I will agree with you on that gnrlies1992. Right now, both WWE & TNA have horrible story lines, and wrestlers in both companies are messing up more often. Oh, & the only reason Wrestling Society X got the boot by MTV, in my opinion, is those retarded graphics & special effects they used to simulate explosions, fire, but the worst were the sparkle effects used to emulate the shine on the "bling ladder" Ruckus brought out.

That was a lot of Criticism. How can you say TNA is overrated? The WWe is one of the worst companys ever right now. Some of the local brands back in Ohio are better than WWE is now. They have completely ruined the company they helped build by putting out have-baked storylines, crappy wrestling, and some of the worst actors *cough* John Cena *Cough* that this world has ever seen. Calling TNA "Over-Rated" is like saying Borat a good movie. It's just not true. TNA is the future of the business. And if you don't like that, then don't watch wrestling. Cause WWE is gonna fold under in 5-10 years, then that will be your only wrestling to watch. Unless you wanna buy the only season of WSX on DVD.
I would love to see these and other dream amtched. Could you see VKM Vs. DX, just to settle things? AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels aginsty the Hardys. Angel vs. Shamrock (I'm Probebly alone on that one). They would be great matches. Just Picture it. TNA Vs. WWE

You guys are picking TNA's most overrated wrestlers... Abyss is a boring ripoff of multiple WWE characters. Samoa Joe is not a very good wrestler... he's "stiff", and people just happen to like him for it for some reason. If it was some WWE guy they'd call him wreckless and untalented. Professional wrestling isn't about how bad you can hurt someone; it's about not hurting them but making it seem realistic. It's just like acting in a way. Do you call a good actor someone who is botching his lines? No, a good actor is someone who follows the script and plays the part in a believable manner.
WWE has better talent than TNA in those respects. Just like Zentile said a few pages ago, that's the way it always has been. WCW is gone; there's no such thing as "dream matches" anymore. I wouldn't pay $5 to see any of the matches listed here happen.

WWE is one of the best companies there is today. There's a reason why it makes money, there's a reason why Vince McMahon can wipe his ass with 100 dollar bills. Does it suck? Sure, but hey, it makes shitloads of money, and on occasion puts on some of the best matches of the year. It's modern but respectful of traditional wrestling, despite the four minute matches with no actual WRESTLING per se, it has classic in ring psychology, great athletes, great talent and great promos. Did I mention that it makes shitloads of cash?
TNA IS over rated. I find it very annoying to hear people saying that TNA is where the ''real wrestling'' is at, for the ''real wrestling fans''. Yeah, it has AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jerry Lynn, Jay Lethal, Scott Steiner, Christian Cage, Kurt Angle, Alex Shelley, Low Ki and Austin Aries, guys I'd include on a list of best wrestlers in the world today. But the matches are shit, the psychology is garbage (despite TNA having psychology masters Raven and Christian Cage) , everything feels rushed, the X Division is hardly ever put to good use, and the best talent is put against the worst, making sure the matches never get better than decent (although Cage is that damn good that he can have great matches with guys like Abyss).
The only reason I pick TNA over WWE is because of it having four of my all time favorites (Steiner, Cage, Styles and Daniels). The truth is it's a shittier product that doesn't make half the money WWE makes on a bad day.
WWE is going to fold? You've proven yourself to be nothing more than a mark, so I suggest you stick to that instead of trying to go into the field of finance, promoting and economics. Unless WWE's entire roster suddenly dies in a freak accident, it's not going to fold in the next five years, or at least defenetely NOT thanks to TNA. TNA is not competition for WWE today, and probably will never be. Anybody who thinks otherwise is just plain wrong. Numbers cut better promos than Kurt Angle, and the numbers say TNA's ratings are shit, and it's a company that just keeps losing money. No fantasies, no interviews from Angle saying TNA will make WWE fold in the next five years, just plain FACTS.

Oh, and don't be naive, tons of big wrestlers can do moonsaults off the top rope. Mark Jindrak did it, Matt Morgan did it, and I could go on. The only difference is, TNA LETS Lance Hoyt (who is a piece of crap wrestler, by the way) do moonsaults, while WWE wouldn't let Matt Morgan. Not for security reasons, just for the fact that it wouldn't make much sense. And that's what TNA has always been great at, senseless psychology in both the ring and in angles and promos.
The fact that you didn't include Chris Benoit, Shelton Benjamin, Chavo Guerrero, Shane Helms, Jimmy Yang, Matt Hardy, Jamie Noble, Carlito and Rey Mysterio in your list of best WWE wrestler alone shows you that you don't know what you're talking about.

Fine it might not fold, but anything good, eventually goes bad. Remember the WCW's NWO storyline? The last one they ever had was the worst. WWE is heading twards that with it's half assed wrestling, half-assed Storyline and (for the most part) Half-assed roster, the will eventually loose. A lot of people thought thought that WCW was gonna last, but it didn't. A lot of people also underrestimated WCW right befor they got to their peak. All TNA needs is about 5 more big stars, a 2 hour show, and a TOUR instead of staying in florida for the most part of filming. TNA already has a decent time slot, but they don't have enough "star power" for some people. And TNA is real(er) wrestling for real Wrestling Fans. I would have left wrestling behind had i not discovered TNA. And soon, maybe not 3-5 years, maybe not in 5-10 years, but eventually (which zentile and Crow need to realize) the WWE "superstars" will eventually Retire. And when that happens, what next, Hire new staff? Probebly, but as the newer stars comeing, the older audience tends to leave. And the younger viwers just aren't into wrestling like they used to be. If the younger audience finds out how much more action is on TNA then WWE, then TNA will take over(even if it is for a short time). Just face the fact that in about 20 years, when most of the people on this site are eather married or dead, you won't be hereing about WWE, your gonna be hering about TNA.

What facts do we need to face? You're not giving us any. WWE is building new stars (although yes, as I have previously mentioned a few times, it's losing alot of star power). Is TNA doing that? Hardly. And why do you complain that WWE has bad storylines, bad roster and bad wrestling, when TNA does the same? The storylines are crap, the roster is mostly shit, so much shit that you dont even know who people are. WWE might not have alot of star power, but the truth is you always know who's who in there. I know who Sylvan is alot more than I know who Andy Douglas is. Even WWE's jobbers have more star power than TNA's midcarders. TNA is real wrestling? How the hell is TNA real wrestling for real wrestling fans? I think I'm a pretty real wrestling fan and I think TNA is crap for the most part. TNA doesn't even HAVE all that much wrestling. The matches are always short, usually dont include chain wrestling, and alot of times consist of a bunch of spots put together that sometimes dont even make sense.
TNA is for spotfest fans, not WRESTLING fans.
What makes you think TNA wont fold? You say that in a few years, since WWE's biggest names will be retiring, people will be looking for a younger roster in a different company. But why the hell would TNA be around for that long? Do you realize TNA does nothing more than lose money? That's right, TNA is losing money consistently. WWE on the other hand, MAKES money. TNA will fold before WWE. It's that simple.
You're being TNA biased, and that's that. This argument is over.

Fine you want me to be unbiased, i'll be unbiased. Your right, alot of TNA isn't real wrestling. But you know what it is, . And listen to the fans chant TNA. Is wwe. The only thing thats different is that the fans weren't chanting for WWE. That was the most exciting thing that has happened at wrestlemania in 5 years.

I happen to like Jeff Hardy so I'm not going to fault you for thinking that is the best Wrestlemania moment in a while. But honestly... HBK vs. Angle. That's a match. That was an actual wrestling match, for a real wrestling fan. You seem to like "spots", which is something Jeff happens to be the king of and all that TNA usually is.

And listen to the fans chant TNA. thisIs wwe.
Lets just agree to disagree, cause i have had enough arguing for a few days.

just got back from an ROH show it was awsome and it was colt's last match in ROH it suck that he's going to wwe
Sorry but I cant agree to disagree. It was hardly a healthy discussion, you were just being biased! What you have to understand is that I WANT TNA to be as awesome as you say it is. I WANT TNA to have the success you think it will have. But it's just not the way things are. I dont like WWE, but TNA is just not competition. Period.
Backlash predictions:
Women's title, Mickie vs Melina - Melina retains.
Tag Titles, Hardyz vs Cade and Murdoch - Nice to see the tag division get more attention and just two teams in one match as opposed to the tag team turmoils match that are just as bad as the cruiserweight battle royals. Hardyz retain.
Bullshit match - Lashley wins.
U.S. title match - Benoit retained at Mania and he beat MVP by count out on Smackdown!, so I think MVP might win. Not sure on it though, but still going with MVP. - So yeah, MVP becomes champ.
Four way - Cena retains by pinning Orton.
Last Man Standing - Taker wins.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but i have lost almost all my love for wrestling because of WWE. I am looking for something more exciting, and WWE just hasn't done it for me for the past three years. It's sad that the highpoint of the last three years in WWE for me was when Goldberg Came back for a year. WWE has just lost it's luster to me. You saying that TNA isn't competition doesn't mean it CAN'T become Competition. But, we will have to wait and see. And that was writen calmly, so don't think i'm shouting this at you through my computer.

Well, since I can't butt into the current WWE/TNA conversation, I'll turn my attention to your post. How was the show overall? Was Colt's match as emotional as Punk's final match with ROH? Did he give a speech? I'd love to go to ROH. I asked them recently if they had plans to come to Canada, and they said there were no plans as of yet. Anyone know if they have a newsletter you can sign up for to get event news, etc.?
Anyone see "The Condemned" yet? What did anyone think?
Thanks for making this thread one of the number one threads on this site!
Ok, so just to make things clear, I LIKE TNA, and I do want it to succeed. Every time something big for TNA happens, I mark out. But right now, it's not competition and WWE is not going to go down, wether we like it or not.
Good luck for TNA.
Good luck for TNA.

Yes i should have mentioned who pinned who souldn't I. Also, if you read my OTHER post, i give the results of the Batista Vs. Taker match.
Sorry but I dont see the point for the hidden spoilers? Vince McMahon is the NEW, world's heavyweight wrestling champion for ECW. A truly great step in the right direction if Vince McMahon wants to get back all the old ECW fans. First the Big Show, then Lashley, and finally McMahon. Awesome.
