Personally I like the left hook finisher for Jindrak. It comes out of nowhere, and it sounds like a mother! But, he used to do the mark of excellence as a finisher when he was on Velocity as the Reflection of Perfection (and I also saw him using the mark of excellence in a tag team match on Velocity where he teamed with Luther to take on two jobbers). It was basically a spinning out powerbomb, it looked pretty cool to me and I wish he'd start doing it again.

Raw is the more popular/watched brand, and that's why it gets Main Event status at most co-ppv events.

Actually I think it's more of a Triple H thing. The Survivor Series Classic elimination tag match for RAW was the main event instead of a WWE championship match.

Alpha and Olympic, are you going to any of the pre-Wrestlemania events? These sound cool:

The activities begin on Tuesday, March 29, when WWE Superstars hold the first of several "WWE Fan Frenzy(TM)" autograph signings. The signings will be held each day leading up to WrestleMania 21 at major retailers such as Toys R' Us, Tower Records and Blockbuster Video.

On Thursday, March 31, at noon, WWE Superstars will invade Hollywood and Highland with a special WrestleMania 21 wrestling exhibition free to the public. Westbound lanes of Hollywood Boulevard in front of Hollywood and Highland Center will be closed to traffic to accommodate the event. On Thursday, from 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) until 11 p.m., the House of Blues on Sunset will host the THQ Superstar Challenge, which features the WWE Superstars competing against one another in a WrestleMania21 Xbox Tournament. Tickets for this event can be obtained from House of Blues or through Ticketmaster.

On Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2, the WWE's "Road to WrestleManiaTour", completes its journey across the United States since kicking off in mid-January. The "retail-tainment" tour's final destination is Westfield Shoppingtown Fox Hills, 294 Fox Hills Mall in Culver City. WWE Superstars and Legends will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs. For more information, please call (310) 390-5073. Sponsors of the "Road to WrestleMania Tour" are Army National Guard, Mattel, and the Esuvee Safety Campaign.

Also, Raw is from the Staples center the next night, are you guys gonna go to that as well? I'm jealous, I'd love to go to Wrestlemania, I'm sure it's going to be great.

If Undertaker wins.Everyone has to put "Drfatality Is THE KING!" in their sigs.

Deal?

I don't think so, but maybe enough people will take you up on that! I might put "Drfatality Is THE KING!" in my sig cause I like ya! Since Taker is going to beat Orton, as I said in my last post, cause the WWE has no immediate plans for Orton after Mania cause he's "injured", people who take this bet will put "Drfatality Is THE KING!" as their sigs! Orton sucks!

BOW TO ME!!!j/k

I have a bad feeling Orton is going to win.I know he won't be used too much after the match but the WWE is trying to make his "Legend Killer" gimmick work.IMO,it's one of the dumbest gimmicks I've seen besides The American Hero. When he becomes a legend what is he going to do?Kill himself? My cousin loves Orton but I don't see what the big fuss is about him:

Special move is a rip off of the Diamond Cutter.
Ring Attire is plain
The Legend Killer gimmick
From what I've seen some of his promos(like his segment with Taker)sucked. He can't act that well.
He dosen't get over with the crowd

He seems like a wrestler that would do well on Velocity or Heat.He dosen't
have anything that sticks out.He reminds me of Maven.Im looking foward to the sumo match. How did this stuff start off between Big Show and the Sumo guy?Or is it one of those fun matches for WM?

When the WWE went to Japan the former sumo champ was sitting front row and big show called him into the ring for a stare down. Then they shook hands. Then a couple weeks ago on Smackdown Big Show was told by Funaki that he was being challenged by the sumo guy (Akibono sp?).

Orton not getting over with the crowd? You crazy?

He isnt the greatest, but he's good.I like him,but I still hope that Taker wins at mania,he cuts some good promos...sometimes.He's still really young so he has alot of time to improve.Legend killer gimmick is awesome in my opinion when its used against great legends. He is a much better heel then face,is a natural heel in my opinion. When I saw him at an autograph session in Niagara Falls he came off as very cocky and arrogant, but he was also really nice. His attitude in wwe though, has always been perfect for a heel.

Man,evolution has really done alot. They took Randy Orton from a mid card jobber and turned him into what he is today, and now they take Batista, who was basically a nobody before them, and look at him today.Evolution was great while it was around, looks like its gonna die now though. Will be for the better.

*goes insane* I cant wait till a TNA game comes out o_O I believe one is in the making right now, would be awesome.I would buy it whether it sucked or ruled.Playing as the Fallen Angel,Chris Sabin,AJ Styles,Abyss and a hell of alot more would be awesome.

So would I. Just to support TNA if nothing else.

I have an uneasy feeling about this Orton/Taker match too.sad

Thing is though, the whole legend killer gimmick doesn't make any sense because he hasn't killed any legends. These guys jobbing to Orton means nothing. It isn't as if when Jake the Snake gets dropped by Orton people turn around and question the legitimacy of Robert's wrestling skill or anything. These legends Orton is 'killing' are still great because of what they did then, no matter how much they get their asses kicked now.

Stupid, nonsensical gimmick.
Unless Orton went back in time and kicked the crap out of these legends to stop them becoming legends or something...

Now thats an angle.tongue

For some odd reason, I've got a feeling that Jake's gonna want some retribution off Orton coming wrestlemania. Whether it be during or after the Taker match, I seriously doubt he'll let Orton get away with his little RKO sneak attack. Of course, I could be wrong.

Jake looked like he was sooo out of it, (likelly due to the drugs!), that he probablly doesn't even remember doing the Raw show, LOL!!! grin tongue

Any way, I think the whole "Legend Killer" gimmik might work, albeit with someone other than Orton, and if it had been done years ago, maybe in the late 80's early 90's, but not now and not with Orton. I want to know what's up with his stupid shirt he had on Raw, did anyone besides me notice that some of the names he had on there, really shouldn't have been on there? He should only include names he's actually got the 1,2,3 on and ARE Legends, like Foley, Micheals, Flair. Not ones like Booker T, who I don't think of as a legend, at least not now, and guys like Austin, and Harley Race, all he did was spit in Race's face, and got a sneak-attack RKO on Austin, he never beat them in a ring 1,2,3. His shirt is just like him, a big joke! grin tongue

Taker's going to kick Orton's ass at Mania, otherwise he might as well retire right after Mania, cause I don't know about anyone else, but if I was like Taker, and lost to Orton, I'd be too embarassed to ever show my face around WWE again! It's something you just wouldn't be able to live down!

Thanks Niko,

To prove Orton is a "Legend Killer" have him fight Undertaker outside in an alley some where. With cameras and the match HAS to be unscripted. Then we'll get to see does he really have the skill.Remember this dumb idea?

Remember this Press Release from 2001? Thought you might find it interesting:
STAMFORD, Conn., March 23, 2001 - World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWF) today announced its purchase of the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) brand from Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS Inc.), a division of AOL Time Warner.

The purchase of WCW creates a tag team partnership with the World Wrestling Federation brand that is expected to propel the sports entertainment genre to new heights.

In keeping with the company's strategic alliance with Viacom, new WCW programming is anticipated to air on TNN in the near future. The possibility of cross-brand storylines and intrigue, however, may start as early as Monday night during WWF Raw Is War on TNN and the final performance of WCW Monday Nitro Live on Turner Network Television (TNT).

The binding agreement provides World Wrestling Federation Entertainment with the global rights to the WCW brand, tape library, and other intellectual property rights.

"This acquisition is the perfect creative and business catalyst for our company," said Linda McMahon, Chief Executive Officer of World Wrestling Federation Entertainment. "This is a dream combination for fans of sports entertainment. The incendiary mix of World Wrestling Federation and WCW personalities potentially creates intriguing storylines that will attract a larger fan base to the benefit of our advertisers and business partners, and propel sports entertainment to new heights."

"The acquisition of the WCW brand is a strategic move for us," said Stuart Snyder, President and Chief Operating Officer for World Wrestling Federation Entertainment. "We are assuming a brand with global distribution and recognition. We are adding thousands of hours to our tape library that can be repurposed for home videos, television, Internet streaming, and broadband applications. The WCW opens new opportunities for growth in our Pay Per View, live events, and consumer products divisions, as well as the opportunity to develop new television programming using new stars. We also will create additional advertising and sponsorship opportunities. In short, it is a perfect fit."

Thank God Rey Mysterio Vs Eddie Guererro was annoucned. that should be one hellava match at Mania. I'am really looking forward to this one.

The Kurt Angle/Sherri segment had to be the most funniest fucking moments I've ever seen on WWE TV! I was in tears when Angle started singing his version of HBK's song. Angle is the greatest entertainer in the WWE bar none!

Yeah, SD was good shit. Rey and Eddie was great. Rey Rey showed some decent psychology in is promo/mic work, which he doesn't do often; so that was nice to see. Angle was gold like always. I hate this woman-hitting shit, though. That's two shows in a row...yeah, i'm one of those tools. But it's always gotten to me, even when I was uber little. It wouldn't be so bad if there was some re-course or retaliation for it, but there never is. You never see that girl push the dude off a balcony, through a table, or give them repeated chair shots in retaliation. If that shit would happen more often, I wouldn't bitch so much.

The end was fantastic, too. Cena was so fucking on, it was increadible. Perfect timing, perfect wording, perfect everything. JBL did a great job, too. Some people don't like cena's "poop" and "ghey" remarks, but I find them hella funny when delivered correctly. Then again, I'm highly immature, so whatever. tongue

Yeah, the Eddie/Rey match will be good, but I doubt that it'll steal the show. Now don't get me wrong, I like both of them just as much as everyone else, but with all the other high-calibre matches, and the fact that the WWE practically waited till the last minute to make this match, I think it'll get lost in the card.

As for the tag titles, the fact that neither brand's tag titles are being used this year, shows me how little the WWE actually cares for the tag division, and the same can be said for the Crusierweight title, unless of course they wait again till the last minute and add a Crusierweight title match.

A few tidbits of news from sescoops.com:

** Spike TV will air Sunday Night Heat at 6 PM on April 3rd due to WrestleMania.

** Spike TV will not be airing Velocity on April 2nd. In it's place will be the Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony. (Not sure if they mean the 2005 or 2004 HOF Ceremony)

** Spike TV will be airing the finale of The Ultimate Fighter on April 9th from 9 PM to 11:30 PM. This means Velocity will not be airing at 11 PM. Whether Velocity will air at all that weekend has not been announced yet.

The Cruiserweight title match was already set for Mania. Paul London won a #1 Contenders match on Velocity with the Chavo/London Match happening at mania, but Chavo got injured at a house show where he punctured his cheek bone. Hopfully theres a back-up plan for this.

regardless if Rey/Eddie was made at the last minute. I'am still really looking foward to it, It does have a possibility to be a show stealer to. even if its lost in the card. Its still on the card.

FYI - I dunno if he's back or not, as I haven't read anything on any news sites, but wwe.com says Candice Michell and RON SIMMONS will be at an autograph signing this week.

Is Farooq back? Anyone hear anything about this? It's on WWE.com mainpage, bottom, in the 'Appearances' box.

Oh, I didn't know that about the Cruiserweight title match. Must have missed that portion of SD. If Chavo is injured then the WWE will either not have the match at Mania, or save it for Heat.

As for Rey/Eddie, like I said, I'm looking forward to the match as well, and I hope it's a good one, but WWE should have done better in promoting it. They did an article on it in the latest SD Magazine well before it was even mentioned on tv, and I thought that was rather stupid, simplly cause not everyone might get the SD magazine. So here's hoping even though they waited till the last minute to announce this match, and it may get lost in the card, like you said Olympic, at least it's on the card, so let's hope it's good.
