Mark "Undertaker" Calaway's expected long-term reign as World champion is in jeopardy, not because of a booking change, but because of a torn biceps suffered before Sunday's Backlash PPV match.
Calaway will be seeing Dr. James Andrews this afternoon, but is still scheduled to appear on tonight's television show which is conveniently in Birmingham, where Andrews' works out of.
He was in tremendous pain Monday morning after the match. Because of how the muscle has completely rolled up the air, the belief is he suffered a complete muscle tear off the bone, which will require surgery and he'll be out six to eight months.
The original booking plan was for a lengthy Undertaker title run this year, and him working far more house shows than in many years. That's one of the reason he trained himself into getting so lean, which gave him added stamina and quickness on this run.
If it is at all possible, Undertaker does want to drop the championship in the ring, but that decision won't be made until Andrews sees him today
that is going to suck for him, i think they should give it to kane

Agrees with the Kane thing. He is SOOO underrated.
That's just WONDERFUL. Thak you batista. You get back, and someone else gets shoved out. Just Perfect. It's the Goldberg/Bret Hart thing all over again.
I strongly disagree with the Khali push... not because I dislike Khali, but because Cena just beat down an "undefeated monster" heel in Umaga... who is basically a mini-chunky Khali with better wrestling ability. I actually like Khali, not because he's good or anything... but he's just fun for some reason. I was really hoping for a Cena heel turn last night, or a trick ploy by Edge to fake taking himself out. Oh well...
I personally don't have a problem with McMahon as the champ, since the angle is going to finally feature the ECW originals caring about the ECW title again. Perhaps something good can come of that... who knows.

Disagrees with the Kane thing. Yes he is underrated, but I just don't see him getting the belt again, don't ask me why, I just don't. He's had numerous opportunities to get it back, but hasn't. And you can't blaim Batista for Taker's injury, as it happend before Backlash, and it's hard to say how or why it happened. Besides, if anyone deserves critism for always injuring someone in the ring, it's that fat no-talent piece of bastard crap Mark Henry! Man, I wish the WWE would wake up already regarding him. And as for the Goldberg/Bret incident, I think Bret blew the whole thing out of proportion. I mean, he was just looking to blaim someone else for something bad happening to him, imo.
** Some news I found in regards to Orton **
-- WWE management are split on the future of Randy Orton following the hotel incident. Some feel Orton will grow out of it and is the future "star" of the WWE product, while others think his immaturity is something the company should not be based around and he should not be pushed until he sorts his act out. Orton has behavioral issues dating back to his time in the Army and several other incidents like harassing Divas and breaking the wellness policy spring to mind.

Kane was champ only ONCE (not counting the WCW Title) and it was for a day! It's his turn to become a campion once again. More than 8 years! it's unthinkable for such talant to be wasted. Most people LOVE kane. He is one of the most underrated underused underpushed people in WWE. He has great work ethic and has gone through with some of the worst Gimiks in WWE history, yet still stood with his Character. He should have one last Run as champ. And he should put his mask on to. Just as like a "Return" thing. He gets injured, comes back a month later and become the new champ, then loose it to undertaker at wrestlemania. That would be great (in my oppinion.

Kane/Taker for the World title at Mania would be pretty sweet, and I guess Kane would be a better choice for Champion than Kennedy.
And that's good news for ROH, now it means they'll get more exposure, and maybe the Fight Network in Canada will start to air more recent ROH shows

** (WWE) Update On The Undertaker **
The World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker is suffering from a torn bicep tendon and will be having the injury evaluated today before the Smackdown! tapings in Birmingham, AL., under the hands of Dr James Andrews. Dave Meltzer of the Observer is reporting that there's a big possibility that 'Taker will be out for a long period of time and his reign as World champion will be cut short. If he can wrestle another match for the title and drop it there that will be the way to go however it all depends on the results by Dr. Andrews. Meltzer says that the general belief is that he suffered a complete muscle tear off the bone which can take up eight long months to recover from.

Meh, it won't get stickied, but it would be nice. Anyway, sucks for Taker, I am a big fan of his but he's just too old to hack it with some of these kids now. He more than anyone else needs to hang it up.
0
Washed up? need's to hang it up? dude, Hogan is WAYYYY out of his prime, can't wrestle any more, and can't act worth a shit, yet he is still a key member of the WWE. Saying that Undertaker is washed up than Billy and Chuck was a good idea for a sitcom. It's just not true. Taker can bring out the best of anyone, even crappy people like Batista, who are only there to flex and accept checks. If taker retires, it will be a true loss to WWE.
Also, Saying i wanna see Kane Vs. Boggyman Is like saying i wanna see the worst match between good stars ever. They are both cool, but be honest, that match would suck SOOO bad. that would be like seeing Khali vs. Giant Gonzolez. It wouldn't be worth seeing.

Thats gay.
I am starting to get so fucking tired of your ''saying that is just like saying this'' routine. It's fucking annoying.
Undertaker IS old. The proof is that he got injured a month into his world title reign. As usual, your fanboy vision is getting in the way of facts.
Also, Hulk Hogan is no longer with the WWE. Saying Hogan is with the WWE right now is like saying that Undertaker isn't old. It's just not true.

He may be "old" but like he said Taker can still hang in there, just cause he got a fucking injury doesn't mean shit, guys in wrestling get injured all the time, young or old, Zent, you should know that better than anyone dude, you're a wrestler yourself. Injuries have no age bias they just happen.
** Another Taker injury update **
-- Dave Meltzer is reporting that World Heavyweight champion The Undertaker will be undergoing surgery for his torn right biceps, and be out of action about six months. Undertaker's surgery will happen after Tuesday night's Smackdown taping in Pittsburgh, PA.
** (WWE) New Details On Orton Trashing His Hotel Room
(Source: PWTorch Newsletter) **
-- It was originally reported that Randy Orton was sent home for trashing a hotel room. According to new reports, he was a mess during the tour and was sent home as a result of that. After he was told that he was going home, he trashed the hotel room. Several superstar’s have lashed out on him and one was quoted saying, "Nobody likes him, nobody feels sorry for him, nobody cares if he gets suspended or fired." Right now the current plan is to keep Randy Orton on the RAW brand. Last week we reported that due to the hotel incident that took place overseas, one of his punishments may be to move him to another brand. WWE has also decided not to suspend him either, however he will be paying for the damages to the hotel room, and possibly another WWE related fine will take place.
Man he's such a douche-bag, imo! Why do they kiss his ass?!

If tna picks up orton i will cease watching tna - not like i do now, anyways. was tonights show the one with the gail/jacky hardcore match? I guess jacky busted some teeth out = she's bot my respect from here on out. has tna had a legit finish on tv lately?
oh, and i finished a six page midterm on axial urban design and organic space within the span of five fucking hours, including note organization!! "high fives somebody who cares"![grin](/m/b/l8Bt2tqLc2qFeRcvOfVMC06hYniXgfZotDGt2i72HE1SD6F1Wu70HjIWWFe0TjTjWTBjia1u1gFb8IozIlbs7mIAJfZ7)

Last night was one of the first time's I've watched Impact in a really long time... and it's every bit as bad as I remember. Actually, no... it was much worse. Seriously, there were zero good wrestling matches... pushing it I'd say there was about 5 minutes of actual wrestling in the entire show. It'd be different if the promos were actually ever good, but alas... TNA's roster must be related to Bobby Lashley.

That doesn't prove anything. The fact that he's been going for as long as he has, non-stop I might add (this is actually the first time he's going to be out for an extended amount of time), proves that he can still hang. Injuries happen to everyone, it doesn't mean jack shit. Hell, look at Micheals as an example, he suffered what was then thought of as a career ending back injury in '97, and in 2002, came back stronger than ever, proving he could still go, so in 6 months, or whenever Taker comes back, he'll prove even more that he's still got it.
And Zent, I agree, TNA's roster ain't to blaim for TNA's poor showings, it's the retards who run the promotion, the Carters, who obviously don't have a clue. When Jerry Jarrett let them take majority ownership, that, imo, was a mistake. Oh, and old Vinnie Ru also doesn't help any either
