OK, top three matches of all time for me:
The Dudley Boys VS Hardy Boys VS Edge & Christian, Triple Threat Ladder Match for the Tag Championship at some WrestleMania.
Undertaker VS Mankind, Hell In The Cell, some King Of The Ring (I think maybe 98 but maybe not).
Kurt Angle VS Brock Lesnar, WrestleMania XIX main event...

Triple threat TLC match The Dudly Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz. Crazy match... don't see that kinda stuff anymore.
Worst match of all time would have to be Brock Lesner vs. Goldberg. I was so hyped about this match and was so disapointed by it.

JBL OWNS ALL OF YOU!
Seriously, JBL was fucking GOLD on SmackDown! tonight!. "Vanilla Ice Rapper Guy" lol!. and the Inflated Godzilla bit was just hysterical!. how can anyone not like JBL now, he is just awesome!. and it all turned out to be a swerve to knock out The Big Show. didn't see that coming. JBL is one of the most entertaining World Champions in the WWE. MILES ahead of Triple H. JBL has been Champion aslong as Triple H, but unlike Triple H, JBL is a GOOD Champion. he could hold the WWE title for a couple of more month and I still wouldn't mind. hes that entertaining. JBL is making SmackDown really entertaining right now!. I hope he continues to be one of SD!'s Main-eventers after he looses his Championship. he deserves it.
Anyways, the rest of SmackDown I thought was good. Eddie/Kenzo, Funaki/Chavo, Cena/Jordon and definlly Mysterio/Angle were all very good matches.
Did anyone see the Benoit/Jericho/Christian/Stacy "Basic Intinct" commerical. man, that was brilliant. these Wrestlemania movie spoof commericals have actually been pretty hillarious so far.

There was probably a reason to why the Goldberg Vs Lesnar was rubbish.
Goldberg and Lesnar were big names at the time so for them to be at wrestlemania would be good for ratings. However with both of them leaving they would had to have made it so the story line couldn't be continued therefore a rubbish match ending.....Though Goldberg won.

Mysterio vs Angle was an awsome match... best one I've seen in a very long time.

Just to clear the air:
Hogan Movies:
Hogan movies were made because the name Hogan put asses in seats. Hogan was on top of the world when those movies were made, and he got paid MAD money for making them. Just like the Rock is doing now. Hogan and the Rock made movies in the primes of their fame. Sure Hogan's sucked, but he just did what he was paid to do, it was the movie studio's putting the money up for his services.
Goldberg Movies:
Goldberg makes movies because he needs the money. Studio's use him because he's a known name, but he's not gonna put asses in the seats based on his name alone. He is not at the height of his popularity, and not working.

I thought that match could have been better than it was but the crowd really ruined it completely. They were more focused on bashing them for leaving than to witness a match between the two and it just sucked all the way through.
I thought the crowd completed the match! It was good, IMO, even without the crowd, dispite everybody's hatred for the match. But really, it just made it alot cooler that the crowd hated these two. I hate Brock Lesnar, though I do like Goldberg.

Your kidding right? the crowd wasn't the reason why the match sucked. Goldberg and Lesnar were the reason why the match sucked. did you see the match? Did you really expect the crowd to just sit on their ass the whole time and jusr forgive them fo putting on one of the worst matches ever? Even JR and King were Achknowleding that it was a bad match.

Yes it did suck and the crowd didn't help either. It was supposed to be a "tense" match, more like a test of strength and pride than a wrestling match but it ended up being absolute crap, it's true. Try pulling it off with people chanting "goodbye" and "you suck" and it's a lot harder... Bottom line is that the match sucked anyway...
Well I didn't think the match sucked, personally. I liked the heavy display of power from the two, like the 'equal' shoulder tackles. I liked the F-5 kickout, and the Jackhammer kickout, and I fell in love with the Military Press into a modified Spear that Goldberg does to Lesnar. That was a really cool and rare move.

I got a question.
I've never seen a single Lesnar match, seeing as how I only started to watch WWE (again) fairly recently. I know he "accomplished" a lot, but was he actually good, or was he just... big?

To tell you the truth. Lesnar was actually a really great athlete. one of the best the WWE has had. he has an amuture background so that helped alot. his wrestling style was simliar to Kurt Angles. alot of the best matches from 2002-2004 were from him. he moved alot quicker than a typical big man his size. He had great matches with the likes of The Rock, Chris Benoit, The Undertaker, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle and others. if you happen to catch a Lesnar match that wasn't at Wrestlemania 20. watch him go. he was a damn good wrestler.
Its just sad how a unique athlete like Lesnar left the WWE. His final WWE match with Goldberg at WMXX was NOT a typical Lesnar match. it was one of the worst matches in WWE history. The reason why he didn't put any effort at all in that match was because he was leaving the WWE after the event. so there was no reason try to put on a good match. he left on a sour note. I have a feeling we'll see Lesnar back in the WWE though before years end. the WWE needs an athlete like Lesnar in their ring.
some people will PROBABLY disagree with me with views on Lesnar, but in my 5 years of watching the WWE. I can saftly say that Lesnar was one of the best the WWE has had. and thats my opinion.
I've never been a fan of Lesnar overall, but hell yeah, he was an AMAZING athlete. Any guy his size that can do a shooting star press deserves alot of credit.
Not to mention the INCREDIBLE superplex he did to the Big Show, which literally broke the ring inside! I don't think I'd chant ''HOLY SHIT'' louder for anything else. Too bad it's never going to happen again...I wish they'd have JBL superlex the Big Show.

PULEEZE! We all know JBL is to weak to pull off a power move like that on Big Show!
As for Lesner, yeah he was an ok wrestler. You really believed him as a monster heel. Not too many rookies can claim a victory over such great names as Hogan and Taker! I personally wished we could have seen him take on Batista, or Kane, those would have been great matches. He put on some great matches when he was in the company, and some not so great. I bet his match with Goldberg at Mania would've been better had they both not decided to leave. The WWE was going to put him over Goldberg until they found out he was going to leave, then Goldberg protested and the result got changed. Oh well, if/when Lesner decides to come back and/or if/when Vince decides to let him back, we'll see how well he does.

im in need of your help, i was on sunday night heat this once talking about mick foley and one of his matches, it was great, they showed the match while i was talking about it, ( in the way the WWE so likes to do, slow motion, black and white, etc ) anyway, i never got a chance to see it cuz my pops missed the first 5 minutes taping it, i was wondering if theres anyway you guys could help me find that episode of heat, or where i could find it, i did see it while i was in the club on the big screen across the stage, ( fuckin awesome ) but id like to have it as well because of the performance cypress hill put on, ( the only reason i was there ) it was a tribute to mick foley, and the time was in early november of 2000, if anyone knows where i could obtain this episode, i would REALLY appreciate it, thanks
it might be early december 2000 im not sure.. but cypress hill performed i think thats all u need to know, thanks again

Ah, I just saw Smackdown from Japan. Absolutely excellent.
So, after seeing JBL do his tranq gun bit, i'm finally convinced, and i've changed my mind. JBL isn't worthless. In fact, he's highly entertaining. Sure his in ring skills are still average, and his finisher is still a shit clothesline, but damn, that guy knows funny.
So I now admit I don't hate him.
I'd still rather somebody else be champ, but as it is, he's more than tolerable.

I agree with you... Lesnar was a damn good wrestler... he combined the quickness of a light heavyweight with the power of a super heavyweight and excellent technical skills to create a wrestler that wwe fan's have never and will probably not see again for a long time. I tought he was a excellent overall wrestler and I miss him from Smackdown, but I do understand why he doesn't wanna work fo the wwe...it's a hard life being on the road 24/7.
