For some reason, it seems that the former WWE wrestlers that went to TNA lost all of their personality. I used to think Christian was one of the funniest WWE had, but now in TNA he’s very boring. I’m not sure if it’s Christian’s opponents or if it’s the writers, but imo he’d isn’t nearly as entertaining as he used to be.

So Rey Mysterio loses to the Great Khali in a squash match. Wtf is that? That makes Rey seem not even worthy of being champion
They also have to build Khali as somthing insaneley powerful because he iis GOD aweful. He would make Giant Gonzelez look like fucking bret hart. They have little to work with him. And his matches are either going to all be squashes or like nails on chalkboard bad. Nobody Could ever carry him to a good match nor will. Yeah it does make Rey look bad but they also have to build him as the underdog because he wont get over as a dominent champion.
Ps I was glad to see a wrestling thread, and like 300 pages worth of posts. I'm Excited.

In a way, having a champ lose actually makes sense. If a champ loses non-title matches, the fans see this and think "Wow, the champion might actually lose the title when he puts the belt on the line!" And when does he put the belt on the line? Most of the time it's on PPVs, so these things are done so that fans buy the events.
I do agree, however, that they shouldn't be squash matches. A perfect example would be last week's SmackDown!, with Rey's match against Mark Henry.

Why thank you!! LOL! Of course I can't take all the credit!
Any way, yeah, speaking oh Khali, here's some news that won't surprise anyone:
The Great Khali To Be Released After Judgment Day?
** The Great Khali is considered to be so bad in the ring that he's been labeled as a danger to his opponents and a risk to himself as well. His upcoming match with The Undertaker at Judgment Day just may be his only high-profile WWE match before he gets cut loose because he's said to be that inept. Khali's recent involvement at WWE shows has been limited to run-ins for the most part because management isn't too keen on him having actual matches. (Source: twnpnews.com)

Exactly? lol, exactly what? Booker's a heel so it's not believable that the other wrestlers would be high fiving him? It's officially a shoot. There's no doubt anymore. And wrestlers don't live their gimmicks (well, most don't anyway).

Why would they sign him, bring him in, and create all this hype (having him beat the champion tonight) if he is so bad? Unless they did it cause Jarrett's daddy left TNA and brought Khali to WWE, and this is all a stab at Jeff Jarrett.

No idea, and btw Jarrett's Dad brought in a Russian guy, I forget his name, and it wasn't Khali.
Bwahaha, Oleg Prudius. They should put Oleg and Khali in a programme together. Best promo's ever.
Oleg: "Hellor. My name is called Oleg. I like...f...t...f... fight. Do you like twice...two...TO.. fight? You? Like TO fight?"
Khali: "H582#@}l3532%Y******HFUS!!!!!"
Oleg: "You talk when you spit, large hairy man. You talk in de Oleg's eye. Vance brungs me here not to be have spit in eyes..."
Khali: "DOOOOF!!!" *crosses arms*
Oleg: "I crooshe you! You toes!... towss...t... toas..t...toast! TOAST! You are that which is TOAST, and Oleg's going to smoke it!"
Etc.
And ign.com have a pretty cool interview with RVD up. You can find it if you look amongst the SVR07 stuff.

WWE.com recently had a chance to check in with THQ about SmackDown vs. RAW, the hottest wrestling video game franchise on the market. SvR ’07 just made its debut this week at E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo. E3 is the biggest event in the video gaming industry and WWE has definitely laid the smack down on it.
When asked about how the game has been received at E3, Tracy Muniz, THQ’s marketing representative, said “the press and retailers have been very responsive to the game, with the two most notable being Microsoft and Sony.” Microsoft will release the game on their next generation console, the Xbox 360, and Sony will be releasing the game on PS2, PSP and eventually PS3. With those two corporate giants being onboard and extremely impressed with the new product, WWE knows that this year’s version will be another smashing success.
The positive feedback didn’t come easily though, “SmackDown vs. RAW ’06 was released last November and our teams started working on the ’07 release in October, so before the current release goes out we’re already working on the next one,” commented Tracy.
The ‘07 release will feature several new and upgraded features that will catapult the game to a whole new level. Every year the game gets better and better, and after speaking with THQ, 2008’s version is going to be hard pressed to best the ‘07 incarnation.

Cool, that sounds awesome!
Any way, is anyone going to watch TNA Sacrifice tonight? Kinda stupid to hold it on Mother's Day, imo, they should've waited until the weekend after next. Don't know about anyone else, but my Mother is more important than some ppv!

Some Goldberg news:
** Bill Goldberg's wife Wanda gave birth to a boy on Wednesday. His name is Gage A.J. Goldberg and he weighed in at 5 pounds and 11 ounces. This is the couple's first child.
source: BillGoldberg.com
** Hillis A Mallory III sent word that Bill Goldberg talked about TNA in his latest journal entry on his official website. Goldberg talks about TNA's move to Thursday night on Spike TV and confirms that he has been speaking with TNA officials:
"TNA Wrestling moved to Thursday nights (11 p.m. ET) on Spike-TV. That's a positive sign for TNA. The appearance of some of my old buddies on TNA, such as Scott and Rick Steiner, certainly will help their cause. I wish TNA nothing but the best and, yes, I can tell you that I've been in contact with TNA officials. The potential for a comeback definitely exists."

Foley can't afford to be a heel. He's not good enough in the ring. Not trying to diss Foley, I like him, but it's true. Guys like Heidenreich, Foley, Flair, Hogan, Goldust, Snitsky... since they can't be taken seriously as heels due to their bad in ring work, they have to be babyfaces. It's the only way to get them over (though Flair I guess IS a different story, and Hogan aswell).

Goldberg is going to be on "Pro's vs Joe's' tomorrow (Monday) night on Spike TV. Looks pretty cool, someone gets sent to the hospital.
For those who have never seen it, basically they pick 5 athletes that are retired, and 3 'Average Joes' to try and beat the athletes in their own game. Ie - Run a football 10 yards and get past Bill Goldberg. It's a pretty good show and I wonder if Goldberg is the one sending ppl to the hospital.
On a side note, can someone shadow ban the guy with the avatar/sig you need a password to see? It's been fuckin with this thread for 4 days, so if someone could fix it that would be cool.

Awesome, I’d watch TNA every week if Goldberg signed with them. I know most of the internet fans don’t seem to like him, but he was always entertaining.
