass. I wonder if the inncodent is going to be brought up on the SmackDown! taping tonight.

Yeah,if Bradshaw is on Smackdown tonight he's going to flip like Eddie Gurreoro did. Here is more news on Bradshaw:

1Wrestling.com is reporting that John Bradshaw Layfield was overhead at the Smackdown! tapings this afternoon justifying his “Hail Hitler” actions in Germany by saying that he’s a “bad guy”, and that’s what bad guys do.

-- Layfield was said to be very angry about all of the fuss that has been kicked up about the situation and was confused that people would be offended by his actions.

-- Earlier this afternoon Layfield was dumped by CNBC, who recently lured the finance expert away from Fox News. More news on that can be found on the newsboard

Vince McMahon Reacts To JBL's Firing & WWE Superstar Backstage:

-Vince McMahon is reportedly upset at CNBC for taking such swift action against JBL and firing him yesterday. He, however, does not seem to be upset with Bradshaw.

-Chris Candido was suppost to appear in a dark match at Smackdown! last night, but was replaced by Funaki. Candido was to work a match against Carly Colon, whom the WWE is interested in signing. It appears they are not interested in signing Candido though.

Details On Bret Hart & Goldberg Meeting To Clear Their Differences:

Bret Hart and Bill Goldberg recently met at Game Three of the Stanley Cup in Calgary. The meeting took place on May 29th and marked their first conversation in years.

There has been a lot of rumored animosity between the pair after Goldberg's infamous kick to Hart's head during a WCW pay-per-view several years ago, a kick that was rumored to have led to Hart's retirement.

"It was very fulfilling getting to talk to him," Goldberg said. Check out Goldberg’s official website for more on the story.

Eddie/JBL Feud To Go On Much Longer, Major WWE/Germany News:

What may be a surprise to many, Bradshaw's current program with Eddie Guerrero is scheduled to go on longer than many thing it will. As of right now the program is scheduled to go beyond the Great American Bash PPV, and sources are saying that the two may even face each other in a match at this year's Summerslam PPV. There is still time for that to change of course, but there is a lot of thought that Vince McMahon feels strongly enough about Bradshaw's character that he would continue to push him as the brand's top heel.

Many are now beginning to feel that because of Bradshaw's actions in Germany this week, the market for wrestling there is probably not going to ever be as good as it had been hoped. As it is, Germany is not a strong market for professional wrestling, and many feel that after the Bradshaw incident it may even be a dead market. WWE has been trying to build Germany as a market for wrestling and a place that they can continue to go back to and make money as they do with most overseas tours, but Bradshaw pretty much set them back with his actions.

Victoria's 'Unique' Dance Routine, SmackDown! Morale Low:

WWE has canned Victoria's dance routine. The original plan to have her dance was thought of by Victoria herself but was scratched last week.

Backstage morale right now is very low on the SmackDown! side of things. There is also some tension of the RAW roster as well as we've been told WWE has tried to enforce a new dress code.

Bradshaw's WWE Co-Workers React To His Controversy:

One of John Bradshaw Layfield's co-workers reacted to Layfield's behavior on the recent tour of Germany by saying, "I'm embarassed to be a part of this company".

Bradshaw sparked outrage by "goose stepping" and using the "Hitler salute" in one of his matches.

"I'm sure he thought it was no big deal," said another co-worker. "Well it was a big deal, and the timing couldn't have been worse. The entire world was paying tribute to the men who died at D-Day, and we've got a clown in the ring making a fool of himself and the company."

The only WWE reaction was a brief apology that appeared on WWE.com for a short time earlier today before it was pulled. No explanation has been made as to why the apology was pulled.

Layfield has been fired from his duties as an on-air financial analyst for CNBC. One CNBC spokesperson called Layfield's actions "offensive".

WWE Expects Lesnar To Return, Hogan Hockey Celebration:

WWE officials fully expect Brock Lesnar to return to World Wrestling Entertainment once his NFL situation plays out. They expect that Lesnar will mature greatly and his life will calm down, which will cause him to realize just what kind of opportunity, with a few more years of full-time work for WWE, he would have to create a major long-term financial security to hold under his belt.

After the ABC coverage for the Stanley Cup ended, ESPN news continued and they showed Hulk Hogan and Brian Knobs celebrating with the Lightning players. Knobs and one of the players did a Hogan posedown. This also aired in the coverage in other parts of the world.

So if I understand this correctly Vince is going to make JBL pay for his actions by continuing to push him as a title contender. And they wonder why viewer apathy is at an all time high.

On a somewhat related note: the Raw/Smackdown ratings that MkGeek listed earlier- 3.3 for SD and 3.2 for Raw-combined didn't even beat out the Tony awards show later that week(6.8 last I heard). How sad is that?
