December 28th, 2012 -- and then there were ten!
A final gauntlet of the greatest competitors to emerge from Season 2012 of the Internet Relay Kombat League -- the last survivors of
Armageddon Month!

TonyTheTiger had run roughshod through the competition, charging to a shocking 19-0 win streak! Could even the best of the best stop his rampage? At least initially, it didn't seem like it! The surprise package of the elimination month continued his charge through some of the most successful kombatants:

jack4813 stood firm against a flagging TonyTheTiger, but neither he, nor
TheNinjasRock071394 could remain unmoved by this unstoppable force! With all hope seemingly lost, one heavyweight fighter emerged from the carnage.
Genku had enjoyed a good run in 2012, but when the stakes were at their heighest, he had always managed to fall short. With everything on the line -- The Great Genku was able to rise to the occasion! In his 27th straight match, TonyTheTiger tasted defeat!
Genku may have brought
The Predator to a stop, but before him awaited the greatest threats in the entire league! With an impressive three reigns to her name,
CaTigeReptile was arguably the most successful power player of the KFL 2012 Season! Beyond her, a reigning Champion of rare breed --
The_Purple_Bunny: the only competitor to beat CTR's defense record!
Momentum would swing with Genku as he challenged CaTigeReptile to a shock
+10 demolition! CTR crumbled before the rising heavyweight, the trials of a year at the top clearly taking their toll! With the title now within reach, expectation may have worked against Genku, but in the final fight of 2012 he would not be denied! The_Purple_Bunny struck like water on a duck, tossed aside with a devastarting

Armageddon was done --
Genku was the Supreme Champion!
The Great Genku now marches into 2013 with supreme glory!
Only those who have pledged to the gods will rise once more to challenge the Kombat Fight League in the new year! Genku will have the burden of a target on his back. Who will rise to take the Championship in 2013? It is a question we will wask every Friday Night as the League continues!
