Some many people say that, few give a reason. Be one of the few.
Impact this week I'll say it wasnt as good as I wanted it to be. But thats likely because they wanted to show the people that are already known, and get over the ones that arent.
Next week will be great though,we've got AMW vs Team 3D, Christopher Daniels vs Matt Bentley vs Austin Aries,3LK against Team Canada, and Abyss vs Sonny Siaki.
Btw the Dudleys had there say,in a way on impact. If you look at there shirts on the back it says 'Trademark This!' with a middle finger.
Abyss has already been offered a WWE contract. He turned it down to stay with TNA like AJ Styles and a few other TNA guys. I'm not entirely sure why he turned it down, but I think it might have been to do with not wanting to compromise his faith (much like Sting). Or maybe it was just because he wanted to help build TNA, who knows.
As for TNA going under, I don't see it happening, and if it does, we'll wind up with WWE becoming a better product as a result of the war between the companies. It's win-win for the fans.
But when Vince is scared you know something's up. He says TNA isn't even in WWE's league and that they're not really competition, but that's just publicity nonsense. TNA has exclusive content on it's website. A month or two later, WWE starts doing the same. TNA announces a 30 minute iron man match for one their biggest shows between two of their biggest stars. The following week, WWE announces a 30 minute iron match between two of their biggest stars for one of their biggest shows too. TNA starts airing their weekly show on their website. A few months later, WWE starts doing the same with Velocity. I wouldn't say these sorts of things are just coincidences. Vince is paying attention and he doesn't like what he's seeing, he's trying to stop TNA before it starts by one-upping them, which means as much he says he doesn't care, he really is worried on some level.
One thing he can never outdo though, is the X Division. He can't one up TNA's high flying matches with high flying matches of his own when he doesn't even allow them, so TNA will in some form, always have a huge draw that Vince can't touch no matter how much money he has.
Personally, i'd stop watching WWE in a heartbeat if Impact showed here weekly.

I think WWE would kill Abyss...
But anyways, damn am I the only one who can't wait to see Jamie Noble return to the WWE? I suppose I shouldn't be though, since his matches will probably not be half as good as the ROH ones. Damn his battle with American Dragon was INTENSE. How Noble survived after that dragon suplex, I'll never know.

Thanks, lol
I just watched that trailer at IGN for Smackdown Vs Raw 2006, looks pretty good. Nice roster right now, great graphics, and the new match's look really cool. Taker with the casket was awesome, and so was seeing Stone Cold! Official release date is 11/14/05, can't wait!

LOL!! I think it will be time to make a new thread soon, like say when this one reaches 6000! This is insane that it has lasted this long, over 5000 posts and 217 pages. Allot longer than when I originally made it.
Yeah, tonight is going to be great, I can't wait. I hope Bitchoff doesn't win, and as for any special guests, Bret would be a nice surprise, even though we all know that ain't going to happen. As for Trips, what does anyone think, face or heel? Join or turn on Flair?
Predictions:
1)Cena over Bitchoff,
2)Micheals over Angle, but could go either way,
3)Edge over Matt, as much as I hate Edge, Matt's appeal has died out
Yeah, Zentile, I can't say I'm looking forward to Jamie Nobles return, but I can say I hope he does better this time around. Spanky is apparentlly back as well, he was on this past week's Velocity according to the spoilers.
Brother you can watch Velocity on WWE.com now. I saw Spanky - now called Brian Kendrick - team up with Paul London to take on Nunzio and Vito, it was a cool match. London spat out a Red Star Press at a certain point during the match, and it caught me by surprise. I didn't know he used it.
Bah. Jamie Gibson is world title material. He'll be lucky if he wins the cruiser title in the WWE though.

I thought RAW could've done a lot better. I mean HHH attacks Flair for no reason. The ending of the show was weak, etc. I'm glad they didn't see the Smackdown match, that belongs on Smackdown, not RAW. The only good match was the HBK/Angle Iron Man Match.

Missed Raw tonight, though, caught a little of the top 10. I miss Angle, the milkman. I don't like him as a heel and tonight reminded me how good of a show he can put on as a clean cut face.
I know it's not wrastlin' - actually it was - but Josh "The Blanket" Koscheck got KTFO!!! Holy crap! Man, I really want to like that guy, but I just can't. He's such an ass. A lucky knee...are you kidding me? Yeah, I guess every knee that hits a wrestler going in for a shoot is luck. It's not like putting your head down for a shoot, then taking a knee in defense is luck....please. That is text-book anti wrestler.

there were a lot of fuck ups during the matches. randy orton, stone cold, and a few others all fucked up on big moments. did u see the stunner on linda?? err..um..didnt see it. lol as soon as he kicked her she fell. his arm was up in the air and he dropped. it was funny.

I hope TNA can out-do WWE. I'm so tired of wrestling, I try to watch it now and it is not the same. I watched it for 13 years and one day about 5 months ago I was just like, dude this sucks. So now I am happy watching the UFC, the real sport.

I think pretty much everyone saw it coming. But HHH's return kicked ass anyway imo. The crowd was LOUD when his music hit, loudest of the night (just as someone here,I forget who predicted). Good to have the game back and be happy he isnt in the World Title hunt...yet.

Yeah, since it's been anounced for like... months.
Brothers don't worry, I'm sure Triple H's turn on Flair will be explained. Wasn't he saying something like ''what were you thinking?''

Yah I remember hearing that...what all has Flair done since Gonzo took his break? I can't think of anything that would merit the beating he got...but I do have a horrible memory so I guess I wouldn't know anyway.

ditto. anyone who thought that HHH would be a face, i totally pity them.
damn! Raw homecoming was soo good!!! but i just hate stone cold for stunning the mcmahons. especially Stephanie, shes my favorite McMahon. I luv her! and finally when she comes back, the gets the stunner, same for shane and linda. That bra and panties match wasnt even that good, 8 tits are not enough, especially when 2 of them didnt belong to Trish. plus it was too short.
but ocverall it was awesome.

I like how they're doing a Raw vs Smackdown angle. I have a feeling they are going to have that theme at Survivor Series. Hopefully we'll have a lot more of those 5 on 5 elimination matches with Raw guys vs Smackdown guys. Also Smackdown v Raw 2006 will be coming out around that time

Actually the Flair beating made total sense to me. HHH stayed off of Raw for a few months and in that time Flair goes from HHH's lapdog to HUGE face teaming with HBK (who has been fueding with HHH for what feels like forever) and then goes over as even more of a face by winning the IC belt from Carlito.
Flair had it coming, he forgot his place
BTW I hope I'm not the only one who finds it really sad that Ric Flair has been reduced to kissing everyones ass. When he was with HHH all he'd ever say is how H is "The greatest professional wrestler today". When Angle showed up on Raw Flair rambled on how much he looks up to Angle and wants he kids to be like Angle instead of like him. And then most recently he's been butt buddies with HBK. I miss the old Flair, the take no shit from nobody Flair, much like the way Dusty Rhodes still is.
