Happy Labor Day kombatants

I like hanging out with people that are so different from each other! And yesterday was great. Damn, it's easy to party for cheap in Montreal.

Which is why I don't like to go out partying too much... I said in my thread about freshies and partying that my mother's co-worker's son got the shit knock out of him.

He was walking back two girls to their dorm and making sure that they get to their dorm fine, well when he thought that they went in, six guys just came up from behind and knock the crap out of him. He was beaten so badly that his face was coming off, and he had to get plates in. No brain damage or eye damage... I think it's odd that he's going back that's even what his father said but. For no reason this guy got jumped. The girls couldn't identify the attackers because by the time they got to the guy the attackers were gone.

My gut instinct, townies... Who else would attack people for no reason at parties?

On another note, I had by far a great weekend yet. Cannot wait for this Saturday, I get to go to the Notre Dame game.

I know! My voice is starting to change too! Thank God it's happening before my 25th birthday.

That is seriously messed up. Sounds almost as bad as the crap that happens over here every single day.


On another note, I went to donate blood today. My gf's dad is gonna have a MAJOR operation on Wednesday, so he'll need all the blood he can get. It took a loooooong time for them to take my blood out. So long that I actually missed lunch (and I had eaten breakfast very early in the morning). I felt a bit weak so I thought it wouldn't be a big deal if I went to play soccer like I do every Monday.

Boy was I wrong.

Yeah, after you donate blood, you're supposed to eat something (usually stuff with a lot of sugar and/or caffeine to keep you up) and not do any strenuous activities. How long did you last playing soccer?

Yeah sorry for sharing that story, it's just that was news from home and I'm here at school, and I don't feel like just releasing that kind of news upon random people I am just meeting, so it just feels good to get it off of my chest somewhere like here.

And I hang out just in regular cities like the rest of you. But I guess this was too close to the southern ghetto of the city. Why must every town have a southern ghetto (except for Hoboken which is in the west, haha). Anyways, yeah, guns don't seem to be hard to get your hands on around here. I don't know if you recall, but last summer I watched my friend get robbed at gun point.

My soccer games last 1 hour. I started to feel weak after about 5 minutes, but at about the 40 minute mark, I had to constantly stop moving COMPLETELY for a minute or two.

I had my first swim meet today. I never would have guessed that boys these days shower in their swim trunks. People are so modest.
