Triple H Injures Neck, Collapses Backstage At RAW

The Game goes down....

Triple H injured his neck on RAW with the injury causing him to collapse backstage following his angle with Batista at the end of the show.

Triple H originally injured his neck during his match with Rosey and The Hurricane. After the match, Triple H spent time icing down his neck. He went back out at the end of the show to work his angle with Batista where he reaggravated injury while taking a bump during the segment. Once he returned to the back, he briefly collapsed.

His neck injury is the likely reason that the advertised Triple H & Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels & Batista dark match did not happen following the RAW taping. It appeared during the show that dropping the match was a last second decision since Earl Hebner ran out and yelled to Lillian Garcia that the match was off. The injury looks to be the likely reason.

The injury may also be why Stephanie McMahon (Triple H's wife) did not attend the Smackdown taping last night or go on her scheduled trip to OVW today to evaluate talent.

No word yet on how serious the injury is or if Triple H will miss any significant time.

Doubt it he's still expected to work Raw next week! It's not really that bad from what I read. They think he might have just gotten a stinger, nothing to serious. As much as I hate the man as a wrestler, I don't want to ever see anything bad happen to anyone. No house shows for Raw this weekend, so he's got a few days to recover.

Candyman1014, to answer your question of who the WWE should fire, everyone here knows who should be gone; Shitsky, Heidenreich, any Raw Diva search rejects, Orlando Jordon, Masters, Christy Hemme. That's my list, too bad none of them will actually get fired.

I might watch SD tonight! Olympic got me interested in the Angle/Guerrero match, and I want to see Cena's new belt.

Will the Game be OK?

It is believed that Triple H's neck injury Monday night was just a stinger, and he should be able to work RAW in Madison Square Garden this Monday. The injury is definitely the reason why Stephanie McMahon missed the Smackdown taping and her scheduled trip to OVW to evaluate talent, as she wanted to stay with her husband. RAW has no house shows this weekend so Triple H will be able to rest until Monday.

I gotta say, that was one hellava entrance for MNM. the whole red carpet and paparazzi thing was really unique and pretty cool. and whoa! what a entrance from Melina. that split-leg thing from the ring was HOT!!. I see alot of potential for this new Tag Team and it looks like the WWE are really behind in pushing them. I'am glad to see that the WWE is trying to improve SD!'s Tag Team Division. can't wait to see how they do in the ring. I'am surprised they didn't mention Nitro's short run on Raw though.

Cena's new WWE Championship looks pretty cool. but I think it should be bit bigger. it looks almost the same size as the US title. but the overall design is tight though. the spinning WWE logo is a nice touch.

Angle Vs Eddie was a damn good match! proabally one of the best of 2005 so far!

I must say, Mileena's (sp) ring entrance is god tier, that's for damn sure. I was laughing my ass off at Carlito durring that, haha. His facial expression was priceless. MNM don't "look" half bad; we'll see where it goes, I guess.

The Eddie/Rey break up is going along nicely, IMO. It's kinda the same old, but with enough twists to keep it a little fresher than the more recent break ups. I'd still like to see Eddie not become a full time heel. Make him kind of a hesitant heel. The crowd is so behind him, it will be interesting to see how the WWE, Eddie and all those involved in the angle deal with that.

Eddie vs. Angle was fantastic. Great match rhythm, psychology, crowd play, everything. It's fun watching eddie devise knew ways to lie, cheat and steal, too.

WTF is up with those Shane twins? They were signed, werent' they? Haven't heard much about New Jack and the group of cruisers coming in, too. Bleh.

Oh, and just a little tid bit. Shaun O'Hair competed in and won his first K-1 match - some japanese guy, forget his name and i'm to lazy to look for it. Kinda nice to see that he's off doing well for himself. I thought SO was pretty damn good, actually. Ever since his Kronic days - I believe it was Kronic - I had enjoyed his work; meh.

I read the Shane Twins might debut on Raw soon. Raw's Tag Division is worse than SD!'s IMO, Raw desperatlly needs some new Tag Teams right now so hopfully they debute on Raw real soon.

I loved how Carlito was just kicking back on the chair eating an apple while MNM was beating down Rey. Carltio is a class act I tell ya!

Haven't seen Smackdown yet, but I just saw Cena's new title.
I hated Cena's stupid looking US title (although I gotta say, the usual US title design isn't all that good), but this new WWE championship belt design isn't half bad. It looks a little less like a tacky toy and a little more like an expensive prize this time. Kinda makes me wonder if they're going to do this more often or something, though. It'd be interesting if they did it for each new champ (however highly unlikely that may be).

Watching Raw, I was pretty damn impressed with Davari's match. His elevation on that top rope leg drop was sweet. I like him.
Or at least, I like his ringwork, not his stupid gimmick.

I'm starting to like this Chris Masters chap more too, but I dunno how he's going to fare against bigger opponents, because a lot of the stuff he does seems to involve tossing people around like cruisers (actually, they have been cruisers - how about that). I don't like his gimmick either, but he's pretty good at selling it so I guess it isn't so bad. One thing though, is that he needs a new way to take guys to the mat when he applies the full nelson because having everybody kick their feet out then conveniantly land on their knees every time isn't believable. At all.

How sick would it be if he used a dragon suplex to take people to the mat, then turned them over and pulled back like a camel clutch full nelson, all the while maintaining the hold (ha, like you'd see that sort of thing in the WWE).

Ah also, I just read this at WWE.com, and wanted to comment -

I must say, that I to liked MNM, and even though they are a little lame in some areas, SD needs new tag teams, as does Raw (The Shane Twins), otherwise just do us all a big favor and do away with the tag divisions of both shows.

Loved Cena's new World Title belt, really better than his US title. This is one belt replica I'd like to get. But I wonder what happens to the old title? JBL has it, so I hope they don't do something stupid like have him wear it every time he comes out.

Carlito's Cabana segment was ok, not great, but ok. Let's see how far this goes in the coming weeks.

BREAKING NEWS: Matt Buys WWE!

A surprise press conference was held today at the offices of World Wrestling Entertainment to announce the company's new owner. Matt Hardy.

Hardy was terminated from the company over a week ago due to what they claimed was "inapproprate internet actions". This action had to do with a situation between his former girlfriend, Amy "Lita" Dumas, and Adam "Edge" Copland. Hardy recieved the news while on the injured list for a torn ACL.

The support he recieved was overwhelming to say the least. From posts on his website to online petitions by fans wanting the WWE to rehire Hardy back , filled the web.
One form of support came from fans in the form of WWE stock. Hardy aquired 20 percent of the campany as a way to "get back at the company",according fans of Hardy.
Still feeling deeply hurt and vengeful, Hardy took it upon himself to see how muchmore stock he could purchase with the huge amount of money he had saved while working for the WWE...and selling Lita's used panties on E-Bay.

With a stroke of luck, an investment web site was selling WWE stock at ten cents a share. Which was nine cents more than it was really worth.
Hardy purchased as much stock as he could. After all was said and done, Hardy had aquired 99 percent of company, with the remaining stock owned by the MacMahon family.

The press conference was attended by Vince MacMahon, his wife Linda, and the WWE board members. Vince made the announcement about the the change over. It was said he had a tear in his eye.

Matt Hardy then took over the event saying how happy he was returning to the WWE and how, as the new owner, will make changes that will bring fans back to the world of wrestling.

The list of changes includes:

-More wrestling, less storylines.
-Cancel the new diva search contest(which was greeted by cheers from the press)
-Push younger talent to create new superstars.
-Rehire Rhyno and Molly Holly.
-More wrestling, less storylines.
-Firing all divas who cannot wrestle.(which leaves only 2)
-Have John Cena kicked in the crotch by every employee in the company for ruining the WWE championship belt
-And more wrestling, less storylines.

It was at this point that Vince MacMahon started screaming ."He's crazy! No storylines?! Actual wrestling on a wrestling program?! He'll ruin this company!" After that he fainted.

But the real question was what will be Hardy's plans for Edge and Lita.
"Well as for Edge, I see a new direction for his character." said Hardy. "He'll come to the ring dressed in a giant diaper, cry like a baby, and poop his pants. I know it will never get over with the fans, but what do I care. He f****ed me over!"

Lita will be sent to the companys development camp, OVW. And the only way she can get back to the WWE is doing something involving the number 37. Something, Hardy says, that Kevin Smith fans would get.

The changes will start the monday after the next Raw PPV, Backlash.

And on a side note, Triple H is filing for divorice from Stephanie MacMahon. The couple have been married for nearly 2 years.
He has also been seen sending secret admire notes to Matt Hardy, declairing his love for the new owner

~ You thought the Hardy/Lita/Edge story was done! NO! Not until you get the WHOLE story. And who found out? Meltzer? Keller? try The Mic of the DOI! He found out the gruesome details of how this thing went down. Here's some of it:

Basically, Edge's wife called Matt about her suspicions and gave him a phone number Edge had been calling. It turns out that # is to a second cell phone that Lita had and hid from Matt. While Lita was sleeping, Matt took the second phone and read the text messages. The messages were to and from Edge, and included phrases like "I love you", "I miss you" and blahblahblah. Matt woke her up and confronted her, she started crying and admitted that she was in love with Edge, but she said she still "cared" about Matt, too. Matt said it was over and told her to get out, and Lita said she would go to live with her mom. Matt later tried to contact Lita (WHY?) and called Lita's mom... And Lita wasn't there. She was staying in Edge's house in Tampa! Matt planned on confronting Edge backstage at a Raw show, but he was told by WWE management to stay home. He posted some stuff on the net, the WWE didn't like it, so they fired him. WHAT THE FUCK!
