Actually, after WMXX, Taker beat Booker T at Judgement Day and he beat The Dudley Boyz at the Great American Bash. he lost to JBL at Summerslam and No Mercy.

So Far, Taker's PPV record for 2004 is 4-2

Pretty good and the year is almost done. I thought his match was good. See his face after the match? He was like "man maybe I misjudged this guy, maybe he can do a good match." I think that was legit surprise on Taker's part.smile

Anyone believe the rumors that Wrestlemainia XX1 is Taker's last ppv before retirement? I guess we'll have to wait and see. He's said that he wants to go out with an undefeated Mainia record, so I hope Vince lets him.

All in all I was impressed for the most part with the show. I hate that fagget Orlando Jordon, god, I wish someone would kill him! JBL should never have been aloud to wear that title, Booke T basically carried the whole match. The two elimination style matches were good, the right teams won both, I hate that Spike kept his title, and wow, I wonder how much of the Trish/Lita thing was a work, anyone see how hard Trish smacked the steps? Normally there's enough warning for the wrestlers to get some protection with their hands, she hit full force, and if her nose wasn't broke from the chair shot, it sure as hell was after!wink

Well I'm glad that JBL is still champion I actually really like him (Especially over Booker T...Though obviously I am the only one)

I am also shocked that HHH stepped aside for someone else to shine for a change.

I'm dissapointed with Lita not winning the womens title though I am glad she kicked her ass.

I was expecting the Undertaker to win and for Benjamin to win his match too.

I'm also finding it very funny how Bischoffs hair is now grey since it was shaved...the pansy (why die your hair?)

Nah your ain't the only one. I've been enjoying JBL ever sence he won the title. And I think hes actually had a better title run than most expected. Him and Jordon are gold together. I didn't mind much that JBL retained the title. But if it was up to me I'd perfer that Booker won the title last night. but eh, theres always next month.

I personally think The Undertaker in general is getting a little stale, his badass gimmick, his deadman gimmick, everything.
I'd be actually quite happy for him to "retire" after Wrestlemania, then return a few years down the track...

Imagine, in 5 years, Snitsky V Heidenreich in a hell in a cell match for the biggest title in the industry (hey with the way things are headed...), then out of nowhere, 'Taker unexpectedly returns and pwns them both, dealing Mick Foley's 98 KOTR fate to the both of them.
That alone would boost WWE's ratings bt 677 percent.

10 things the WWE should do:

Get A better Logo

Go back to the Federation feel(with the blue and red ropes)

Get rid of the draft

Get better story writers

Better Special Moves that are unique(I hated the "Super Kick"phase when everyone was using it)

Better Theme Music(It's been awhile since I've heard a memorable one)

Get rid of the Heavyweight belt(I miss the original WWE Belt. There can only be one CHAMPIONSHIP Belt)

Cut the GM crap

Drop the side shows(Diva Search,Tough Enough. That sex challenge was dumb)

BRING IN NEW WRESTLERS WITH BETTER GIMMICKS.-

This has been brought to you by an angry WWE fan.

I am glad that Booker T did not get the title at SS... because he deserves MUCH better. Also, I do like JBL as WWE champion.

But what I mean about the Book man is, he deserves to get the title at Mania. Otherwise it wouldn't be fair to him.

Did anyone like the ending to Raw, reading the reuslt. there was so much shit going on. Benoit and Jericho screwing Triple H throughout the World title match seems kinda funny.

As for ending the Brand Extention. I say keep it. I hated it during the summer of 2002 when it first started. I thought it was so poorly done. The Undisputed and Woman's title going to both shows, the tag titles only being on SD!, every major title on Raw, everyhting was so clusterfucked and confusing it was hard to follow anyhting. I like the Brand Exention alot more now. its more balanced and easier to follow. And I think having a World title on each brand is a great idea. When Triple H is the Champion on Raw, mostly likly you'll find a better Champion on SmackDown! or vise versa For me JBL is a much better Champion than Triple H right now. Its just like WCW and WWF. instead its Raw and SmackDown!. I kinda like it that way.
I think the brand extension is cool. Raw needs one thing tho': GETTING RID OF HHH BY TRADING HIM TO SMACKDOWN!
I would like to see more championship matches on Raw and Smackdown and the challengers actually winning (likely the World Heavywight and WWE Championship). I remember back in WCW, the challengers actually used to win the World Heavywight and US Title on Nitro and Thunder, not like on today's WWE that no one wins the World Hevyweight and WWE tittles on Raw or Smackdown, only on PPVs.

having the heavyweight titles change hands often on a Raw or SmackDown! show won't be such a good idea. The World title and WWE title are suppost to be the major titles in the WWE and having them change hands on one of the regular shows alot would bring down the prestigues and importance of those belts.. Having them being contended on Raw and SmackDown! often is good to do, but leave the title changes at the PPV so it'll mean more. The Last time a World title changed hands on one of the regular shows was last year on SmackDown! when Lesnar won the WWE title in that Iron Man match.

The regular titles like the IC,US and Espeically the Tag Titles are the ones changing hands all the time on free TV. they should really cut that out. Every WWE Tag Team Champion this year has won the titles on a SmackDown! show. sheesh. and I think the same thing for Raw. Benoit/Edge, La Resistance and last night, Eugene and Regal has all won the tag titles on Raw. its getting rediculus.

LOL! Yeah, I couldn't have put it better myself! grin
You are wise beyond your years grasshopper!wink

WWE is offering former ECW star "Chilly Willy" (lol!) a contract. This is either cause they want the guy cause of hi wrestling ability, or cause he won a Purple Heart in the "war" in Iraq, and they think they can use it in a gimmik! Questions/Comments?confused

I really, REALLY don't like what I see with this "anti-american arab, but still an american" gimmick. We really don't need this shit right now. They did this same thing durring Dessert storm. It's just tasteless, pure and simple. Meh

The ending to Raw was funny as hell. Maven is such a tool, lol. All those cheap shots from Chris and Jericho; and Maven still couldn't get the win, lol. I hope Maven goes heel. And where the hell is Ultimo?! I thought he was coming back un-masked? Meh.

Yeah. It almost feels like the Tag titles are Tag TV titles.

Anyway, looks like last RAW was pretty good! I haven't seen it myself, but I've hardly heard any negative comments on it.
I did see a small clip though.... what was up with Chris Benoit's YELLOW tights? I thought those looked really weird on him...
Speaking of Benoit, next monday will most likely be his week. I wonder how he'll lose the world title match with HHH.

And the matches aren't even good, although that match was decent, but not great!

I'd rather see Jericho have the GM role next week and Benoit the week after going by the 'pecking order' of how the remaining team members are being pushed these days.

I'm MORE intrugued of what's going to happen with Batista after that little jab(joke) HHH threw at him! Batista didn't look like he was amused one bit. It would be interesting to see if either Jericho or Benoit makes a match having HHH defend the title against Batista. Evolution seems to be fratucring underneath the surface where Batista is concerned. First, he pushed Flair down after loosing thier tag match last week and his visual reaction to HHH's insult made in jest has me thinking that Batista might leave.

Well, I bought "The Rise and Fall of ECW" yesterday aswell as Unforgiven 2004.

the ECW DVD was the first time I ever came close to seeing anything in ECW and I was looking foward to seeing it. All I gotta say is. WOW! great DVD. some of the shit ECW use to do back than were completly insane. and some of the things they came up with were awesome like they had the crowd bring weapons to give to the wrestlers to use in the matches which was sweet. the DVD talks about everything. how ECW first started, the sucess they had, some of their wrestlers, their feud with WCW, their struggle to get a PPV deal, their hatred towards TNN, Money problems, their demise and SOO much more. the DVD is nearly 5 hours long!

Heyman and Bischoff takes harsh verbal shots at each other when they were intervewed like Heyman calling Bischof a Motherfucker(no bleeping) for stealing his talents back than and saying he was full of shit and other stuff. that was pretty cool.

The Extra features has tons of matches I haven't seen yet which i'am going to later on. I'll also watch Unforgiven later aswell. Overall, GREAT DVD.

I dont know about wrestling anymore. I was watching Raw on Monday for the first time in 4 months. I saw the match with Maven and Triple H and I called everything that happened in the match. The stuff was so predictable. I enjoyed watching it but got annoyed when I knew everything that would happen. Anyone else find wrestling pedictable but enjoyable?

Thanks MKG,

I may just make my own version of WWE in SD Vs Raw.My cousin and I were talking about that today:

Create our own made up wrestlers and put them in Stories we made up.We were going to build a PPV but the PPV mode isn't what I expected. It's just a regular match but with a Cut scene at the beginging.PPV mode was a waste.Misleading at that.I remember back in WWF Attitude you could CREATE your own PPV.You could change the color of the ropes, lights, apron, speakers ETC.SVR should've had a mode like that. Not that pre-made King of the Ring crap.At least we made a belt.It has skulls and Gold fire on the side of the belt. The name for the PPV was cool though.WEW-World Extreme Wrestling.Right now my cousin is getting XP points for the wrestlers.I hate XP points.Remember in WWF No Mercy you could just create someone without buying XP points?I'll let you know later how it will turn out.

Haha... I made about 15 wrestlers on here comes the pain and was looking forward to that create a ppv on the new game....unfortunately, like you I was disapointed with it. It's basically just a match card like season mode.

That was dissapointing and the voice acting...The WWE wrestlers seemed like they were reading their lines off of paper when they were recording. At least they got the voice overs in this time.BTW,I read over at the WM Gamefaqs forum that WM will have the wrestlers looking and acting more life like.I don't think it's true though.I haven't heard anything official about it since earlier this year.I hope it's not the GC WM.I tried playing that the other day and I had to turn off the game after playing for a few minutes.DOR and SVR were pretty good.

I like the voice acting because it makes it more lifelike although Eric Bischoff sounds different. Im playing as Randy Orton at the moment and I lost my Heavyweight title to HHH (like in real life) then took Y2Js IC title then lost it back to him. Now I'm having to do a knock out tournament for the Heavyweight.

I bought Mankind the other day...will he be in the season mode?

I'm getting Smackdown vs. Raw for Christmas. I can't wait to play around with it. Making a title, story-mode, just seeing all the cool new features.

As for the ECW dvd, I should be getting that soon I hope. My local Wal-Mart doesn't have it as yet. I heard/read that it is becoming one of WWE's highest selling dvds, stores are selling out of the dvd fast.

Smackdown looks like it might be worth watching, but I don't know if I will watch it.
