I've only just gotten into ROH watching it on The Fight Network in Canada, and seeing "Respect Is Earned" and I agree that they're something, but I'd hardly say it's the best wrestling America has, that's rather bold. They'll never be up to WWE standards and they have such a small audience.

Nope, WWE has more star power, more money, bigger production values, better promos, better all around entertainers and some wrestlers that are better than some of ROH's. ROH has the best wrestling matches (or rather, used to anyway) for a very specific crowd. Don't fool yourself, WWE is a better entertainment product and makes so much more money. And even if ROH was ''as known'' as WWE, it still wouldn't be more successful. It's the truth.

Hum no, if you believe that you're completely wrong. Why did the WWE rise to the top? Simple: because it's family entertainment. It entertains the kids, the teens and the adults. THAT is why it made so much money, and got the great tv schedule and pay per view deals, because A LOT of people want to see WWE. Not a lot of people want to see ROH. You think the thousands of kids amazed by John Cena beating everybody in ten minutes with the FU would give two shits about Bryan Danielson wrestling KENTA in a stiff, back and forth, 30 minute match? It took wwe 7 years to get a tv deal it took roh about 4 to 5 years. ROh is starting to make money and get more of a bigger audiance and roh do have ppv deals. The only reason thoes kids like Cena is caused they were only exposed to Cena simple as that. Plus your telling me when thoes kids tune into a wrestling show they don't want wrestling they whant a bunch of idots running around given half ass matches then watching ROH and seeing moty's. Why do you think WWE started having shorter matches and longer angles? Because Vince just said ''hey fuck it, I don't REALLY like wrestling. Let's just do this shit''? There something else I dissagree with you about first off ROH is just not consint wrestling then another match then another match look at the angles they have now look at The Age of fall also known as Project 161. Which is a great angle going on right now. I never said WWE fans are real wrestling fans they are entertament fans hell they booed kurt angle the first time he wrestled. If I were to take a laptop and show people the wrestling in ROH compared to wwe a lot of them would say wow and I'm watching this wwe. Tell me why at an own WWE show their own audiance would boo even chant TNA. Zentile is right, I mean, WCW didn't get close to beating WWF because they had better wrestlers, they did because they used a similar formula. Simple as that. ROH could be the best wrestling IN THE WORLD, BUT they have dignity and like most great things... not made for mass market.

I like ROH, but as far as it being better than WWE, no, NO, it's not, by far, WWE is lightyears ahead of ROH, and ROH has years to catch up, if they can, to WWE. As for WWE fans not being "real wrestling fans" as Zent pointed out, I think that's a load of bullshit! Just cause WWE fans eat, sleep and breath WWE, doesn't mean they ain't "real wrestling fans", they're just more passionate about WWE! Same with TNA fans and ROH fans! There's two sides to every argument, and whether both sides agree or not, they all agree on one thing, a love for everything Pro Wrestling, Period.

I don't think you got what I meant. WWE fans aren't real wrestling fans. They like wrestling because they're watching WWE over something else, but it's not like they watch it because of the great matches- to them, John Cena vs Batista would be a way bigger match than KENTA vs Danielson. They watch it to be entertained, and that's why Vince keeps dishing out huge angles over huge matches, because that's what most people will see.
