I didn't think they were horrible, just that they could have done better. They certainly had the potential to be cool (I liked th color scheme) but that fisherman guy wasn't done right. He wound up making the Islanders look like the last place team that they were.

Yeah, I guess the color scheme wasn't so bad. It's just that the logo was so silly, it didn't fit for that franchise. I know they weren't too good during the fisherman period, but they should've just stayed with their old logo and which I believe what it is now (with the lighter shade of blue and orange).

There's always been some idea of something like this, but yeah it's pretty impractical. Sort of a "MK-Con" type of thing, obviously in Chicago since that's where the game headquarters are, but to organize something like that would probably take a fair amount of money and if no one showed up the first year it would really be all for nothing.

Unfortunately, yeah. I've always had questions about the dedication of MK fans in general. It just strikes me as a very casual community and always has. A good example is how dead the site was before the new game was announced. It's never a good sign when the most popular MK site on the internet is struggling to reach double digit users at any given time. This is sort of what always happens. The site is active, busy and fun while a game is in development. They release it, and a month later everyone is filing out. That's not a sign of what I consider a strong community, and you need a very strong community so support any type of convention.
Still, like if I won the lottery or something like that I'd be interested in trying it out just once to see how it would go.

There are no double downs here. Wonder if I can make my own...
At 512 am, I got an email from MKO telling me someone was trying to reset my password. At 8 02am, I got an email from another forum that I never use that was blank in the subject and blank in the body. I fear that I have been hacked. Or that a hacking attempt has been made.

About Me
The future seemed so bright.
But this thing turned out so evil,
I don’t know why I’m still surprised.
Even angels have their wicked schemes,
And you take that to new extremes.
But you’ll always be my hero,
Even though you lost your mind...

The e-mail is just proof someone attempted to hack you. They would need to have access to your e-mail in order to complete the "hack". Recently, we've had a person causing some trouble, even attempting to reset admin passwords. It could be related, maybe not, but he's been a general pest in the last week with making clones and harassing the staff.

There is other ways. For example Newgrounds does a London meet every year but what they do is rather book some place, they agree to meet up somewhere then go to pub get drunk. Only problem is it still need a strong community.

You're tired of him? I'm surprised no one is going out of their minds about the whole Lebron James crap.
Omigosh, I HATE watching basketball with a passion. I enjoy playing the sport, but watching it? Jesus... I can't believe that Cleveland lives off this person. I mean from what my boyfriend told me, Cleveland's economy got extremely better with this guy, and now that he's with the Heat, Cleveland's going to hell basically. People could lose their jobs...
James should have been better off going to Chicago, rather than being on the team with two other good players and the rest no one even cares about. He basically screwed Cleveland, and I'll be surprised to hear that threats are to be made whenever Miami and Cleveland go face to face... And that's basically four times during the season.
On other news, I strongly recommend anyone going to Gameworks if there's one in your state. It's a very fun place. And cosmic bowling is fun, I've never done that before.

That's why they call him King James. Lebron James is God to Cleveland. I'm still Google searching the 47 foot tall statue they burned down of him. This is the Nba. Bum players need to get of the bench, and become stars they envy.

Well, see here's the thing. I don't keep track of anything sports wise that is. I mean I love watching baseball and football. Basketball is a sport that I refuse to watch yet for some reason I'm knowing more things than the whole Cubs and Lou thing and I'm a Cubs fan until I die.
It's just so weird when I was typing this that I was actually discussing about basketball... I don't talk about basketball... Damn Sportscenter.
