The only person I can think to have collaborated with Macklemore is Ryan Lewis, who's a composer. Macklemore writes his own songs and whatnot.

I've never really seen or heard of Macklemore working with anyone else; then again, I don't pay that much attention to him, anyway.

I wish MK10 would get announced already, so this site can get up and pumping again.

It's a shame this has to be the case.
It can be changed if we all just get to posting good, worthwhile text outside the Drive By IV, but that requires group-effort and we all know how that goes....

I do my best to try to keep the site going with good interesting topics and whatnot, heck I release my music projects on this site.

It just seems that very few engaging threads get beyond the General Discussion. I often post in the General MK and Future MK sections, but the threads are often left in inactivity for up to over 24 hours after a post.

I even try to keep the KAK tournament thread near the top of the front page in the Fan Submission forum to keep others interested, but it seems all the contestants have grown disenchanted, myself included.

I had once suggested that this site get a Youtube channel to maintain users, with various news bits and whatnot posted on the site, as well as a Fighter of the Week video series that features a new character from MK every week, maybe Friday.

But it's just a thought, I guess. Would be nice, though.

It would have been nice if someone else could have taken over the contest. I made a thread about the "best character costume," but I found that I had little time to do it so I allowed someone else to take over the votes.

I personally just stopped caring since no one has done anything to it, which is a shame since it was my first time participating in it. Guess I won't be doing it next year if this is always how these voting games turn out to be.

This usually isn't the case with the tournaments; they're are usually conducted well.

Mick-Lucifer just stopped focusing on it, and still has yet to provide a reason as to why. And it's not as if he's unable to be on the site, because he has been posting various news feeds and even started pitching the Fight Night Thread (or whatever it's called lol). Like you said, it would have been nice if another mod had taken over for the KAK tournament, but sadly, no one has.

I wish that I could do that.

I'd love to help out a bit with that. Mick, assuming you read this, I'm willing to help out in any way possible, it'e not like I spend my time on anything other than MKO, really, considering I live in the ghetto. I'd do the research and such for this "Fighter of the Week" idea, and could pitch on a few more ideas if you want.
On top of that, if somebody does any MUGEN work, we could start to advertise THAT game, and other User-Created games, even go as far as to even "open a studio" (not literally, but work together on game making)
We have great sprite makers and musicians on the site, ad many, MANY threads in the future MK Games forum have suggested ideas for MK games. We could do MK v Street Fighter, a new MK with sprites, we could all contribute to it.

Really, I'm serious about this.
