Today, my sub in U.S History used to work for ECW and WWF. His name is Lance Wright. He talked like 100 mph all about wrestling stuff. He was cool though.

He mentioned so much stuff about his time in ecw and stuff. He also claimed that he was talking to Tommy Dreamer a few days ago about the upcoming ecw paperview.

There was a whole bunch of stuff he talked about, and he hopes that RVD wins against cena. And that he once got 5-star frog splashed on which knocked the wind out of him.

And also, he said if Mick Foley doesnt turn on Edge, he is going to cry and feel heartbroken. I guess it's cause of his ECW pride.

We had a History Teacher in 12th grade that used to wrestle in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, and one friday a month he'd bring in video's of himself and Hulk Hogan tag-teaming guys like the Junkyard Dog and stuff. It was cool.

Man, I would've given anything to have had teachers remotely that cool.

What I don't get is they are supposed to be taping ECW before/after the Smackdown! tapings on Tuesday nights. (Mistake #1 imo, should stick with the smaller venues) So how can ECW be on Tuesdays at 10pm if they are taping at roughly the same time? Unless there is an entire week delay from filming to displaying, but that's part of what killed Smackdown, and that delay is only 4 days now.


ECW should be on it's own, back in Philly and surrounding area's, small venues, shitty camera quality, people in the crowd being part of the show, and etc. ECW was built on many things, the look, feel, style. This isn't going to work making an ECW show look like a WWE show. Especially if every match has 'rules'.

Remember how pumped you got when you heard New Jacks theme music come out of nowhere in the middle of mayhem? Not going to happen. Same with Sandman. RVD. Anyone who used 'real' music. I wish WWE would spend the coin and get the rights to play that stuff again.

it also says "a summer series" so does that mean that after the summers over, no more ECW? or is it only gonna be on during the summer?

and only one hour? that already is a problem, that will not satisfy fans who have been waiting for the show again, although it used to be one hour i believe, with a ton of commercials and promos, hopefully, all of those will be gone this time around.

I can get excited about it, but not to the extent of some people! Canada doesn't have the "The SCI FI Channel", or at least not in my area, so I can't even watch the show. Smart move as always on Vince's part, once again forgetting about us Canadian fans!

its funny how when wwe got ecw and tried to have tommy dreamer and to turn into "wwe superstars" when down the crap hole. the same thing is gonna happen now. this isnt going to be ecw, this is gonna be ecw with wwe watered down "entertainment". i can just picture what the new "extreme" matches are gonna look like. hitting each other with pumpkin pie pans and shit.

I agree with a lot of what you said. ECW, every match had a chair, and usually that chair was someone from the first 4 rows. Those pathetic flimsy fake ass garbage cans and stuff are beyond stupid. Seriously why do they even still use those props? Is anyone buying that shit? I worked at a grocery store, 1 of those pie pans weigh about .0000000001 grams.

Anyone watch TNA last night? They're doing another KOTM match at Slamiversary, or whatever it's called, and so far Abyss and Monty..I'm not Bobby Lashly..Brown have qualified for the match.

So the Great Khali destroyed the Undertaker. And the Undertaker wants to feid with Kane again. This makes the Undertaker look weak, since he got destroyed by Great Khali. I hope Kane destroys the Undertaker and then the Undertaker can finally reitire and be inducted in the next Wrestlmania's Hall of Fame.

What I hate is that when ever Kane has a fued with the Undertaker Undertaker always ends up winning it.
