On behalf of War Zone Wrestling (wzwwrestling.com), I'd like to invite everyone to Wrestlestock 2005, the biggest backyard wrestling show in the US this year. There's going to be several live bands performing and a King of the Ring tournament with anybody who wants in.

The event will take place on Sunday, August 14, 2005 in Amsterdam, New York (just outside the state capital of Albany). Any and all backyard wrestlers are encouraged to attend this HUGE event!

Please don't take too much offense to this, but backyard wrestling is retarded! I've never seen a purpose for it. All it is is a bunch of morons trying to kill themselves with stupid, senseless, violence. I liked that in ECW! If you want to get into wrestling that badly, why do something so stupid, find a wrestling school, go train there and get into the indies and eventually you might work your way into the WWE, but don't think WWE is going to have much interest in you cause you "backyard wrestle". Oh well, how you want to spend your free time is up to you!

Scorp187, the draft lottery officially begins June 6th (Raw after Judgement Day) and runs until June 30th.

Raw was ok last night. Going to skip out on Judgement Day and go with the ECW ppv instead!

Just read the spoilers for SD tomorrow, and I think I'm going to skip it, not much of interest. None of the matches really seem that good, and the promos seem stupid.

Well Judgment Day seems like the shittiest PPV in a long time. No cruiserweight title match for some reason, even though London and Chavo have been on a far more serious feud for the cruiser title than OJ and Heidenreich (if you can call ONE stupid none-title match a feud). Heidenreich got this US title match out of nowhere, and Carlito's match with Big Show started being hyped two shows before the PPV. Eddie/Rey sounds awesome, and I really have no idea who'll win. On the one hand, Eddie's the heel who's been dominating Rey for the past two or three weeks, and that usually means that he'll lose the match. On the other hand, Rey has beaten Guerrero 3 times straight, including a big PPV match (Mania, of course), so it could be a bit too good for Rey and too bad for Eddie. I know I'm praying for Guerrero to pick up the clean, brutal victory. With hopefully a brainbuster on a steel chair afterwards.
MNM vs Haas and Bobby? Who gives a damn. Has as much build up as OJ/H.
Anywho, incoming predictions:

wwe champion john cena vs. jbl

- As much as I want JBL to take the belt, Cena will most likely win and that is my prediction.

Booker T vs. kurt angle

- Match of the Show candidate, IMO. If Booker is at his best (and lately he hasn't been at his best, I'm afraid) than this will no doupt be a show stealer. Hopefully Booker will win, so he doesn't sink to the lower mid card and U.S. divison. I think they can keep him as a main eventer and eventually have him take the WWE title already.

rey mysterio vs. eddie guerrero

- Rooting for Eddie. And I think he'll come out the winner, too. Probably a sick bump by Rey.

BIG show vs. carlito

- Hopefully Carlito will win. Big Show needs to put others over and nothing else. Keep him off any kind of titles. Probably a dirty victory by Carlito, with aid from Matt Morgan.

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS MNM vs. hardcore holly & charlie haas

- Rooting for Haas and Bobby to get the upset and start a feud with MNM. I think it would really give HH/CH a good push, while not lowering MNM too much and it would start an interesting feud, not to mention the fact that it would be an upset which is always nice to see.

U.S. Champion Orlando Jordan vs. heidenreich

- Rooting for Orlando to win, predicting Heidenreich to win.

In case anyone missed the opening of Raw tonight, Lita/Edge/Vince/WWE basically destroyed any dignity Matt Hardy had left.

Matt recently said some things on his web site about the WWE/Lita/Edge, and the WWE responded tonight by having Edge and Lita make out, a lot, and Lita cut a promo on 'Kane'. Basically you could substitute 'Kane' for Matt, and even King has given her the new name, 'Homewrecker'.

Man... I was already disgusted last week after the Edge Kane match... I couldn't believe the WWE would do something that distasteful. I’m not really a Matt Hardy fan but wow pure garbage...

I should have known things would only get worse this week...ick.

Yea but on the bright side, that 3 way promo with Vince, Bischoff, and Heyman kicked so much ass it's unreal.

Yeah, I didn't even watch most of the Lita/Edge promo. It's pretty low tier of WWE if you ask me. This is the first angle in a looong time I've actually been pissed about. It's extremely poor taste. Lita saying shit like "don't pass judgement because you're all perfect, as we know" or some retarded, sarcastic shit like that. She's basically saying "yeah, my actions were shitty, even to the point of them making me a shitty person with poor character...but I don't care because I have zero discipline, lacking fortitude and respect for other human beings."

There's a difference between having a quick tongue, sleeping around or some other shit. But fucking over someone they way she - and edge did - then the WWE making an angle from it with serious overtones is bottom feeding at its finest.

I like what's going on with Kane, but wtf. WWE is lamer than ever now. Sigh....well, whatever. I still have lucha's on the mexican channel, airing on saturdays durring the afternoon, so it's all good.

Oh, and yeah, good to see heyman. Bleh, WWE, bleh.

Edit: Viscera is the golden boy on Raw now. Shit is too good. I love how I was all hatin', now I'm all about the Visc. Good shit, I laughed my ass off when he was dancing with his draws down. Combined with that music, lol, priceless.

Shit is so boring with WWE right now. This thing with Lita is really sad, too.
I never understood why personal problems always have to be made into angles in the wrestling world.

On the plus side, each week I like OJ a little bit more. It's like he's slowly getting better or something. He needs a finisher of some description though.

Orlando Jordan does have a finisher. It's called "The Black-out." A move to which he wraps his arm around the opponent's neck, & then clashes down on impact as the opponent's head snaps forward. It's practically a chin-breaker, similar to Stone Cold's "Stunner" but he lands the move from a different angle (& he wraps his arm around the neck, rather than grab the neck with both hands). I've seen him perform the move a couple of times back when he first began wrestling on Velocity.
Jordan also has a finisher which is similar to Muhammad Hassan's (facebuster). Funny how Jordan rarely performs either finisher. He'll more than likely use them further into his career on a more current basis to develope his character more. I remember back when Randy Orton didn't have a finisher/devastation attack up until his whole "Legend Killer" gimmick.


Last week's SM! was laughable to a point. The session where JBL beat Scotty Too Hottie onto the announce table, you could actually see Michael Cole holding/reading a text from a book quoting something like "Who would have ever imagine JBL stooping to this level, we never saw this one coming. No telling what he'll do to Cena coming PPV." Yeah, sure.

OJ's finisher is a neckbreaker. He does it sort of like the RKO though, like an inverted RKO, because he jumps and grabs the opponent's neck. It's pretty cool looking, I wish he'd use it more. He also did the downward spiral/Reverse Rock Bottom/Facebuster/Complete Shot/Flatliner/Novacaine a few times.

I thought it was fairly precise.

RAW was OK last night and I was happy to see Flair a Face again but then when Gonzo appeared after Batista's match and seeing Flair behind Batista, I knew it was all a set up then... BOOM... low blow from Flair.

It would be great to see a Face Flair turn on Gonzo like Orton and Batista did so there would be no more Evolution (if it still exists).
Flair is great as a Heel but I like him a lot better as a Face.

And yeah i'd like Flair as a face too, but I think he's aligned with Triple H to help give the impression that Triple H really is the Ric Flair of today.

I think Flair is still really entertaining by the way. Sure all he ever does is chops, gets back body dropped onto his side and falls on his face, but he's good at it.
