Jeff, actually doesn't have much, if any power at all in the company, because lat year, his papa, Jerry, gave Jeff's booking duties to Dusty Rhodes, and I don't even think papa Jarrett has much power with the Panda Energy company under Dixie Carter running things. So Jeff likely just keeps the title, simply cause they figure he's the only one since TNA started in 2002, who truelly deserves the title. I still call him the Triple H of NWA TNA.

I watch older TNA shows on ESPN Classic Canada, and have gotten a few of their three hour ppvs, but with no access to Impact or Xplosion (unless they are able to work out a deal with WGN), it's kinda hard for me to support TNA, when I have no idea what the fuck is going on with them.

I want to see Cena's video tonight, so I'm watching Smackdown tonight for that and the main event.

** BTW, if you notice at all my absence over the next few days, it's because I start my new job Saturday, setting up a new store moving into my hometown's mall, so I'll be back, I'm just not sure when, it all depends whether I get kept on full time after the end of next week.**

I read some great fucking news today!.....

WWE has signed Gangrel to a contract, however, he has been down in Ohio Valley Wrestling training for his TV comeback. There is no word on when we'll see Gangrel, but it's thought that injury is the reason we've yet to see him on TV.

hell fucking yeah Gangrel was so awesome!. one of the best entrance and theme ever! great move by the WWE.

Sounds good... hopefully they don't let him rott like they do with some of the talent.

If they can bring back Viscera and give him a push, they sure as hell can given Gangrel a decent run. I wanna see him win the IC or US title.

Holy Hell what an awesome SmackDown.

The Eddie/Rey feud has to be the best WWE storyline these past years. the WWE ALWAYS comes up with crap storylines but I think they're really on their A-Game with this one. so far, I've been really into this storyline sence things really got intense between Eddie and Rey. the promo at the start of the show was just great. Eddie and Rey really showed alot of emotions and Eddie really came off as an asshole in that segment. great stuff. I never seen Rey Mysterio get this much airtime before so that was cool. the Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero Street Fight was an awesome match!. lots of sick bumps in that match espeically the springboard from the top rope on to Chavo while sitting on the Chair. that was wicked. the post-beatdown with Eddie was really well done, but holy crap, the slam on the steel steps was SICK!. holy shit that made me cringed. Rey looked fucking dead after the bump being all bloody and all. that was sweet though.

I know more happened on SD but I don't feel like typing more. just wannit to get the Eddie/Rey storyline off my chest. I don't see anything on Raw thats even near as good as this feud.

I was thinking. with Eddie, Chavo and MNM contantly beating down Rey, Rey has no one to stand up for him. I think this is the best time to bring in Phycosis and Guerrera to team with Mysterio on this feud. that would be fucking killer.

Figures that the one time I miss smackdown in months and it's a super good one. Oh well... maybe I'll get to see some clips on RAW. sad

Yeah, great SD tonight. Almost everything was good from top to bottom. The storylines were told in the ring, with wrestling. The wrestling was great all round, too. And, yes, Eddie/Rey is an amazing fued. Both wrestling are doing a great job with, what seams to be, a solid storyline. It's really nice seeing Rey Rey in a main event spot. Laying it to MNM was sweet.

Cena's promo was great; pretty powerfull. JBL did a good job, too. Though, JBL needs to drop that belt, it's getting annoying. Hopefully it'll happen after Judgement Day. I'm still not a big JBL fan, but even I have to admit that his presentation of his character is pretty good.

Holy crap, Matt Morgan is fucking awsome! And it's not just because I hug the nuts of any wrestler who does a pump handle variation. tongue He's simply a GOOD big man, period. With a great finnisher, too. I look forward to watching his character develope. Hopefully the WWE doesn't just randomly drop him. But how about that pump handle variation!! Good stuff.

Other than that, I'm pretty much done, lol. Oh, Mileena is rock solid. Can she wrestle, though? Meh.

Speaking of Morgan, can anyone describe his finisher to me? He hasn't made his debut here yet (though he probably will this sunday). and what's written on his tights? it looks like ''filler''?

He lifts his opponent up as if he were about to vertical suplex him, lets him hang upside down for a second, then whips him back down to the mat in the opposite direction as if he were going to drop him face first (like a gourd buster or reverse suplex), only they flip completely head over heels and get "rock bottomed", to put it simply.

It's really one of those things that has to be seen to be believed (or understood), but try to imagine a hanging vertical suplex into a rock bottom or spinebuster. Crazy.

Jarrett's still vice pres of the company as far as I know. He just doesn't book the matches now, that's all. For instance, the NWA show that airs on the Fox Sports channel is owned & run by him.

I just can't wait because as far as I know, WWE is going back to USA Network in the fall, TNA might be signing a deal with Spike to fill the timeslot, I hope to God we are blessed with another Monday night war, like we were so long ago.

Yup, it's all but confirmed that the WWE is leaving Spike later this year and should be back on USA before the year is out. But as for TNA, there is no deal with them and Spike, that has all but fallen throughm instead, I believe a deal might be reached to get them on WGN. Don't really care about TNA much, it's kinda hard to follow them with no access to their shows, except the 3 hour ppvs, and who wants to waste money on them if you have no idea what the feuds/story lines are.

Good Smackdown last night. I don't like the idea of Eddie turning on Rey, but Eddie does work better as a heel, however, there are so many heels on SD already, an so few baby faces, that this is just the wrong time for him to make a heel turn. It should be interesting to see how the whole Rey/Eddie/Chavo thing plays out, maybe a reunion of Los Guerrerros??

I liked the Cena/JBL segment, Cena's promo was waayy better than JBL's, cause his promos bore me like Trips' do, "I'm a 'wrestling god' ", and "I'm the game and I'm that damn good", it just gets incrediblly nausiating after awhile, I just wish JBL die already (the character, not the acual man!). Carlito beating Holly is just stupid, and I think WWE must still be punishing Holly for some reason, to have him job to Carlito. I don't care what anyone says, Morgan may have some, and I use the term some loosely, wrestling ability, but unless he gets a gimmik that is good, I just can't like the guy, send him back to OVW before the draft, I'd hate to find him on Raw or something. Cena's rap video was not what I expected, and I didn't care for it much. Hope Undetaker returns to SD soon, to kick some more ass!

Why shouldn't Hardcore Holly job to Carlito? Holly IS a superstar jobber and Carlito's a top smackdown! superstar and former US champion. If anything, the WWE gave Hardcore Holly a present by having him on Smackdown! since he's usually on Velocity.

I'd support TNA if it didn't suck ass. The matches are short as shit, I remember watching Christopher Daniels versus some guy, and the match last a wopping minute with just three spots. The angles are always changing, everybody's always turning, and while the X title is constantly changing hands, the World title is always on Jeff Jarret.

The funny thing I noticed on the only 2 TNA pay-per-views (Victory Road and some other) that I've seen is that they mention the word WWE more often than JR and The King do... "here's whoever that used to work for the WWE" and stuff like that...

sad

He's only wrestled like 4 matches on TV, if that. I don't get why he got this huge push. Let him shine in the ring, instead of walking around for 4 months spitting apple and doing interviews.

Yea his first match he won the title, and got hurt. So he lost the title in his second or third match and was on the shelf for months.

However, while on the shelf, he was still a featured player on Smackdown, and even Wrestlemania, being involved with Stone Cold and Piper.

WTF? This thread was half way down on the second page....tisk tisk. tongue

RAW sported a good follow up to a superb SD. I missed the last 40 minutes, though, bleh.

Right off the bat, I have to say, Viscera was fucking great!! Look, I think his in ring "skill" is pure shit; but, damn, his promo work in fantastic. I don't remember it ever being that good. His work with Lilian was funny as hell. Even she had to fight and hold back from busting up laughing, it was great. I have a whole new respect for Viscera now. grin

Christy looking REALLY good, lol. And Tista's promo tonight was one the better ones I've seen him spit out. Can't wait for the tag of Benji and Y2J. WOOT!
