I thought the way they changed the look of the big 'G' in GMK was awesome. The white eyes kicked ass. I didn't really care for the whole 'angered souls' theory, but a great movie none-the-less.

I like the GMK Goji though because he couldn't die from any weapon and his heart beating at the end showed that very well. Plus, the GMK Goji did things that were the coolest thngs ever in a Godzilla movie, like...

*Shaking his head in disgust at Baragon as he was kicking him.

*When he is biting on Ghidorah's neck and Mothra tries to sneak up on him, Godzilla smashes him with his tail without even looking.

*Swinging Ghidorah into the path of the oncoming missile that was shot underwater.

*And just the way he looked at those two humans when he thought they were responsible for the hole in his shoulder. His face looked so cool when he got pissed.

That Godzilla was probably the most powerful Godzilla ever in the past 50 years, except for possibly Meltdown Godzilla from Godzilla vs. Destroyah.

And the one hit TKO that GFW Goji has, will probably only be good against Kamacuras, Ebirah, and Kumonga. But probably nothing to the stronger monsters.

Well, as it is kinda obvious, I am a Godzilla fan. My favorite film is Godzilla Versus King Gidorah, and I have watched most of the movies.

GMK was alright, but I was kinda pissed that they made Gidora a "hero", and that after being resurrected twice, he was still nothing compared to G (Wished they'd stuck to the original plan and had Angilas and Varan insted of Mothra and Gidora). However the fight with Baragon was badass.
As for Final Wars, that will be awesome. Yoji Shiniwaka is a designer, and Ryuhei Kitumura is directing. Never saw versus, but I played MGS Twin Snakes. Awesome.

Versus Gigan in a one on one fight? I'd like to see a rematch with the NEW versions of Gigan and Godzilla. That'd be awesome.

A couple of things:

- Isn't Mothra a female?

- How many supposed timelines of Godzilla are there? I know of two.

- Isn't Mothra only in the new generation Godzilla (1985+) Or did I miss something along the years?

- Anybody know where I can get clips of Tokyo SOS and the All-Out Monster Attack? (trailers would be fine)

- Exactly how many times has Ghidorah been killed now? (Literally, killed. As in decimated beyond repair)

Yes

3 or 4, can't remember.

No, she had her first movie in like the 60's.

- Anybody know where I can get clips of Tokyo SOS and the All-Out Monster Attack? (trailers would be fine)

Not me.

- Exactly how many times has Ghidorah been killed now?

Hard to tell, he gets his ass kicked in all of his movies grin.

Ah, okay. Thanks. Bu I still have more questions:

As for the timelines:

A) Godzilla 1954 -----> Godzilla 1985 to Godzilla Vs. Destroyah

B) The entire Sowma trilogy (I think that's his name) where Godzilla is a goody two-shoes and acts retarded the majority of the time (still good movies though). Does it ever give any background on how THIS Godzilla came to be?

*Spoilers ahead*

Apparently (I've found out) that Godzilla 2000 is the baby Godzilla in timeline A and he was the one left standing after Godzilla I's meltdown. I didn't know that.

Also from what I've gathered, Final Wars is the final part of timeline B. Am I mistaken?

As I was reading about Mechagodzilla 3, he was apparently reconstructed from Godzilla I's skeleton? I don't understand that. Could someone elaborate?

well there are 3 different godzilla timelines!
each timeline take place after the original godzilla! the three names of the series are
1.showa
2.heisei
3.shintei

each movie in the shintei series is a standalone godzilla film that have no relations to each other at all! except for godzilla x mechagodzilla and GxMxM tokyo s.o.s.

king ghidorah has been officialy killed once in each of the time lines! so officially he has died 3 times!

GFW is going to be another standalone G-film that will only have relationships to the original godzilla film!

Showa - Gojira(1954) to Terror of MechaGodzilla(1975). Series of 15 films, including the embarrasing ones such as Megalon, Godzilla's Revenge, and Godzilla vs. Gigan.

Heisei - Godzilla 1984 to Godzilla v. Destroyah. Now, because of time travel in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, the moments in the previous G'1984 and Gvs.Biollante didn't happen. The Godzilla at the end of Gvs.Destroyah is no relation to the baby Godzilla in the Showa series.

Shinsei - Godzilla 2000 Millenium to Godzilla Final Wars. This Godzilla is not the one from Godzilla vs. Destroyah. Subzilla is right that each film in this series stands alone. In G2000, GxMegaguirus, GMK, and as far as I knw, GFW, Godzilla survived his supposed death in 1954 and regenerated. However, in GxMechaGodzilla and GMMG:SOS, Godzilla died in 1954 and a new Godzilla emerged. Confusing.

There are new photos of GFW. Some close-ups of Godzilla. A small pic of Godzilla fighting Angilas. Also, pics of all 11 monsters staning together. I would post a link, but don't know how. You know where to go.

I have to say, the more I see this Godzilla costume, the more I dislike it. I hate it with it's mouth open actually, it looks more menacing with it's mouth closed. Gigan looks magnificant. I'm going to have to fight to root against him lol.

Also, a scene has been announced where Gigan and 4 other monsters, pounce on Godzilla in te south pole. Presumably when the monster king first wakes up.

Yeah. They are all pretty good. Except Godzilla X Megaguirus is probably the cheeziest Godzilla film since Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla. Watch GMK though...it's amazing.

NEW update!!

GINO (from Godzilla, with Matthew Broderick)will be in GFW. I'm sure he'll be an easy meal for the REAL Godzilla.
