true, but i think that this ladder match has more at stake in the actual match than a rumble, IMO.

It'll be great having Janetty back on Raw. I just hope he gets a singles push as well, it would be nice to see him go for the IC title again, or him and Shawn get the Tag titles again, or even if he went for the World title!

The whole deal with the Chris Masters thing is not impressing me at all. here you have this guy..supposed to be God's gift to the ring, and they're only putting him in squash matches! Frankly, if he's gonna impress me, he needs to go up against at least a mid-carder, actually BREAK A SWEAT, and still pull out a win if he wants some cred.

I agree! He's too much like Lesner was when he was first brought in, quick power moves, and no real exciting stuff unlike Lesner though, I see no real future potential with Masters, he's a joke. Masters' matches are boring, and I'm glad he ain't been on Raw the last few weeks. Here's hoping the WWE decided to send him back to OVW for a bit more training.

IMO, the Money in the Bank ladder match has the potential to be the best match on the card this year. You have 4 main-eventers in Kane, Jericho, Benoit, and Edge, and two above average mid-carders in Christian and Shelton, competeing for a WHC shot anytime in the year. My only thought is; what if there was a clause in the contract saying the winner could challenge for the WWE Championship on SD! That has a lot more potential for a good storyline for the next year

Sheldon is really more mid-carder than Christian, and I agree that this is going to be a good match and I like your idea for the winner to choose either the Raw or SD World titles (though like Zentile said, that's better suited for RR), but I would hardly go so far as to say this will be the best match on the card. There are better matches, for example, both matches that feature stars from Raw and SD! Those have the potential to be good matches, with Angle/Micheals maybe being one of the best on the card. I think the Taker/Orton match might be a squash match with Taker easily going over Orton.

I agree, The Ladder is definlly going to be one of the best damn matches on the card. About the World Title situation, Its just for the World Title, sence "storyline wise" it was Bischoff's idea, why would he write in the contract that the winner can compete for any of the World Title? He wants the best for his Brand, why would he risk loosing his wrestlers to the his competition? and besides, the Ladder match is a Raw match. so logiclly its only for the World Title.
The Winner of the Rumble can choose which title to go after sence the Royal Rumble Match involves both brands.

See what the roster split does?:
We're told that there were major travel issues getting out of Knoxville, Tenn over the weekend and nearly half of the SmackDown! talent did not make the show scheduled for Hattiesburg, Miss.
We're told that only eight wrestlers and one diva made it to the show. They did a title tournament where many of the same names wrestled twice. Many of the big names were able to make the show while the rest of the talent remained stuck in Knoxville.
On a side note, Eddie Guerrero's wife came along with him for the weekend trip

I agree, with you. They need to give this Chis Masters guy a bigger push rather than him simply pounding cruiserweights week after week. He in a way reminds of Mordigut (Mordicai) in the sense that they both started off mashing wrestlers much smaller than them. How's that supposed to make an impact?

Just wanted to say love him or hate him, HHH just cut the best promo I've seen in about 10 years.
And Y2J and Benjamin just made two of the best middleweights in WWE (edge/christian) look SILLY in the ring. Benjamin has all the tools to get the to next level, tho he would need to talk a lot more.
edit - Ok Niko, you might be on your own defendin Randy Orton. That piece of shit had the nerve to drop MY babe on MY birthday. I like him, but I love Stacy, and I can not tolerate this. lol

I knew you would be pissed about that I was saying as soon as Randy asked her out to the ring 'He's going to RKO her!' then when he kissed her im just thinking 'rko......rko...wheres the rko?' Then he finally did it lol,she did take it good though

I agree, Stace sold that RKO like a champ...even though I hate the shit out of Orton.
Y2J/Shelton vs. Edge/CLB was sweet; great match. Benji with tthat swanton over the ropes was fucking sick. WM is going to be off the chain . Great matches lined up. Oh, and I too am marking out for the ladder match.
Yeah, Trips promo was pretty damn good, though, a bit long. Heh, would have been funny if somebody yelled something like, "I'm going to get my second hotdog now, Trips!!" '
Oh, and Tista needs some new moves, heh.

Man, I was disapointed that World Tag Team Titles weren't annoucned for Mania. They need to have at least one of the tag titles on the line at mania, and sence Eddie and Rey are going to face each other. they could of at least build up a World Tag Title Match.
Regal/Eugene Vs Hussan and Daviri could of been the perfect choise. but the WWE screwed that up.
SmackDown! better announce tons of new matches this week. I want my Wrestlemania experince to be top notch!
EDIT: I just saw the "Taxi Driver" spoof at WWE.com. I gotta say, that was the funniest one of them all so far. so many great one liners on that trailor!!, Batista, Big Show, Snitsky, Carlito and all were great in it! definlly my favorite one!"

Love this Jannetty deal.
I'm kinda worried though. I get the feeling the Rockers will become a another tag team staple, and just sit there in the mid card facing the same teams over and over, going nowhere, and getting more or less ignored like most of the teams are/have. Last thing I want is for Micheals or Jannetty to get overlooked.
On the other hand, this could be the kick in the ass the tag division needs. Maybe Vince will pay more attention to it now, and make the belts actually mean something again.
Yeah. Love him, but clotheslines and are irish whips are getting old. He could probably just make even the basics, like a vertical suplex or backbreaker look great with his sort of power.
Last thought here; the World Heavyweight Championship was originally WCW's belt right? How weird is it, that the biggest most important belt in the (WWF), is/was WCW's? I think it's sorta funny.
I bet people would have never thought a few years ago that the main event for Wrestlemania 21 would be for a WCW belt.

Sorry, I had one last rant; this time about Jindrak: WHAT THE HELL is with is Left Hook for a finisher?!?!? My dead grandfather could put together a better finisher than him..granted, unlike Masters, Jindrak has the potential to become a top player on SD!. He just needs to get his affairs in order, get his over-inflated ego out of his @$$, and get a better move arsenal, b/c this just is not working for him..maybe like a top-rope roll-over powerbomb? That ALWAYS looks cool, no matter who does it. lol
Ok, now i seriously am done ranting. lol

That's the idea behind the WWE still using the belt. It's kinda a tribute and an insult to the WCW legacy, and Vince's last slap in the face to the WCW legacy as well! I thought it was funny. I never liked WCW towards the end it's existence, cause the crap they were trying was exactlly what Vince had already done, and it didn't work for him and sure as hell didn't work for them! Also, it just hasn't been Mania 21 where the "Big Gold Belt" from WCW has been defended, it's been like that the last 3 Manias, starting with Jericho defending what was the "Undisputed" title against Trips at Mania 18, and the belt was used there, then 19 and 20!
I know Blade is pissed with Orton as we all are for RKO'ing Stacey, but you had to have seen it coming, hell, Stevie Wonder could've seen that! I hate the bastard, but it sure gives him great heel heat for his match with and defeat at the hands of Taker!

Two news tidbits from twnpnews.com:
** The veteran Marty Jannetty has mainly been hired by WWE to work with some of the younger talent in the company.
- Randy Orton is off the Post-WrestleMania lineup's because of his bad shoulder. At this moment in time they are just hopeful he will be healthy enough to work against the Undertaker.
(Since the WWE has no plans for him after Mania cause of the injury, this gives some confirmation that the prick-ass bitch will lose at Mania, Taker is 13 - 0!!)

Haha. I don't think anybody's stupid enough to take that bet.
Anyway, yeah, Jindrak's slap (and it is a slap) is pathetic. Who'd have thought the RKO, F-U, or clothesline from hell would ever be better than another finisher?
I think i'm going to keep count of shitty finishing moves from now on, heh.
BTW, on the subject of finishers, what's going to happen when Juvi hits WWE?
Him and London are just going to have the exact same move?
Maybe Juvi could drop the 450 as a finisher, and just keep with his Juvi driver or something. Would kinda suck to break tradition though.

I don't know why the WWE keeps on stating that HHH had never defeated Benoit (until recently). If you remember correctly, it was Benoit's very first match in the WWE (his debut with the Radicals: Saturn, Eddie, & Malenko) to which he fought & lost against HHH on SD. Ah, well. I suppose only matches in recent years (this day & age) count.
Anyone who watched last weeks SD, & saw the Kidman vs London match, could you please reiterate who won? I missed that match.

I think the only reason why Vince still used the WCW Title because its the only logical title to use for Raw sence SD! has the WWE title. and it makes sence to. Sence Bischoff is the GM, hes had connections with WCW which is why he uses the WCW World Title for his brand. Although it always irrates me when ever the theres a Co-brand PPV, the WCW World Title always seems to be the Main-Event over the Company's Home Grown WWE Title. To me, even thought both Titles are prestigious titles, with the World Title going from the NWA/WCW/WWE, and the WWE title WWWF/WWF/WWE. the WWE title will always be more important than the World Title, for one, Its WWE's original title and had a longer history in the WWE. plus, the WWE title had more memorial feuds over it, Hogan/Andre, Austin/Rock, Bret Hart/Michaels, Rock/Foley, Rock/Triple H etc. while WCW's World Title feuds weren't in the same calibure as WWF's at the time. the only memorial thing about the World Title is when David freakin arquette won it which was fucking stupid. and Benoit's Title win at WrestleMania 20. The only good World Champion thats ever held the World Title these past three years was Chris Benoit. WWE Title > World Title
They also fought at No Mercy 2000 one on one, and Benoit lost that match to. Looks like they're only counting the times when they started feuding last year, where Triple H has never beaten Benoit during that feud. or they proabally just forgot.
and Paul London won that match.
