Kevin Nash & Scott Hall Possibly Returning To WWE

Date Added: September 07, 2006
Story By: Daniel Pena
source: Pro Wrestling Torch

There has been some talk at the WWE discussion table in regards to bringing back Kevin Nash, 47, and Scott Hall, 47 (48 next month). Should they return, the duo would come in to feud with DX once the McMahon vs. DX feud runs its course. The possibility of a "DX vs. NWO" feud seems to be much too hard to write off completely and that it should at least be considered.

As expected, there are some people within WWE who don't want anything to do with either Kevin Nash nor Scott Hall - all for different reasons. WWE sources are denying the possibility of The Outsiders returning to WWE, but they have admitted that the idea of them returning has been proposed within various circles.

Kevin Nash's TNA status is currently in limbo. If his contract hasn't run out already, it probably will soon. As for Scott Hall, in an interview with a Puerto Rico wrestling site back in June, he said that he was healthy and that he was training for a possible in-ring return.

I'll believe it when I see it.

News:
Vince McMahon once again had to appologize for comments made by one of his wrestlers: WWE Chairman Vince McMahon issued an apology for a remark Matt Striker made regarding Steve Irwin's death on Tuesday's ECW.

"We at WWE apologize for the remark alluding to the death of Steve Irwin which was made on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night. The remark was, in the least, disrespectful to Mr. Irwin's fans and family," McMahon said on WWE.com Thursday.

During a promo in which he distanced himself from "dumb jocks," Striker said that fans would never catch him swimming with stingrays, referencing a stingray's role in Irwin's death.

PWInsider reports that Brian Gewirtz scripted the line and had it approved by Vince McMahon.

I found a little something involving DX:

Sean "X-Pac" Waltman made a surprise appearance at the 9/8 RAW brand house show in Tampa, Florida. After DX defeated Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade in match, X-Pac came down to ringside to celebrate with them. Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels looked surprised by his arrival. X-Pac wore street clothes and he did some crotch chops.

X-Pac was invited to Friday night's RAW brand house show by Triple H. He hasn't been signed, he was simply a guest. Although, there is a movement to bring back stars from the 90's and it wouldn't be surprising if he got hired again.

If you want to see a short video clip of X-pac doing chops w/ DX

The whole house show in tampa seemed kind of a waste of money. I mean when they have a real show they're great. Or at least a show at the sundome or something a nice small venue. And honestly DX versus Murdoch & Cade, You've got to be kidding me. Glad I didn't go grin

I want the nWo to return so bad. They were awesome. However WWE is boring the living fuck out of me. So, it would be awesome if the nWo went to TNA or something.

If both the nWo and X-Pac were to return, i wonder who pac would side with. DX or nWo? It could make for an interesting storyline.

Fuck Vince. TNA could just have something similar to nWo. Like Hall, Nash, and Jarrett's Kings of Wrestling back in Nov 04, ring bells? I am not cutting you down, but either way it will work. Its just that the WWE is really fuckin dumb right now.

Anywho, I found a strong rumor going around about nWo and DX:

DX vs. nWo?

There is a strong rumor within WWE right now about possibly bringing in Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to feud with D-Generation X after the current McMahon-DX feud runs its course. There are said to be a number of critics within WWE about that idea as many people don't want any part of either Nash or Hall for various reasons. Some do realize that a "DX vs. nWo" feud could do quite well, so anything is possible at this point. While some WWE sources deny it as a possibility, they have also admitted at the same time that the idea has been proposed and "put on the table" so to speak.

The problem with bringing back the nWo, is that like all the tag-teams in the WWE... it doesn't last.

Though the idea would be awesome since I'm a huge fan of the nWo.

Feud DX vs nWo, without all new-blood (people like CM Punk, RVD, Carlito, Johnny Jeter or Charlie Haas in DX, and people like Cena, Kennedy, Lashley, Burchill or Ken Doane in nWo) will sucks and will be pure wrestlecrap...

Nope, Vince brought Fresh NEW wrestlers (The Rock, Triple H, Kane, etc.) and gave Veteran Wrestlers a chance,(Stone Cold , Mankind, etc.) That what won rating and ended WCW!

The nWo was awesome, I will miss it forever. It was so funny to see Hogan beat the shit out of the Macho Man and everyone. Especially when he used spray paint on them. I laughed so much when he sprayed Ric Flair in the face with that black spray paint.

Either way, the nWo had some problems. What bothered me was the fact that they kept adding members. It was the best with just three. I would have just left it at The Giant joining, that's it. Those four would have been awesome, and they were, until they started to water the nWo's poison down with dumb ass wrestlers.

I loved nWo Wolfpac, but the regular nWo ruled.

Jeff Hardy in his old attire is honestly the lames thing I would have though could happen to him. What happened to being an Enigma? What happened to being strange and unorthodox? Now its just the same old hardy Boyz music when Modest was so much better, The same old look from 2001, When I saw Orton vs. Hardy and it showed Hardy all covered in paint I was like yes!!! Hardy is going to look like he did in TNA but nope, I was wrong. Come on he looked so much cooler with the paint and everything, let him have it back.

NWO 4444 LLLLIIIIFFFEEE!!!! grin

This whole DX/NWO thing, I'll believe it when and/or if I see it. And to the person who said "NWO should go to TNA, remember the Kings of Wrestling", yes I do remember that group, and do you remeber the one called "Sports Entertainment Xtreme" or SEX? TNA has a bad track record in terms of groups/stables or superstars, as in all the factions sucked! So NO the NWO (even if Vince didn't own all the copyrights to sue TNA if they ever so much as copied the idea), would not survive or even be a cool addition to TNA.

Testify. WWE just did the usual talent upbringing. WCW's mistake was re-using the same formula and old wrestlers over and over again, and putting people in charge that didn't know the first thing about wrestling. WWE's finishing move was stealing ECW's extreme ''gimmick''.

Agreed. That is something that TNA needs huge help on. But, the DX nWo thing was a rumor I found on some wrestling site, I think it was WrestlingObserver.com. However, I still prefer TNA and ECW over WWE right now.
