Covid cases just started spiking here in New Brunswick after being safe most of the year. I haven't been sick since last November, odd because I usually get sick every few months.

No personal people losses, but I have lost the majority of my works since the image hosting site TinyPic has been permanently shutdown by the Covid crisis economic strain. I lost the original files earlier in the year when my father sent his computer to get fixed. Wasted money on a memory stick for nothing, fuckin deleted my damn files before I could use it! just bought myself a new computer to recollect my stuff, and for what, shits gone off the web too.

I'M SO FUCKING PISSED, but I know other people have lost far more important things...

I probably won't be able to go back home to New York, unfortunately. Going to miss out on Christmas Eve at my mom's house, and that includes her Italian seafood feast that we do every year. Feels bad man.

Something that my wife and I found out about - there are a handful of restaurants near me that are posting a special Christmas Eve menu so that people who celebrate it Italian style can still have their feast. We're thinking of getting maybe half of our planned dishes from one of these restaurants and then making a few things ourselves to round it out. You should see if anyone near you is doing the same.

With the current racial tensions, and Covid cutting people off from their loved ones as major life changing events showing you how much you need, and rely on various other peoples. Thank you for the suggestion, my wife found a place that was preparing some premade dishes for holiday dinners, and it was great! We went with a "traditional" meal (tofurkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce), so that was new for the missus and I. ????

V8 looked great, but V9 is just fine! Really like the new look, can't wait to see it on a desktop! ????

I don't think it looks all that different compared to V8 on a desktop, but it's definitely cleaner and has more polish.
