I'm so glad that hockey is back. The opening round of the playoffs has been pretty exciting so far.

Lost power for 7 hours today due to the residual effects of the hurricane traveling up the east coast. My wife and I used that time to play cards by candlelight and spend time spoiling our dog with all the love we could muster. Glad to have power back though, the less I'm reminded of what life was like in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the better.

Hope the next Covid-19 wave in the UK ain't that bad (vaccine?).

Right now I'm super into Fall Guys. It's amazing how such a simple game can be so fun and addicting.

Assassin's Creed Rogue. I picked up Origins and Odyssey recently and I wanted to catch up with the series. I'll probably get burned out before catching up though.

Playing Ori and the Blind forest regularly on weekends. I think I already played at least 60h of the game (considering it's a 4h game). It's such a pretty and relaxing piece. Reminds me of Abe's Oddysee (because of escape sequences... people b!tch about Ginso Tree... they shoud try escapeing Paramonia and Scrabania and then we'll talk)

I played AC:Rogue and liked it a lot. But then again I'm in the minority that liked AC3. But I enjoyed the story and Shay is my favourite AC character right after Haytham.

Making my way through AC Origins. Its actually a lot meatier of a game than I anticipated. Also suckered myself into another Dead Space 1 run because fuck it. I love Dead Space and I'm sad its in such a misused state. Planning on playing 2 immediately after then contemplating getting wasted before I ever think of playing the third. EDIT: Also waddup J-Spit

Moving into a new home in a couple of days. It seems like we're in good shape with having everything ready to go, but the more I look around, the more things I find that need to be done.

Anyone ever experiment with binaural beats or theta waves before going to bed? I've been doing it for a few weeks now, and I find that I'm getting a better night's sleep than before I started. I can tell just from the sounds that it's not for everyone though. Not sure how many people want to hear a constant tone over their ambient music.

I've always been curious about this kind of stuff, but I think that because I am aware of it, I would focus so much on it that I wouldn't fall asleep.

Also I'd be a little worried about falling asleep and waking up 10 years later, hovering over the body of a dead Senator.
